100 days to go. Do you have your list ready?? Have you decided on your top 3 priorities? (remember you can have less or more and you can swap them around after a certain amount of time if you want)

Ok then...

GO GO GO!

Wings13 · 17/09/2015 11:48

Ok - back now. Interview over, waiting game now!

Top three:

  1. lose 1 stone at least by Christmas
  2. Skin - is a mess at the moment,
  3. go to gym at least twice a week and try and walk somewhere every day.

Others are:

  1. buy only clothes that I really like and suit me.
  2. no wine during the week!
  3. improve skincare routine - kind of started this already but really need to up the ante
  4. Be more organised with clothes and plan what I wear so I don't go out looking like Worzel Gummidge

Am sure I will think of more but that's it for now! Not really princessing as such but also need to get a job so I can afford the nice clothes and make up etc!

98 days to go

Thought I'd already posted today but obviously not!

Keep up the good work everyone. I'm doing well with my 3 priorities but terribly with everything else (I'm also having the heaviest period of my life - first one after miscarriage) so I'm eating chocolate constantly. This is why I love the top 3 idea - I don't feel like I'm failing already once I do those.

Could someone double check my days to Christmas count?? DH just said its 99 days to go and yesterday I saw a pic on Instagram saying itwas 100 days to go.

My app is saying 98 and over on the Christmas board they're saying 98.

Flowers Helga

Not long got up and downed a glass of water with lemon straight away

Going to book in to have my eyebrows done properly today.

Need to decide what to have for breakfast. I usually have a bagel but at 50g carb per bagel, need to rethink what I'm eating.

Will put a squirt of my favourite Michael Kors perfume on when I'm showered and dressed.

Dp due a bonus from work in the next couple of weeks, started a little shopping list for decent skin care products and make up.

MyFriendsCallMeOh · 18/09/2015 01:30

Not doing too badly here, managed vitamins, water, eyebrow threading yesterday and haircut today (presenting for work on Saturday), body cream after showering today.

I have a 28 day skin treatment from Occitane that arrived today so will start that tonight.

Not doing great on the controlled food front but am loving taking better care of myself.

Chicinwellies · 18/09/2015 09:44

Me too!

  1. eat less
  2. exercise more
  3. ignore all other diet fads / gadgets, it all boils down to one and two!
Helgathehairy · 18/09/2015 10:23

97 days to go

I need coffee!

OP posts:
Helenagrace · 18/09/2015 12:03

Sorry to hear your news Helga. Take it easy.

Lost another 2lb so 6 in total now. Didn't manage to get to hockey practice this week but just got back from Zumba. Capping caffeine to 3 or 4 drinks a day is going better than I thought it would. Need to drink more water though still although I'm doing really well on the late nights.

Top 3 are going well. Proper princessing will start Monday.

Sorry to hear your sad news, Helga Flowers. Be kind to yourself and don't try to take on too much. Have all the chocolate you want.

Doilooklikeatourist · 20/09/2015 08:40

Flowers Helga
I'm starting now ( fanfare )
Oldie here , 2 DC have now been taken to uni so I will have some time to think about me again ( hurrah ) oh .. And DH
So my 3 new priorities are

Nail care ( hands and feet )
Lots more fruit and veg
Moisturise , moisturise , moisturise everywhere ... Getting a bit crepey

After following previous threads I do now make appointments for haircuts and beauty salon treatments

Need to lose weight ' I think it's about 14 weeks til Christmas , so hopefully a stone

3 new regimes to see me through the first 3 weeks :)

Allgunsblazing · 20/09/2015 09:11

Morning. About to go for a run, just finishing my coffee.
I've MFPd this whole week, I'll weigh myself after the run.
I have ordered some retin a from medik8. I've applied some last night (I was quite worried. It's something like 0.3% and they've been recommending to start at 0.025 (the face threads that is). Pleased to report nada has happened. I put some almond oil afterwards, maybe it neutralised it? Or my face is sooo dry, battered and dehydrated it resembles a 15 years old sole. Dunno. But I'm not red, flakey etc. )

Been taking my vitamins. 5 of them. Vit D, zinc, cod liver oil, evening primrose and some glucosamide.
Got some early nights and I started a book.
I got the slimming world books and I'm starting today. I'll cheat though, I made the most amazing apple and blackberry crumble and it'll be stupid not to eat it. All fresh fruit and not masses of crumble. Little sugar too. There, my excuses are very very valid.
Manicure and pedicure today!

