This is has been inspired by the 'How to look expensive thread' and I've seen a couple other specific threads and thought 'why not?'. This can be a place to share our wish lists or ask about prices if someone doesn't have a certain store near them etc. Or just be handbag porn !

I know handbags always cause controversy but I think we can all agree to live and let others live. This is a DESIGNER HANDBAG thread - please do not read further if it offends you.

I'll start. I am LOVING the Dior Diorama and have decided ,if all goes according to plan, to treat myself before the year ends.
Also loving the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs mini. Does anyone have either?

I'm after the ysl sac de jour in antique rose grained leather. Not too sure what size to get though!

Great choice with the dior diorama I also love that bag in the powder pink!

My list for summer is:

Neverfull GM in DE with red lining

Small zipped Bayswater in the new ocean green colour

Ooh I love a good designer bag I have a little collection and my most recent purchase is a beautiful Chanel Boy in shearling, so cuddly, but I will probably store it away until autumn as I don't think it's very summery.

I have just seen the Jeff Koons Louis Vuitton collaboration and I am totally obsessed! Has anyone else had a look? Trying to convince DP that it would be an art investment not just a desire for a new bag!

Anyone ever been to their Bicester Outlet?

Someone posted this bag on another thread which is large enough to double as a work bag. I really like it & am contemplating getting it one day, it's not as expensive as the others on here but still a significant outlay.

Turkey that's almost the one I was after ( handle slightly different) in a forest green.
I drove myself mad agonising about it over a weekend before deciding g against it!

Ooooo maybe this is a good place to ask - I want to buy my mum a LV bag for her 60th next year. She's always wanted a genuine one but has had to make do with fakes (yuck). I know next to nothing about this stuff - where would be the best/cheapest place to buy one? Thank you! (Am in Manchester).

Someone asked about Mulberry in Bicester - last went 2 years ago and I don't think I saw a big bag for £400 ....you could probably get the Lily for that price as it's already near that price. Or some of the new bad they bought as 'entry range'.

Za1ny I love the Sac De Jour. The mini looks very nice but doesn't have a zip and that scares me.

Ziggy you could have a look at second hand websites. I'd steer away from eBay though as that's risky. If not, then the LV in manchester is the next best place. Models like the speedy/Neverful are some of their cheapest.

Brandalley occasionally have great sales and regularly do Mulberry. It's hot and miss as to which styles they have but my Chloe was half price.

Sorry - but this seems a good place to ask ... If anyone has a tan coloured big slouchy mulberry bag that they want to sell - I'm on the hunt for one ! They don't seem to make them anyone !

I've been longing for a Birkin for ages but, probably luckily given the price tag, haven't yet succeeded in finding one in stock.

I'm a Mulberry bag fan , owning 16 . 2 I bought new and the rest are pre- loved .

Sofie Shohet on YouTube is into handbags and gives good advice about investment pieces. If I was to buy one it would have to be one I could get my money back on, or better yet make money on!

I have 2 mulberry bags and adore them. A Daria Hobo in tan and a blue tote. Both bought in their sales so about 30% off. I also love my Coach shoulder bag. Now I really want this.

I bought a Givenchy Antigona from Brandalley which on arrival turned out to be a second, and not one of those where you can hardly notice the flaw either. I always thought that seconds had to be advertised as such, but clearly not.
