100 days to go. Do you have your list ready?? Have you decided on your top 3 priorities? (remember you can have less or more and you can swap them around after a certain amount of time if you want)

Ok then...

GO GO GO!

I'm so sorry I've been MIA again. Prepping and packing for the holiday and then the holiday and I still have a mountain of washing to do.

Princess wise I went on a bit of a Sephora shopping spree and stocked up on my favourite American make up that's not easy to get here.

I also found out I'm pregnant. Discovered just before I went. Really didn't expect it, had a miscarriage middle of August and it takes me ages to get pregnant.

What a lovely surprise Helga even if it must've been a bit out of the blue.
Good Luck with the pregnancy, some Princessy Fingers Crossed Flowers

DrumRoll

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

According to XMasClock.com, it is 50 Days till Christmas.
So officially Half Way.

How is everyone doing?

Have you made your Top Three a habit?

Have you started on your next batch of Princessing?

I'm still trying to shift weight (the scales are stubbornly stuck on 10st7lb) but I feel trimmer so that's a binus.

I'm wearing more of my clothes , which was one of my Top 10.

Can't wear Winter coats due to hot flushes but I'm taking Red Clover so might help

Helgathehairy · 05/11/2015 18:12

70 I feel bad you're here talking to yourself!

I'm more back in the swing of things. I was really tired in NY some evenings and resorted to water wipes to remove my make up even though I knew I'd pay thr price in horribly red scratchy skin. Almost have it back under control now though.

Have some new stuff to try once it's back under control. Some sleeping masks from Sephora that you wear overnight and some new shampoo &conditioner and styling cream (my scalp was also freaking out - it's all connected)

OP posts:
KateSpadeAddict · 05/11/2015 19:04

Can I join you all?

My top three priorities would definitely be:

  1. Stick to the 5:2 to keep loosing weight.
  2. Take off my make-up every night Blush
  3. Drink less fizzy juice

On top of that i’d say

  1. Have a wardrobe clear out to only have clothes I like and wear in it
  2. Teeth whitening with Crest Strips
  3. Keep on top of unruly eyebrows!
  4. Actually shave my legs in the month of November...(not sure it happened in October Blush )
8.Perhaps start taking vitamins...what do you all take/recommend?!
70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/11/2015 12:53

Grin Helga, don't worry, I spend 99% of my life talking to myself.

I got out a magnifying mirror and looked closely at my face.

I SHOULD NOT DO THIS

OMG- where did those wrinkles, blemishes and hairs arise from.

From a distance, I can think "OK, not bad". Close up, eek

Wax my 'tasche, I thought.
Did the pits and the wax was really sticky . Managed to do my armpits but I don't want to apply that to my face . I think the wax was old, maybe been heated too often.

So there's something to add to The List. Buy wax.
Tonight, apply a nice layer of the BodyShop Sleep Mask thingey.
(That and hide the mirror Wink )

CainInThePunting · 06/11/2015 18:29

Great thread people, I've always preferred to be a low maintenance type but you have inspired me to look after myself better which I know will make me feel better about myself.

Today, I have plucked my brows, painted my nails, applied cuticle oil and am wearing jewellery (just studs and a ring but that's enough).
Later, I will remove the last of the varnish on my toes from the summer Blush and wash my face before bed.

The good habits I want to get into are:
Removing makeup and washing face before bed.
Maintaining my manicure.
Go out for a walk every work-day evening, regardless of the weather.
Keep on top of hair removal so that I'm never totally unkempt.

Thank you for inspiring me.

