This is has been inspired by the 'How to look expensive thread' and I've seen a couple other specific threads and thought 'why not?'. This can be a place to share our wish lists or ask about prices if someone doesn't have a certain store near them etc. Or just be handbag porn !

I know handbags always cause controversy but I think we can all agree to live and let others live. This is a DESIGNER HANDBAG thread - please do not read further if it offends you.

I'll start. I am LOVING the Dior Diorama and have decided ,if all goes according to plan, to treat myself before the year ends.
Also loving the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs mini. Does anyone have either?

Laska thinking about it - if it were me I would send the pics to CS with a nice email explaining your disappointment and ask them to inspect it as you think it's not up to the standard you would expect and suspect it's a design fault . Especially as the leather in the rest of the bag is good . You never know they might repair it for free .
Their CS does vary from brilliant to not so good - it's worth a try .

Yes, you are right, ill unsquish the bag a bit over the weekend and photograph it in the daylight..

I bought one of those Very Intelligente Pockets for my new Jaeger Hix , thats what you need in that Effie bag I think ..(I got mine from ebay )

Ooh I love a good bag, only have budget for 2nd hand but last Jan got a lovely red coach tote bargain off eBay. Currently awaiting a Chloe & Bloomingdales cross body bag for city walking! I love that Chloe Marcie tan one.

Zara W I'm so jealous about your metallic Bao Bao. I keep looking at them and I think they're amazingly gorgeous in a space age kind of way! Can you carry a lot in it?

I have a Chloe Marcie mini, and would definitely recommend them. Not ridiculously expensive and fits quite a lot in. I've had it for about 18 months and have had quite a lot of wear from it, but it looks pretty much brand new.

I'm considering a new tote bag for work. My options are:

Can't decide - both would be great but have absolutely no need for that many. Am trying to buy far fewer bags and use them all regularly - have sold 7 in the last week on eBay, and I've still got quite a few tbh

There's a Prada bag I really really want but out of budget at £1700. Navy blue tote with concertinerd sides. Absolutely gorgeous. Gave it a try in store at Westfield was practically weeping at leaving it behind.

I would love love love a Gucci Disco. My most recent bag is a tan APC half moon which is fab.

Would also like a Bayswater - in a bright colour (I have a Del Ray in black so needs to be significantly different).

I have a Tory Burch clutch I've had many years which I still love and use tons.

TBH there's a lot of bags I'd like!!

I don't understand the fascination with handbags personally, but get that they can bring joy to others.

A friend of mine has recently messaged me to say how excited she is because her new Kate Spade bag had arrived, along with a photo. Obvs I then had a cheeky Google to see how much it was, and was so shocked! It just looks like a fun, novelty bag to me...what am I missing?!

I love bags. I used to chop and change quite a bit but since I got a Bays for my 30th I am on a Mulberry kick (almost 10 yrs now).

Currently I only have my trusty oak Bays and an oak Alexa - both of which I won't be moving on.

I'm on a Fossil kick too - I know they're not 'designer' but I've never had to search through 8 Fossil bags to get a 'perfect' specimen like I had to with a Mulberry Hobo a few yrs ago

I know they are ubiquitous but what I really want next is a LV Neverfull MM in Damien ebene. Been thinking/lusting for 4 yrs now.

I have a thread about this. And have finally decided on the Mulberry Bayswater Double Zip in Oxblood. Tis £1500. I totally love it!

Then next purchase in about a year probably will be a neverful.

Love the oxblood. Years ago they did a special edition of Bays in a leather that's as a cross between oxblood and chocolate. OMG It was stunning.

I will make a big bag purchase in September (annual event). This year I'm quite taken by either the Balenciaga Giant City or the LV Twist. I really, really love the Loewe elephant but I know it's a bit of the moment.

I'm also planning on getting the Dolce & Gabbana pineapple clutch, just for fun.

Yes I forgot about Coach. Love their more classic bags and some of the new ones. They went a bit too bling for awhile.

I'm currently lusting over a Tom Ford Sedgwick bag, it's beautiful. But I've just bought a new car and can't justify it.

I fell out of love with mulberry, I have a LV DE neverful which I wanted for so long but I'm not using it and am vaguely considering selling it so I have the funds for when the right bag comes along.

I have a black Bayswater from 2007 and a conker Alexa that I bought preloved for my 40th.

I really want a Balenciaga City in black, but the old classic style not the giant hardware. Don't mind preloved as I don't know if it's still available - can anyone recommend somewhere to buy one online please?
