This is has been inspired by the 'How to look expensive thread' and I've seen a couple other specific threads and thought 'why not?'. This can be a place to share our wish lists or ask about prices if someone doesn't have a certain store near them etc. Or just be handbag porn !

I know handbags always cause controversy but I think we can all agree to live and let others live. This is a DESIGNER HANDBAG thread - please do not read further if it offends you.

I'll start. I am LOVING the Dior Diorama and have decided ,if all goes according to plan, to treat myself before the year ends.
Also loving the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs mini. Does anyone have either?

I'm after a Stella McCartney handbag, the falabella one because it's vegan leather. But I'm not sure - I once had a handbag in the past with a chain strap and it hurt my shoulder because the chain would dig in. If anyone has a Stella McCartney, I'd love to know what you think of it. Is it comfortable to carry?

Every so often I see Lancel in TK Maxx, usually in the luggage bargain bin as people don't recognise the label. Always worth a look.

Do you Soho Disco owners regret your purchase? The small crossbody with the tassle will be discontinued in October I think, the newer version will have no tassle so I'm considering getting one while I still can.

@FlindersKeepers I have the Gucci Soho disco in red. I LOVE it - no regrets. Use it most days, fits more than you'd think and still looks like new nearly a year on.

Thoughts on the Balenciaga City bag? (Classic)

I'm looking at various reviews and YouTube videos of both the original balenciaga, and the Rebecca Minkoff Regan dupe.

Any thoughts welcome!

banana I have a few of the older style Rebecca Minkoff bags and they used to be really good quality. I have heard that the newer styles including the Regan are thinner leather and not as well made, but the Regan does look lovely and I have been tempted myself but am on a buying ban. Might be worth looking at some reviews on the Rebecca Minkoff thread on the Purse Forum website.

The Balenciaga City is a bag I have been lusting after for years! Would you buy a preloved one? I was so desperately in lust with the style I bought an "inspired by" bag from a website called baginc.com but this may not be your cup of tea!

Is there a bag anyone would recommend for work? Preferably, £1.5k and less. I tend to like structured bags but I am quite flexible for this.

I love the Givenchy Pandora.

I would love a nice slouchy bag but Celine is only available in selfridges ? I tried a Tom ford one from NAP and sent it back, the hardware was hideous.

Structured bags.. givenchy Antigona or whatever it's called? Or lancel (you need to get in Harrods or France, but not too pricey). Prada...

For those with the Givenchy Antigona, is it too bulky?
