This is has been inspired by the 'How to look expensive thread' and I've seen a couple other specific threads and thought 'why not?'. This can be a place to share our wish lists or ask about prices if someone doesn't have a certain store near them etc. Or just be handbag porn !

I know handbags always cause controversy but I think we can all agree to live and let others live. This is a DESIGNER HANDBAG thread - please do not read further if it offends you.

I'll start. I am LOVING the Dior Diorama and have decided ,if all goes according to plan, to treat myself before the year ends.
Also loving the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs mini. Does anyone have either?

I love bags and lust after Mulberry.

I have a few Coach bags and an Osprey for the office.

I keep considering a Coach Crosby but I feel I have enough Coach bags now and each one I buy pushes me further away from the Mulberry I'd really like

Having a Bayswater mulberry which I've never felled with. Everyday bag is my LV Neverful I adore it, it's just so easy and Carey's all my crap and more. This is the next on the list

Also lusting after a Prada galleria bag. I'm not a big fan of large bags, I've no idea what people keep in them! I love the coach edie and keep going to buy but then thinking it will look silly as I'm just a phone, purse, keys kinda person. Still it is rather beautiful

Mydiet, your bags are exactly the same as my first two designer bags. The bowling bag was called an elipse I believe, my neverfull damier azure has been kidnapped by my mother for her holiday bag, it is just so useful.

I also really like Aspinal bags at the moment.

I've posted about this before but I got a Marc Jacobs hillier hobo in cobalt blue for £50 in Oxfam. It is my pride and joy.

I really want a MM Neverfull....have just had a promotion so maybe.....

I did use my neverful, it's an MM and it's lovely. I moved and now walk about 15 mins each way to work and didn't want it getting wet in winter, I have a couple of longchamp le Pilages I use which are ideal.

I live in north Essex and what did put me off was going in to town and it seemed that every third bag was a de neverful!
I have a matching Sarah purse which I've never used too!

I'd maybe like a bag that fastens, an LV Sienna maybe, I'd know it when I saw it!

I've been building up my collection over the years. I have 5 mulberrys now - 3 Bayswater (dark brown mock croc, very dark grey and midnight blue) a Kensington in taupe and a black tessie. I have about 4 coccinelle bags, all of which I love.
My most expensive was a givenchy, which was approx 2k. It's a beautiful soft leather and a very classic shape/style. Definitely an investment piece!

Does anyone have an Antigona?
I think I'd like it to be my first designer handbag, I've started saving, so i have time to figure out where to buy it, and if it's really the one for me.

I know it's not 'designer' (is it?) but I'm really feeling Tommy Hilfiger for seasonal pieces. They have some cute pieces right now. I'll attach a picture later.

What beauties you all have. It's nice to see people who appreciate a good bag and don't see fit to moan about being frivolous when I spend my hard earned money on one!

My little collection includes a Chanel Boy, a 2.55, a YSL sac du jour and my pride and joy Hermes Birkin. I sometimes go upstairs and take it out of its box just to admire it. Is that sad? I'm away for Easter but will take pictures when I'm home.

Next up I have my eye on on a Gucci Sylvie. I love the embroidered ones although I think it will date quickly.

Ooh Lanaa I love the sound of your collection... what colour is your Birkin? I'd love a bright statement one. I can but dream....!

Mostly using a little velvet leopard print YSL cross body, a metallic black, chevron-quilted Chanel WOC or a Balenciaga hip bag at the moment. I do like a small cross body.

I seem to have accumulated 'a number' of Mulberry bags: a black regular lily, an oxblood medium lily, an oxblood small bayswater satchel, a green panel alexa, a tan joelle, a black east west bayswater and my newest addition, a beautiful oxblood deep embossed croc print bayswater.

I also have a couple of See by Chloe bags, and one Kate Spade.

I'm actually thinking of selling the small bayswater satchel and the alexa, they are beautiful bags but I'm just not using them atm thanks to a job change and I could use the money for something I would use now. Or I could use the money to fund yesterday's online purchase...

My Birkin is dark grey Ilove'I wanted a bright one but I couldn't justify the expense. One day... Moomin, that is a thing of beauty. Ooohhhhhh for some colour.

Everyone seems to have Mulberry bags, they look nice but have the prices suddenly doubled or is it me? They seem to have gotten rather expensive. I still covet the Roxanne. Does anyone have one? I may get a used one on eBay.

I have 2 Roxannes Lanaa black and oak .
If you find one on eBay be sure to get it authenticated first on The Purse Forum as there are still many fakes out here .

I wonder - would people jump straight to their dream bag (£3k) or get a cheaper one (£1.5k) first and then later got the dream one ?

Going through this thread I'm starting to feel as if I seriously lack any sort of outfit creativity. For me when it comes to bags, if I'm looking for something new, I just purchase another Birkin in another colour since they seem to go best with my numerous blouses/skirts/cardigans/dresses/blazers/shoes that are all of the exact same style but in different shades of black/grey/white/beige.

I have just purchased this DKNY can't wait to use it. ( I know it's not up there with the mulbs and Neverfull)

I use the Mitzy as an everyday bag and the Lily at weekends or for going out.

The DelRey was my everyday bag when I had an office job but it rarely sees the light of day any more which is shame, I'm going to try selling it.

Can anyone recommend a good site for selling (not eBay)?

I had a huge handbag obsession in my twenties. Lack of cash in the last few years killed the obsession. We have been earning a lot more recently and dh got me Vivienne Westwood Alexa. Not hugley expensive but i love it and its ignited my handbag passion again.
