There's a chill in the air as we head towards Autumn. Some of us may have jetted off to sunnier spots, some of us are lounging on yachts (kind of) but we're still going strong 44 editions in. Come and join us for fun, friendly fashion and beauty chat. All welcome, any budget. :)

Great bag and shirt Justa

A question for those who have Pettys and Ash Jalouse. Which do you prefer? Are they an either or or do you need both?

Righto. Leather skirt up date. Suffice to say I'm not feeling too guilty about my Petty purchase last night because 3/4 are going back.
Karen Millen lovely skirt. Poly fabric nice and thick. But 10 too clingy, 12 too big Sad
French Connection obscene....serious flash potential. NOT for me
Atterley Road...huge on waist.
So.........can we have a collective crossing of fingers for this little number or it's back to the drawing board.Sad

Hello all, I'm back! Hope everyone is well. France was lovely, we had gorgeous weather and I'm well stocked up on bioderma, LRP and the most important thing -WINE! However I can't remember the last time I ate any veg and I feel all blobby, so for the next week (got a work do next thurs) I'm off carbs, sweet treats and alcohol.

I'm feeling slightly panicked as it seems autumn/winter is almost here and I don't feel ready! Also my wedding is now 7 months tomorrow...eek

shop so glad the weddings were good, you looked fab.
Amber you lucky thing, the rockstuds are amazing.
novice I love the Paraty, gorgeous colour
Dry fingers crossed on the skirt.
Awks welcome!
One not long to go until your enrollment, you'll be great!

So many other lovely purchases I can't recall, and loved the chats about style evolution and house decor.

Missed you all! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome back everyone Smile
Shop that shirt is gorgeous. I do miss A&W they used to have some lovely stuff. I have heard some of Jack wills stuff is a bit more A&W these days but have not had the guts to venture in there yet, it looks so dark and my eyesight it not what it used to be!
Dry sorry I missed you off, I see you are on a leather skirt quest! I do like the Asos one, hope it works for you otherwise the Hobbs one is lovely too, worth a try?
Stokey I think I prefer the pettys as the curved top of the jalouse just doesn't work for me as I only wear with skinnies and the curve looks better with dresses and skirts imo.

Thanks Marsha! :) Hi justa it has been ages! Dress shopping isn't happening until the start of next month as I have to wait for my sister's exams to be over (she knows my style the best - you guys are of course second best Wink)

Oh btw I can make all 3 of the suggested Xmas MU dates. But the 29th Nov is the least good for me as DP's birthday is the 27th.

Think Mara asked but v good news....Ds hasn't cried this week - hurray!

Oh - the Roland Mouret BR dresses are divine to wear!Smile

Hello justa and blair.
stokey love the sound of your yellow lounge and wish I could be more brave with colour. I'm going to try and avoid magnolia/cream/off white although dh likes it.

Really hot here today and my shoulders are slightly pink from being in the sun this afternoon. I want to wear my boots and cardigans godammit Grin

Hello Novice that's so sweet of you! I feel exhausted just reading about your schedule, I hope you can take some time out for yourself soon. I take it your little one (ds?) has started school/nursery? Ds has gone back to nursery and has started crying again after the long break for summer. He had only just stopped crying at drop offs at Easter after starting last Sept!
What colour paraty did you get? I do love that bag.

Welcome back justa. Smile Great shirt and I like those loafers a lot.

Love that JCrew shirt Amber and those sleeveless silk shirts look useful.

Shame about the skirts Dry. Fingers and toes crossed for the other option.

Welcome back Blair.

I got some work trousers in TKMaxx today - Steilman brand, just to the ankle, sort of a dark bluey grey with a diamond pattern. Can't find them to link. As others have said, lots of cashmere there. I resisted as I have ENOUGH knitwear. Saw the blue one with the green block that Mara got the other day - lovely!

Good news that DP is helping out with the oven One.
