out that is lovely and large - wish my bathroom was a bit bigger to accommodate.

bunny well done on the empties.
I sometimes get unexplained itching (although since I have been on a hiatus from my fertility treatment, much less so) - but I found bathing on an oat bath to bring relief. Grab a muslin cloth, put a handful of oats in, tie it up, drop in bath.
Alternatively run a bath and chuck in some dried milk powder - lovely nourishing bath with mild exfoilation from lactic acid.

My bathroom and I appreciate all the compliments Blush

I have an empty:

  • M&S Camelia shower creme - God knows how old this was!!!

Right I am packing up - so I can drop my stuff off at my flat before going to work.

@kwick

Actually, my bathroom isn't very big at all. All the houses here are the same, and I looked at three before I bought. Two had the sink right opposite the door, with the loo to the left, on the outside wall, and the bath with shower over to the right. The sinks were all tiny and under the window, so no mirror.

This family had totally restyled it, with the sink being the thing they wanted to accommodate - so the sink is on the left as you walk in, giving room for a bigger sink and a mirror, over which is a big mirror with a demister built in (it's like being in a hotel), and then to the right of that is the loo - so the loo cistern is actually behind the wall, with access in the second bedroom built-in wardrobe! It does mean you can't open the door if the sink drawer is open but as I live on my own this is not a problem.
Bath/shower in same place, P-shaped but not a full length bath.

Imagination....

Bathroom looks good Kwik. My poor dh still doing ours but fortunately have a shower room.

DD has left beauty products too so even more stuff. Another body butter and a Clinique eyeshadow. Hardly used

Hello all,

Making good progress on my 13 By Halloween, which was:

  2. Sanctuary night cream 15 ml
  3. Estee Lauder daywear 15 ml
  4. REN rose facial exfoliator 30 ml - FINISHED
  5. Rituals foaming shower gel 250 ml (I think)
  6. Occitane cherry blossom shower gel 250ml (again, I think) - some already gone - FINISHED
  7. Rituals hand and body lotion 250 ml (about half left)
  8. Lush butterball bath bomb (easy win!) - FINISHED
  9. Loreal micellar water 400 ml (some already used)
10. Estee Lauder cleanser full size 11. Occitane Roses hand cream 30 ml 12. Occitane Orchid and neroli hand cream 30 ml 13. Estee lauder advanced night repair 7ml

So I am going to add another 4 things to replace the 4 that I've used up:

I have another empty, dermalogica ultracalming cleanser completely gone. I have another one ready to replace it Grin

Tablefor4 · 27/09/2017 16:00
  • The Ordinary Buffet - felt oily but in a good way. Will buy replacement eventually
  • No7 Night cream - my standard.
IPokeBadgers · 27/09/2017 16:42

comeagainforbigfudge · 27/09/2017 20:21

Congratulations Em lovely news.
Nice bathroom kwick

Another empty - finished my little mini givenchy lipstick. Loved it. So going on my xmas list. knowing my luck it will no longer be being produced

Strawberryfield12 · 27/09/2017 21:10

Have just checked my Halloween list, I have five more items left to use. Two of them, I suspect, will be difficult ones. Keep focusing to use as many items as possible to free up space for the advent calendars. However, reading everybody talking about bathrooms has inspired me to rethink how I store my stash. Have a new chest of drawers in the bedroom with nothing in the drawers yet. No idea why I never thought about moving the spares in there and leave in the bathroom only the actual in-use items?!

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 27/09/2017 21:34

Em wonderful news. Congratulations and what a beaut!
I have used a grand total of zero products but haven't bought any so win?!?
I love the bathroom kwick. Well done. Love the idea of podcast too.

Welcome new folk. Being your empties and seek absolution!

suchatiredbunny · 27/09/2017 22:13

strawberry I use a drawer in DHs chest of drawers for my stash. It's currently a full width one and my aim is to reduce it down to one of the half width drawers. Bathroom just has what we all use, spares are in the drawer in our bedroom.

BlooBagoo · 28/09/2017 00:05

Sigh.

I bought two new eyeliners today. Same brand, just slightly different colours. Couldn't decide so I bought both. I could fill a decent sized box with all my eyeliners which I rarely use.

I think my eye lift gel is finally on the way out though, it's been struggling to pump out the last couple of days, so don't think it'll be long before at least one small thing is going out.

kwick · 28/09/2017 08:14

out sounds great - please share photos Grin

Well done big!!!

Brilliant idea strawberry!!! I am trying to rethink stuff like that too as I clean and unpack flat (I had floors and walls done too).

Great progress one and all!

another what is this podcast idea of which you speak?

What eyeliners bloo? I was watching Fleur de Force this morning on YouTube and she spoke very highly of the Estee Lauder/VB ones and Scanalise from Rimmel.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Glam Crystals by Collection. I'm obsessed after a friend showed me hers, and I've bought half the range now because I obviously need glitter in every colour going. Blush

CantChoose · 28/09/2017 21:00

Aww Em! What a cutie!

LOVE the bathroom kwik, such envy. Our bathroom is modern but very basic as we didn't have any money when we did it.

I've finished a REN evercalm global protection day cream. I wouldn't repurchase this. I think it's oddly named; it wasn't calming (made my skin sting a bit) and had no spf in it which I'd have thought would be a basic requirement for any skin product with 'protection' in the name!

kwick · 29/09/2017 07:13

I have an empty:

  • Korres Lavender Blossom shower gel: not lavendery enough for me. One of my 13 for Halloween- yay!

So as I slowly clean & unpack my flat and settle things back a few things become apparent about my new bathroom:

  • I have a lot of stuff
  • despite installing a massive cabinet - which is actually not very deep - and having under sink storage I do not have enough space
  • to fully have things in their rightful place (including with a charity shop/the bin) is gonna take a whole lot of time
  • I need this thread more than ever!!!

Happy Friday everyone!

Great thread! I managed to get rid of 9 unopened different face creams by giving them all to my daughter in law Grin

kwick · 29/09/2017 08:13

Well done shoo!!

I have stopped using shower gel and started using soap. This is great, it's smaller, cheaper etc.

The problem is I have about 20 shower gels to use! I also have a full 500ml Jason one, and about half of the Jason one I was most recently using. The Christmas fayre is asking for items for the tombola and I am going to give them a bottle of port I got last year from a supplier and a bottle of L'Occitane shower gel I've not started using. I'll have a dig around and see if there is anything else untouched I can pass on!

d270r0 · 29/09/2017 12:59

Outtogetyou I think a bottle of L'occitane shower gel would be a fantastic tombola present. I'd be over the moon if I got that- much nicer than the normal rubbish you end up getting in a school tombola!

d270r0 · 29/09/2017 13:01

I have not used any more of my 13, but chucked a soap and glory thermal body scrub. When I looked at it it had separated into solids and liquid and wouldn't remix, didn't fancy using it.

LentilBaby · 29/09/2017 16:36

Sorry ladies but you might want to get on to the Nip and Fab website before 5pm....all of their glycolic pads are £5!!!
Don't shoot the messenger!! 😳

woodhill · 29/09/2017 18:32

I did have my makeup done with the eye shadow blackberry frost.

Not sure. Is it ageing?

Can't work out how to edit photo to upload on iPad without screenshot hence background