AWONI · 10/11/2015 21:42

Yikes!! Any princesses still princessing? I've been taking my vitamins and that's about it, but as I have just been bragging about on the lose 7lbs thread, I have stuck to a mfp 1200 ish calorie per day diet for three whole days!! Three days!! It's unprecedented. And I had a bikini wax today. All excellent work. Erratic and thus far inconsistent, but excellent these last few days Grin Grin Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/11/2015 21:48

Six week tomorrow till Christmas Eve y'know Grin

I did buy my new bra Grin but haven't worn it yet Hmm

Did a clothes cull (Charity Shop/Attic in Space Saver bags)

All these blinking adverts now for Christmas food ........................... I'm seeing the dietician next week so I'm hoping I can alter my very restricted diet a bit.
I think the wheat is more an issue than the dairy , but I'm ok with very minimal dairy that's much easier to give up. I would love to eat a slice of freshly toasted thick white Greggs bloomer bread and honey, but I think it'll be a bad idea.
Christmas Cake and Sainsbury Mince Pies............

AWONI · 12/11/2015 09:32

6 weeks??!! Shock

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/11/2015 21:49

Bumping this back up (in 5 weeks we'll be looking forward to Christmas Eve)

I need to fit in 2 haircuts and 2 dye or 1 dye/1 highlight if I get it done this week then in another 4 weeks? (My hair goes from "Mmm ok" to "Arggh" overnight if it goes 6 weeks)

or:

grin'n'bear it for another week or so, then have my haircut really short so it'll have grown a bit by Christmas.
Easier to highlight when it's longer though................

Planning to buy the in shower moisturising wash in Aldi this week (we have a new Aldi , 5 minutes walk. )

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/11/2015 22:37

Bumping:

so pleased with my New Bra that I bought two more new bras (a bit more matronly though, the new one has quite thin straps, not good . Got thicker straps and three hooks on the fastener, keep it all in order)

Bought a new night cream, going to try that. (Soap&Glory new one)

Wore my new jeans Grin. Bit weird after leggings/jeggings and I couldn't bear anything on my abdomen.

I'm a bit concerned about undoing all my good work over Christmas though...............

foolssilver · 23/11/2015 18:29

Very late but can I join you please? I mostly lurked on previous threads but they helped my terrible motivation.

So my lists is

  1. Skincare regime every morning and night.
  1. Gym at least 3 times a week (this will be tough!)
  1. Cut out fizzy drinks. If I need a fizzy fox it will need to be water.

Extra focus on those 3 but the rest are

  1. Eat healthily and aim to lose a 6lbs by Christmas.
  1. Sort out my wardrobe
  1. Start planning outfits the night before (5 should help with that)
  1. Wear jewellery more often
  1. Body lotion every morning.

That should be enough to start with!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/11/2015 19:04

It's thirty days now...............

When it was 100 days we all thought Mehh , loads of Time.

Now...................., it all seems so close

foolssilver · 24/11/2015 20:37

30 days! Oh my I really need to get myself organised.

Had an ok day today despite a toddler who was awake until midnight last night.

Skincare routine done.

No fizzy drinks but didn't make the gym as work was so busy. Definitely going lunchtime tomorrow.

AWONI · 24/11/2015 21:46

Oh crap... I've had two glasses of wine for my tea. Starting again tomorrow. My top three:

  1. stick to diet
  2. do some Davina dvd every day. It makes me feel wonderful. I don't know why I don't want to do it. I'll have to make do with making myself do it and enjoying the strong/smug feeling afterwards
  3. pamper night once a week to deal with nails/leg hair/head hair/eyebrow hair... It's mainly hair that's the issue isn't it?!

Anything else would be a massive bonus.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 25/11/2015 19:15

Got weighed today (not my scales, proper ones so I'm trusting them to be accurate) and I'm 10st 3lb Grin

I should break the back of 10st before Christmas .

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/11/2015 13:20
Grin

Hair dyed (and it had a bonus extra 15 minutes because my blardy DS was in the shower. ) So far........it hasn't snapped off in rage but I can carry off a crewcut to match my Bitchy Resting Face.

New jumper and new leggings on today (wearing my new clothes was one of my top 10)

Exfoliated (BodyShop Pink Grapefruit)
Face exfolliant/mask (M&S Thermal one)

Wearing new bra (one of my new new ones Grin ) What a difference !! They are where they should be not marching south.

