There's a chill in the air as we head towards Autumn. Some of us may have jetted off to sunnier spots, some of us are lounging on yachts (kind of) but we're still going strong 44 editions in. Come and join us for fun, friendly fashion and beauty chat. All welcome, any budget. :)

Gone again for me. Now i am freaking out that I have a virus or something.

justasecond · 10/09/2014 22:07

I can't see it either Lib
Your trousers sound great. I would like to wear more trousers rather than jeans this winter but quite hard to find ones that can be dressed down to not look like workwear. I quite like the jumper, trousers and trainers look, not groundbreaking but at least its a change.

OneLittleLady · 10/09/2014 22:13

liberty other people have been complaining of similar mysterious links all day on MN, it's not just you!

libertychick · 10/09/2014 22:15

Have you looked at Cos for trousers Justa. I am hoping to get in there tomorrow and I'd like to try these ones.

libertychick · 10/09/2014 22:15

Thanks One. It freaked me out so good to know it's not just me.

Fedupnagging · 10/09/2014 22:23

Besides Lib, is anyone having trouble with mn tonight? Have been trying to post on and off for a couple of hours but it just kept getting stuck.

Anyway, welcome back Justa and Blair. Glad you had a good time in France.

Lovely mulberry bag Justa

Dry hope you find a skirt and yes, that LKB one is a bit overpriced.

Novice, glad ds seems to be settling down now and hope your schedule eases up soon.

shopafrolic · 11/09/2014 07:58

Morning all - justa I really rate GAP chinos as a casual alternative to jeans. The broken in straight are v flattering.
Lib I hope the technical issues are sorted
Dry keeping fingers crossed for the last skirt....
Marsha sorry for delayed response to PM Blush
Novice I hope it calms down soon my lovely
My tonsillitis is back so more antibiotics for me :(

And dum de dum. Oven has arrived, yes! Just need ekectrician (very nice guy, who has been ultra patient) and person to remove old one and we're in business.

MarshaBrady · 11/09/2014 08:17

Electrician - where's autocorrect when you need it

shopafrolic · 11/09/2014 09:03

Woop for the new oven.
Hope you're sorted soon too One
Have decided I'm going to keep my cream Whistles Lena jacket as it has just come in handy making me look smart when I clearly hasn't bothered this morning (no make up!)

Morning all

lib check site stuff, there's a few threads about the mystery links that have been popping up, you may find answers in there

Poor you Shop hope the anitbiotics work quickly, tonsillitis is horrible Thanks

Sleepwhenidie · 11/09/2014 10:23

Hi everyone Flowers for poorly Shop

Dry did you see this skirt at Uterque yet? Or too short perhaps - even allowing for v tall model?

bettykt · 11/09/2014 12:14

Stokey I have Pettys and Jalouse, I like them both equally, my Jalouse are black suede and the Pettys are tan suede. If I had to choose between then I'd say the Pettys are more versatile due to their plain style and as Justa

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 11/09/2014 12:14

Shop I hope you feel better soon. Brew

Dry I feel bad I can't get involved in the skirt hunt as I don't know where you've looked! Probably feels like everywhere. I had a look on a few high street shops but they didn't seem to have any pencil ones Confused It's annoying when this happens at the start of the season and the only ones around seem to be £££.

Hope all is going smoothly with oven-gate Marsha.

bettykt · 11/09/2014 12:18

Sleep is Uterque part od Zara? And are they trying to be a bit like Cos do you think? I really like snake skin shoes

Sleepwhenidie · 11/09/2014 12:59

Hi betty yes it's a sister label to Zara. I like those shoes too.

Stokey · 11/09/2014 14:16

Thanks Betty & Justa . I wear quite a lot of skirts and dresses (and skinnies) so want something I can wear with both. Will wait and see if either come up on sale - I need black too as want something I can wear for work.

It's Biba's 50th anniversary today. Farfetch have got a great collection of their vintage clothes. I love that era.

AmberNectarine · 11/09/2014 14:27

Those shoes are very like a pink pair I have from Office. They are Givenchy knock offs I believe!

QueenCardigan · 11/09/2014 14:36

Oh no shop, hope you feel better soon.

Popped into my favourite boutique and bought this navy blouse to add to my collection.

AmberNectarine · 11/09/2014 14:37

Be still, my beating heart.

QueenCardigan · 11/09/2014 14:45

I'm not a huge fan of the rockstuds too tough for me but even I think they look fab. I think I actually prefer the flats to the heels.

Meant to say that the boutique was advertising for part time staff. Very tempting actually as I love all the clothes in there but the pay presumably is low and wouldn't cover childcare costs in holidays. Probably involves weekend working too but I could definitely see myself working there.

shopafrolic · 11/09/2014 17:23

Lovely shoes Amber
