Sorry for being MIA last week. I'm not sure why - I think it's related to my cycle - but I felt very blue. I've never been diagnosed with depression so it's not that severe but I just had no energy or motivation for anything.
Today I'm sick - started throwing up at 2am every 20/30 minutes. Not sure what it is - DD threw up yesterday but was fine otherwise. Or I had a defrosted chicken curry for dinner (m&s, not homemade)

helga sorry you're feeling blue and sick. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Ok ish day for me, had a healthy breakfast and morning snack, dreadful lunch, and just carrots, celery and almond butter for dinner as I was still stuffed from lunch.
I did 30mins of circuits and a 45min jog today, on the upside.
Remembered to floss and mouthwash last night.
Feeling less full of cold today so forging fwd tmr with princessing and cleaning, as the house is a tip as I've felt to ill to be bothered!

Allgunsblazing · 06/10/2015 21:33

Just had a very nice and hot bath with salts etc. Scrubbed the life out of me. Then forgot to moisturise.
I have also forgotten to take my vitamins today.
But, since tomorrow is another day, I shall go for a run and then shower and moisturise, then take my vitamins with a pint of water and lemon.
My eating has been atrocious. Been juggling too much stuff and grabbing food at random. Not always wise choices either.
Hmmm....

Allgunsblazing · 06/10/2015 21:34

Ps. Hope everybody is feeling better :)

I am going to read about all the great things you have been doing since the processing began....then I shall kick myself up the arse!

Gained a further 2lb since this began (mine and OH's birthdays)
Not touched the self tan, not exercised at all, not painted nails.

I have however been using glycolic religiously & one of my damned wrinkles looks more noticeable?? Hair is being well conditioned but that's as good as it has been.

Just too tired after long days at work to faff about, however this weekend I plan to use the Lumea, sort out my nails and do a healthy food shop.

I'm going to look worse not better by Christmas at this rate Blush

Helgathehairy · 09/10/2015 14:45

heffalump I'm right there with you. I haven't been doing well at all. Do you have a 'top 3' (even easy stuff like brush teeth, shower, put on deodorant) so you can feel you achieved something?

I'm starting to pull out of whatever funk hit me. I've realised it happens every year when it starts getting darker in the evening. It's not SAD because it only lasts a few weeks but it's strange.

Next 2 weeks going to be a bit hectic trying to get stuff sorted before we go on hols. But I'm going to hang on in there.

helga I think you could be onto something with the darker evenings, it's dark when I leave for work in the mornings now too. Good to hear you're in the up now though & I hope you have a fantastic holiday.

My top 3 are diet, quitting smoking and skin care. Hope if I persevere with the glycolic the wrinkle will slink away Grin

Quitting the fags and eating better should give me the energy to tackle other areas...or that's the theory.

Helgathehairy · 10/10/2015 17:09

Back from the hairdresser. Just got a trim and my fringe cut back in and I've gone a deep wine black! I love it. I haven't done anything other than dark brown (my natural colour) for so long it's great to have a change. Although DH has said I look like the college Lily from how I met your mother!

I've been ver' ver' busy this week , so my Princessing has taken a back seat.

Aim to get my haircut tomorrow if possible, so a bath tonight and hair mask will be in order.
Weigh tomorrow too.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/10/2015 22:18

Bumping this back up, we have work to do Grin
Princessing doesn't sound like work but it is!

Good news- I have lost just under a stone since I started LowFodmap in late June (don't know what this is in the Princessing Period) I was 11.7 at the end of June, I'm now 10.8.

My waist has gone from 38" to 34" .

LowFodmap isn't a "diet" as in weightloss (it's for IBS- I have Diverticular Disease) but the loss of lbs and inches is a welcome bonus (but flipping tedious eating matter sadly)

I haven't managed to get my haircut but I will try to on Wednesday.
I might wear my new jeans Grin (That's another on the list - Wear The Clothes I Have, not just the old scruffy faithfulls)

Morning all, and apologies for my absence. I too have been really busy but I'm back on it.

Had my gel nails redone on Saturday, and also my eyelashes tinted. I think the lashes work well for looking a bit more groomed, as I don't really wear makeup. I have been putting on a little bit of tinted moisturiser though, andy and bought a new one to I'll continue. It at least covers my dark shadows!

Food and exercise have been terrible but I've now bought a fit bit which I think will help me make better choices. Watch this space! I would love to hear how everyone else is getting on...

Helenagrace · 13/10/2015 10:41

My new skincare regime is going really well and my skin feels lovely. I've kept up the exercise and I'm trying to find ways to add extra walking into my day as my job is desk based and I work from home so my trip to get a coffee takes about 20 steps and that's pretty much it!

Still crap at drinking water!

Helgathehairy · 17/10/2015 15:36

Hello, I'm still around! (More or less!)

Had my smear test on Thursday so that's crossed off my list. Have an appointment on Tuesday to get my eyebrows waxed and gellish nails done before I go.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/10/2015 10:26

I had my hair cut last week so it's tidy, (need to dye again soon though Hmm might wait till half term week, I can get DD to help)

Using a serum from Aldi (dark red bottle, the serum is golden colour)

Bodyscrub once a week (lazy) using Soap&Glory Pulp Friction at the moment.

Bought some nice dark navy cordy jeggings (M&S) so I will those today Grin

Allgunsblazing · 18/10/2015 12:14

Hello!
Is it just me or one of a sudden it's getting really busy, too much to do, too little time?!
I am going to have a bath in a minute, soak properly etc. Been for a run too, which was nice.
I am going to re start doing DVD s in the mornings now since it is too dark to run early in the morning ( I live rurally).
I'm off on holiday soon, so I really must do my pedicure properly.
Hope you are all well.

Methenyouplus4 · 18/10/2015 12:32

Can I join? My three aims this month are: do more (as in, more than zero!) exercis, drink more water and not to binge (I tend to eat pretty well 90% of time and then randomly eat 4 chocolate bars when I don't even really want or enjoy them).

Things i'm doing well at so far is painting nails once a week (with midwk top up of chipped ends) and applying Dove gradual tanner each day.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/10/2015 13:37

Bumping - we're slipping down the pages.

I'm still ploughing on with my main 3 (which on the theory if you do for 21 days becomes a habit , yes)

Still need to get bras but I really CBA trekking to London so I might try John Lewis .

I will have my flu jab and a blood test next week, working a couple of days , off some of the week for Half Term.
DC have appointments.
DH and I are going to the theatre so I can wear my new cape Grin

Need to do the scrub/wax/hairdye/highlights (Gosh it's like running to keep still Shock )

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/11/2015 18:36

C'mon we're nearly half way there (it'll be 50 Days on Wednesday)

i am SOOOOO behind with the Princessing (been busy)

I really need to get new underwear (mine is so old, I cannot remember )

Need to dye my hair (it looked okay last week so I thought Meh wait a while)

Need to do a major wax session - Joy

bangbangprettypretty · 02/11/2015 18:55

Gosh I need this SO much!

My three priorities will be:
Sort my nails out so they are always painted
Take vitamin D
Keep eating healthily to nourish my skin!

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 02/11/2015 19:07

Since joining the Facebook group Mrs Gloss that was recommended on S&B princessing has gone into overdrive.

Sorted out make up and skin care, reorganised everything and ditched the things I don't or won't use.

Hair getting weekly deep conditioning, nails painted & diet restarted. Even lost 3lbs this week, so now just waiting for the slump and it all goes to pot again! Oh and have quit smoking with the aid of the ecig and peanut butter juice two birds one stone fooling my brain into thinking I'm having something sweet Grin
