If I see those IM trousers I'll try them on lara but the model in the MyTheresa picture has a saggy bottom in them and that's a look that I'm trying to avoid.

queenc I had never heard of that brand until I saw them on shoescribe. Maybe put them on your sales wishlist as they tend to have good sales.

My OOTD is so boring I won't even describe it but I think tomorrow I'll crack out the opaques and wear a skirt or dress. Only 5 degrees here this morning. Brrr!

Agh I thought I didn't need to buy anything for a while now but suddenly I 'need' stans and a coatigan!
Although I too have a November birthday so could always get them as a present!

Stokey my Boden coatigan still hasn't arrived (the sized down replacement) so can't comment BUT, I have tried on many, many coatigans over the last few weeks and that was my favourite so I have high hopes for it. I got it with the discount and a voucher so spent less than £100.

Having worn my AR wide-leg trousers to death this summer, I am intending on jumping on the bandwagon with Shop and Bernice* and ordering some for winter - whilst skinnies are great, I definitely need a change sometimes.

I have been wearing my flares with the Ash platform trainers this week and a variety of tops - my new favourite outfit I think especially as I have been getting a few compliments. Lib love that a stylish french lady complimented you.

Just popping in with a random question. What's anyone's thoughts on burgundy shoes? And what colour handbag would you use? ( I like to be a bit matchy matchy which is why I struggle with shoes)

Hello, long time no post. Laptop was playing up along with iPad so went on a technology sulk and abandoned both for a week. Both are now working so am back. Was getting really cross when I couldn't open links and laptop/Ipad were crashing, grrr so stayed away.

Am meting a friend in town later today so will pop into JCrew, B Republic, Uniqlo and Selfridges. Then out for dinner later.

QueenC I'd quite like burgundy shoes, well boots to be exact, funnily enough I was think about a pair of burgundy shoes I wore to school many years ago, don't let that put you off, they were de rigour at the time not sure about having a matching bag, would opt for navy or tan perhaps, depending on the rest of your outfit.

Fedup oh my eyes, those "shoes" haven't really opened up many links apart from the Burberry cashmere trench, oh wow, I love it, love it, love it.

After having said that I couldn't wear trainers I'm going to try these on today to see if they suit me. What style jeans do I wear with them? I can imagine skinnies not looking too great with them

Anyone is watching the affair? It has glowing reviews, but I lost interest after about 20 minutes, It was painful to watch after that, so wooden,and passive actually, does it get better?

I'm suffering with good tv shows, now that mad men is over,and I just finished watching house of cards ,I don't know what to do, nothing is as interesting,

God I loved the affair. The themes were so subtle and the narrative device of their differing perspectives was excellent. If anything I thought it started great and then wobbled a bit. Can't wait for the second series. And Dominic West.

I have burgundy rockstuds and burgundy heels - wear them with black or navy bags. I think matching shoes and bags can be a bit 'day at the races'.

I got them from Zalando shop there was a £10 off code free delivery and cashback through top cashback so worked out quite well. I just hope they will fit as I am not sure re sizing.
I remembered I forgot to report back on the Uniqlo Lemaire navy polo neck
this one I wanted a looser fit so went for the L. I love the colour it is a proper dark almost black navy. I need to properly try on but think I will probably keep it, a navy cashmere jumper has been on my wishlist for ages.

I do match sometimes queen, I have a celine burgundy bag and I sometimes match it with burgundy rockstuds or with lanvin burgundy boots, and it looks ok,

Lara I've not watched The Affair but just finished watching Dr Foster on bbc, also about an affair. Really enjoyed it and just a few episodes so not like investing in something seasons long.
