My iPad has an aversion to opening links today so will catch up on the pc later.

I did however manage to eventually open a couple of yours Blingy - love the wrap bracelet.

Lib your outfit yesterday sounded lovely, really stylish. You weren't too sure about it initially but did you feel right in it by the end of the day? I got notice yesterday of a speeding offence - am hoping I can do the course too so I don't get the points. to add to the ones I already have

Hmm, tracksuits, not a good look for me - shudders remembering the shell suit look of the 80's. I'd look like Vicky Pollard's less stylish sister Grin

I do have yoga pants I wear around the house and hoodies I will wear with jeans but not the two together in public - unless I'm actually going to a class that is!

I have a love/hate relationship with my scales so try not to weigh myself too often. I am trying to drop some lbs atm but have have only lost 3lbs in 2 weeks Sad

QueenCardi · 04/10/2015 11:06

for blair

QueenCardi · 04/10/2015 11:08

for amber

AmberNectarine · 04/10/2015 12:13

I've pinned that Wang dress QC, I love it! Love the HLs as well - have always wanted one of those, whenever I've tried one I've found it super flattering.

At cinema with DCs - OOTD is frye studded cowboy boots, gap true res distressed skinnies (need to buy more of these as all the ones I have are too big now), warehouse leopard jumper, burgundy whistles biker and Chanel WOC.

I realise I'm a bit OCD about my weight, long term issue! Am finding I don't have much time to eat being back at work and am looking a bit bony in the upper half (no such issues below the waist!) - need to put a bit back on - if only I could just redistribute it from my arse!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/10/2015 12:48

Morning! Great links as usual QueenC, love the "for everyone" Grin

The coat has reminded me: I pinned this Burberry one ages ago and always thought it would suit me (before I got distracted with wrap coats). But it used to be £695 and now it's £795?! I hate how they do that.

Amber you need the opposite of what the Kardashians (supposedly) do Wink but seriously, hope you can find a way to make time for lunch.

justasecond · 04/10/2015 13:09

I don't weigh myself very often maybe a couple of times a year. I can tell by how my clothes fit and looking in the mirror and that motivates me to stop eating crap and exercise a bit if I need to. My problem area is my face I can start looking chipmunkish very easily.
Like that coat blair v different in style to the one you ordered. I have 2 camel coats both from zara one is a double breasted tailored style and the other the ubiquitous wrap one they did last year that every blogger under the sun seemed to have. It is a little big on me so might see if I can have it taken in a bit this year.
Still looking for trainers not sure whether to go for a runner style or stan smith type. I am thinking black as I would like to be able to wear socks with and not look tragic. I ordered these to see what they are like www.whistles.com/women/shoes/shoes/koki-modern-lace-up-trainer-20554.htmle

justasecond · 04/10/2015 14:24

love these www.matchesfashion.com/products/Jil-Sander-Low-top-leather-trainers-1024824 would look good with black and navy but too ££ for me. I think they are the ones used in the october me and em catalogue?

Doobigetta · 04/10/2015 15:05

Afternoon all, is this the place for canvassing opinions on questions that don't need a whole thread? I want to know about printed/textured jeans. I have a pair from about two seasons ago. They are skinny, mid grey, with a darker grey kind of leafy, scrolly, slightly raised pattern on them. Will I get another season out of them, or is that kind of thing now over?

libertydoddle · 04/10/2015 16:11

Welcome Doobigetta. I haven't seen many jeans like you describe around but they sound nice. How would you plan to style them?

QueenC I love that VS dress, have pinned - one for the sales though.

Thanks for all the feedback on yesterday's outfit. Fedup I was happy with it. After the course I went into Kensington to meet DH and DD, we went to a nice bar/restaurant for an early dinner and then to meet some old friends of DH's who I have never met before (half of NZ is over for the rugby) and I felt confident, like I looked good without being try hard. Next time I wear it I'll try to take a picture. The speed course was actually good, not patronising at all, more like a really good highway code refresher. I think they should probably make everyone do it every 10 years or so.

Dry I was wearing the R&B boots today and met a friend for lunch who immediately asked me if it was ok if she bought them too. She has just texted to say she has ordered online already Grin

Doobigetta · 04/10/2015 16:35

Thanks, liberty. Last year I mostly wore them for nights out, with silk or chiffon type tops- I've got a couple in navy and burgundy that worked well- and mid-calf heeled boots.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/10/2015 18:27

Hi Doobigetta :) I think if something still makes you feel good when you wear it, then it doesn't matter if trends have moved on a bit. Sounds like they've been really versatile for you and the outfits sound great.

I too am a sheep... think I want some chelsea boots now. I think I will get black though, as I want to be able to wear them with tights. I don't own any flat boots at the moment so need something!

libertydoddle · 04/10/2015 18:56

Wise words Blair. It sounds like you should stick with them doobigetta Smile

More sheep like shoe buying - after seeing them on Eve on the Worn Out blog I have just ordered these green Nikes off to check credit card statement

I think I have enough clothes famous last words. I really want some gold jewellery. I love this necklace that Blingy suggested for me ages ago and I have worn it a lot but it's turning black and itching my neck now. Any idea where I would get something similar in real gold without being too £££? Also I know a few people (Amber?) have Alex Munroe jewellery. Does the gold plating wear off his stuff or does it stay looking good? I'd like to get one long necklace like the Accessorise oneand one shorter one with a nice pendant (I like girly jewellery, heart shapes are a big favourite with me). I really like the Alex Munroe dragonfly too.

libertydoddle · 04/10/2015 19:09

OMG I love this but about £2k over what I probably would spend Grin

Forgot to answer trackies question - I got these recently and have worn them rolled up to ankle to the playground, kids parties, food shopping etc with leopard print loafers and my knitted biker. I think they look ok but wouldn't wear them to go out for lunch or to the pub.

