This is has been inspired by the 'How to look expensive thread' and I've seen a couple other specific threads and thought 'why not?'. This can be a place to share our wish lists or ask about prices if someone doesn't have a certain store near them etc. Or just be handbag porn !

I know handbags always cause controversy but I think we can all agree to live and let others live. This is a DESIGNER HANDBAG thread - please do not read further if it offends you.

I'll start. I am LOVING the Dior Diorama and have decided ,if all goes according to plan, to treat myself before the year ends.
Also loving the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs mini. Does anyone have either?

I don't do expensive handbags at that level (I spend my money on fancy cars) but thought I'd share my story as I still struggle to see the funny side years after with my beloved handbag!
My brother bought me a lovely bag if asked for, evening bag, small, black with some black and silvery stones encrusted )it was about £120 I think from house of Fraser) - I loved it, used it once, my DD was 4 and loved it too as she likes sparkly shiny stuff
My DD a few days later was making a thank you card for PIL fit Christmas presents, it had sparkly stones glued to it and it needed to dry on the radiator .... I helped her(she has loads of craft items in a box so didn't think too much about these strobes drying) .... then I saw my new lovely bag ...... with about 8 stones missing!!!!!!!! 😫😫😫😫😫

flumpy I'm so sorry but I burst out laughing ! When she's older you can make her buy you a replacement 😉

Hello, I love my Chanel and Hermes bags. Have collected 2.55's, totes and Jypsiere over the years. I generally prefer stuff that is classic and wearable. At the moment I have no further bag desires, well only a couple anyway! I am really pleased with my little Chanel family.

Does anyone have the small Mulberry Bayswater? I have been lusting after one for a while and it looks a bit more practical than the big one for my lifestyle. Do they age well?

I was everything Jerome Dreyfuss has on offer. But particularly the Maurice tote.

Also lusting after an Amya Hindmarch Ebury, but without a mad smiley face or tony the tiger embossed on it.

I'm currently wearing Kate spade but lusting for Chanel, I visit the lovely bags a lot....

So as a LV virgin can some one explain the different endings on the neverful like MM.

Ghostly Those letters refer to sizes. BB is the smallest, PM is the next size up and MM is the largest I believe.

Got a Chanel bucket bag kind of thing a couple of weeks ago, it's an everyday bag and super cute
I'm a bit obsessed with Chanel, my collection is steadily growing. I dream of an Hermes Kelly tho/ in a real poppy colour like a bright blue or something sigh

I am out tonight and have the LV men's toiletry bag tucked under my arm as a clutch. Tip I learned from a fashion friend - a lot of men's wash bags work well as clutches

Amber in a similar vein, my first LV was the pochette which I think is actually a sunglasses case

I'm considering a celine phantom Iuggage tote I had one previously and it literally fell apart but I used it all the time. I also like the belt but one of the joys of the phantom was you could just bung everything in as no flap probably why it ended up trashed

Im currently using an aspinal bag which I love and it's extremely hard wearing. Best I've ever had I think.

allfur the stupid embossed smiley faces and cartoons on all the current Anya bags drives me nuts. I'd been lusting after a structured Ebury for years and the moment it was right to treat myself, she'd gone completely bonkers. I'd love to know who buys her bags these days.

Have bought her older sister out from storage. The LV bowling ball bag, bought 20 years ago and used everyday for 10 years. So worth every penny.