You know we'll need a Post Christmas New Years Resolutions Thread........... mine will be 'chuck my bras out after 6 months' , I do the mascara/3 months rule so it can work on the bras too.

mowglik · 28/11/2015 14:58

Hi all - not checked in for a while. Fell off Princessing bandwagon a bit - forgot a few sessions of lumea and got fed up of my diet. Only a month to go so am back on it now!

So far I'm back on my diet, have 3kg to go. Am doing my fifth lumea session tomorrow.

On the positive side I have been wearing my jewellery more often, and more of the clothes that normally stay buried or hidden in the wardrobe. I need to do a cull though I think that is something to think about for New Years.

Onwards and upwards less than a month to go now!

Karcheer · 29/11/2015 10:24

Hi ladies,
Can I rejoin?
We are having an extension built and I've stopped exercising, eating complete rubbish, wearing primarily dust and concrete...

I've a birthday coming soon, and obviously christmas, but hoping this'll role onto a New Years resolution.

My list is :

  1. exercise mix of gym, running and yoga (going to try 6 days a week) - I'm a whole or nothing type of person.
  2. eat clean, 5 meals a day
  3. buy some new clothes.

Will add to this, but this get me started!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 01/12/2015 23:29

Soooooooooooo

it's December 1st
we're on the home straits now Princessers

I'm going to plan having my hair cut this week then that is out of the way before I get too busy.

Apart from that, still ploughing on.

The Soap & Glory "Speed Plump" night cream is rather nice. Bubbly, orangey ,light .

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/12/2015 09:48

Twenty Days Now

peers over the top of my horn rimmed spectacles

I'm planning:
haircut
wax pits
epilate legs
bit of faux tan

my nails are snapping like glass ( I wear vinyl gloves at work and have to do 40+ handwashes per day at work) so they don't thrive. They might have enough length to paint but I doubt it.
I did consider falsies over Christmas but they'd feel weird.

bought some new underwear (Grin and I'll throw out the stuff that is scruffy)

need to do something about my eyebrows (like flipping grow some Hmm ) but I'll make do with some crafy dye and brow pen tricks

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/12/2015 12:41

15 days................................ eek!

Are we on the home straits now?
Are the 10 Steps being adhered to? (I would have to check mine but I reckon I'm doing most of them)

My hair is lush at the moment ( self praise is no honour ) I dragged my huge bottle of Philip Kingsley Elastisicer out of the cupboard, applied and faffed about a while before shampooing off. This was on Saturday, it still feels nice.

It's cropped so I'll get some dye for a last minute re-dye.
I need some new moisturiser (I have two Aldi derums standing upside down to get the dregs out). I've got night cream, need the daystuff.

Still doing ok weightwise, I haven't got to my 10 stone yet but not far off.

Xmas Grin
NeededANameChangeAnyway · 09/12/2015 12:46

This seems like my sort of thread! I'm just marking place so I can read it all properly after work.

I'd like to put my three things as being:

  1. Use the scary hair rremover laser thing
  2. Moisturise
  3. Do something with my hair

I have a further million things which I think may help but will be too much pressure if I list them all!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/12/2015 19:36

Ok Dokey................

I bought some Boots Botanicals Moisturiser ( it was half price, it'll tide me over till I get some nice stuff like No7 or Philosophy to DH )

I got a jumper ...........not Christmas per se but glittery sequinny in dark green so festive, and I can wear with nice leggings (I have some black brocade ones) and Christmas earrings, red lippie.

When I finish work, I have some really busy days ahead ( travelling, appointments and sorting the house for Christmas) but my poor hands can have some TLC and if I paint the OPI on every day I might have nails that I can paint for Christmas Day. (I thought about false nails but they would feel weirdy)

I wore my new boots Grin

I am going to have a scour through my wardrobe again to cull.

Everything (hopefully) is coming together......................