Helgathehairy · 20/09/2015 09:53

95 days to go

So tomorrow it's 30 days till I go to New York and I have the 30 day shred sitting on my bookcase. The most I've done before is 10 days and that included taking the weekend off! But I'm going to try it (again).

Also this week going to start drinking water and cut down on caffeine.

missmakesstuff · 20/09/2015 10:31

I'm in! I've really started to notice my age catching up with me after ds born in April. and turning 38 this year...I'm back at work in Jan and really want to look and feel my best.
My 10 things are

  1. drink more water - at least my water bottle empty every day
  2. get off the phone and fb during feeds and cuddling ds to sleep and start reading instead.
  3. lose a lb a week through cutting down on biscuits and other crap
  4. walk, swim or run for 30 min every day. Maybe even shred if I can ever get ds to sleep for 30 mins in one go...
  5. carry on using retin a 3 times a week.
  6. try and mix up what we eat during the week so we are eating more veg and less boring stuff, especially as we start blw.
  7. dress a bit better. I've been doing Marie kondo decluttering and am now down to clothes that I love, I just need to think of other ways to wear them.
  8. whiten my teeth, use coconut oil to oil pull daily
  9. wear makeup every day
  10. get out more, meet people, smile! I have a tendency to be a bit of a homebody and need to stop being a recluse.. I know some of those aren't outward appearance related but I'm feeling like I need to spend some time focused on myself, I need to get some good habits going now before I'm back at work and it just becomes survival...
HeffalumpsnWoozles · 20/09/2015 11:43

Eek I'm late, ok so top 3 are;

Use Nip + Fab Glycolic daily after Sonicare brushing
Continue electrocuting face with Rio thingy
Start tracking food on WW now birthday is over, want to shed a stone by Christmas.

I have a huge list! But skin care and weightloss are priorities as both are dire!

Wings13 · 20/09/2015 13:06

Had a drama trying to log on for the last couple of days as locked myself out of my account but back now.

So sorry Helga.

Haven't been so good this weekend and am out for dinner later so not going to be good. Decided to just forget about today and enjoy it. Did go for a 4km walk today though so that is something. Am also meal planning for the week so trying to incorporate my goals into that!

Why is it so hard to be good?? :(

ZippyLongstocking · 20/09/2015 17:06

Please can I join?
This is my first post. I had a baby 6 weeks ago & since then eating rubbish & skin has gone all dry & itchy have been moisturizing.
Have a fitbit so aiming to get out & about.

So my top three are
Moisturize face & body daily
Proper meals & healthy snacks
Go out walking everyday (not sure how many steps to aim for to start with, any ideas?)

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 20/09/2015 18:12

Zippy
the aim is 10,000 steps.
average person walks 6,000

10,000 is do-able .
One advantage of a new baby is the lovely huge pram that you can shove all the shopping in the basket of and take them out.

(I walked miles with my PFB, it was the only way to get him to sleep. He was better tempered after a good 2 hour sleep in the pram, I got excercise but came home jiggered. [sigh] Those were the days Smile .)
Enjoy those new baby days even if you don't have time to pee somedays

Helgathehairy · 20/09/2015 22:42

zippy awww - new baby. When I started the prep thread 2 years ago I had a 2 week old. DD had reflux so was in the sling and like 70 said I walked lots! But she woke the minute I stopped! We used to walk in fields with the dog and there was one memorable day where he rolled in fox shit and I had to bath him the second I got home. It was the ONLY time DD slept in her cot!

Fun times!

OP posts:
mayum1 · 20/09/2015 22:46

Top 3:

  1. Get down to normal BMI - minimum 20 lbs / 9kg to go
  2. Start walking/running
  3. Not be lazy with skincare
HairsprayQueen · 21/09/2015 07:31

I had a stupid weekend.

Back to it today and no thinking I'll make it up the next day, I have to be on it everyday otherwise there is no point in making these plans for 100 days.