AmberNectarine · 04/10/2015 19:19

My Alex Monroe necklace is immaculate after 2y. Another jewellery designer I really like, in a similar vein, is Bill Skinner.

libertydoddle · 04/10/2015 19:27

Thanks Amber Smile

Drywhitethanks · 04/10/2015 19:33

Liberty I'd love a real gold pendant necklace, like you I do gold more than silver, although lik to mix them. "Fake" gold always goes black on me eventually. Will be interested to see what you find. I like Monica Vinader necklaces, you can personalise them. Also dpfan of A Monroe bee.

Amber I'm a pear, when I loose weight it goes off my top half too, would love to put some of my bittom on my boobs Grin

Went out for lunch --straight from gym, instructor's face was Shock only ever seen me in trainers and sweaty sweaty Betty[ grin]- OOTD:

Paige Jimmies skinny jeans turned up
Aquazurra type black heels with laces
Mint Velvet black silk and lace top
M Dutti camel coat
Burberry Cashmere scarf thanks Shop
Gucci disco hobo in black

Felt good.

QueenC loving my links

FedupNagging · 04/10/2015 20:13

Have caught up on links - Justa I can't open your whistles one though. The Jil Sander trainers are such a gorgeous colour.

Lib so pleased you were happy with yesterdays outfit. Love the Tiffany necklace but the accessorize one is pretty too.

I can see you in both the 2 Burberry coats linked earlier Blair but they are both so £££.

Talking of tracksuits, I saw a very attractive lady step out of a very smart vehicle wearing.........a pink velour tracksuit; I kid you not, in Waitrose car park Shock. Wonder if she has been reading this thread Wink

QueenCardi · 04/10/2015 20:41

There's some lovely necklaces here. I've always loved the origami ones. I've been thinkng about getting a new necklace too just because I haven't had new jewellery for a while. I'd also like some new earrings as during a play fight with dh he managed to accidently pull my earring and the hole ripped slightly. I can now only wear really light earrings as otherwise it will rip fully and I have to be careful with studs as the hole is bigger than them.

Popped to the shops today as dd had money burning a hole in her pocket. She bought crap in Claire's whilst I manged to get my navy sweat top from gap in grey very cheaply in the sale and also another navy jumper which is hugely unexciting and will only be used as loungewear.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/10/2015 20:41

I know fedup - too much £££ I think. :(

Lib I really rate the Z for Accessorize gold range. I think it's just plated but the items I have have worn really well over the last year. There are some beautiful pieces.

Dry fabulous outfit!

Doobigetta · 04/10/2015 20:48

Thanks all, sounds like a yes to the jeans. Hurrah!

I love that Bill Skinner jewellery. Really pretty.

Longislandicetee · 04/10/2015 21:11

Hello! Loved this mornings links QueenC, not quite sure I am up for a tickler though!Grin

Lib have to agree with everyone your outfit sounded soooo lovely yesterday. Glad you had a good time wearing it. Funny that you are saying you are in the market for new jewelry because have also be looking at getting the gold version of that necklace plus a couple of other Accessorize necklaces I got this weekend. I love Accessorize for being a cheaper way of trying out something new before making an expensive mistake. I am currently crushing on this Tiffany interlocking circles pendant

We went to a party yesterday and I wore this Roland Mouret For Banana Republic dress (in my mind one of the best ever collaborations as they are high quality versions of the originals) with my new sparkly shoes. Looks odd combo but it worked well.

Printed jeans - not sure they are current for this season though I really want them to be as I missed the trend!

Stokey · 05/10/2015 10:53

Your link reminded me I have a RM for BR dress I've never worn Blingy Blush. I got it just before I got made redundant & just haven't had anything to wear it to. Maybe I should sell it.

I'm sending back the Asos coatigan. The size 4 is still huge on me, the only place it feels tighter is round the neck. How's your Boden one Fedup? I'm thinking about getting that too, but at over £100 is a bit on the pricey side.

Loved the jewellery links last night, I showed Dh the Bill Skinner planet necklace & he told me to get it, he's feeling guilty for not bringing me back anything from the states.

I think that Burberry coat would look great on you Blair, and it is a classic. Could you get to Regent's St and try it?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/10/2015 11:08

Morning! We nearly slipped off page 1 Shock

Whistles delivery (jacket) has arrived. Will open later.

Blingy I still really wish I had got something from the RM collab!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/10/2015 11:09

Stokey yes I could, this Saturday Grin

QueenCardi · 05/10/2015 11:24

That's lovely blingy, ive got this one. It's great because rose gold doesn't suit me but this is fine mixed in with silver.
I meant to catch up properly last night but ended up falling asleep after my last post!
doob if you like the jeans deginitely keep them. And do stick around.
stokey shame about the coatigan. Utterly ridiculous sizing.
