Beauty products from your school days

The new loreal advert for hairspray got me thinking about my school days when Insette was the hairspray of choice. Hair never moved for weeks and you could practically snap it off. Vidal Sassoon that smelled like apples. Constant Carol that only did foundation in orange, oranger and orangist. Care to add yours

Still using it - Maybelline great lash mascara.

I also used to use a face cream/cleanser/moisturiser that came in a round flat pink container (like nivea but nivea was blue) but buggered if I can remember what it was called.

Blue mascara. Why?

Anne French - might have been called beauty milk. I am a child of the sixties so not many may remember this concoction.

Heather Shimmer lipstick.

(Still wear it!)

White musk body spray from the body shop and exclamation perfume. Our school bus used to stink!

Silverkrin hairspray that came in a green can. Sleeping very strong an was basically spray on glue.

Exclamation perfume, or Lou Lou if you were flash (I had it!)

V05 hot oils

Nivea felt so good putting it on but you slide off your pillow with the grease

Body shop perfume was the perfume to wear

You were nobody at our school if you didn't have body shop lip balm

I recently bought white musk again!

Girls using creamy coloured gel pens to draw eyeliner with was a big one.

Shaders and Toners as a wash-in hair colour

I also used.to use Cepton. "Cepton Zots Spots"!!!

Twilight teaser lipstick boots , looked like I'd got frost bite but felt fantastic ...

Body Shop Dewberry body lotion.

Blistex lip balm in the little pot.

What was that very girly pink Rimmel lipstick called? With that lipcote stuff on top that stung like buggery but by God your lipstick stayed put.

There was the apple shampoo and soap (cannot remember the name but when I googled I found):

Tickle anti-perspirant
LincoBeer shampoo in the barrel
Aapri apricot face scrub
And there was a lipstick (I think Ultraglow that changed colour with your pH to your perfect shade (in my case Barbie Pink )

Yes to sun-in. I was lucky to turn blonde others were not so lucky

Anais Anais perfume was popular round our way. Also trying to remember a deodorant that everyone used. I can see the muted greed colour can but damned if I can remember the name. Oh Jazz aftershave was used a lot by girls too for same strange reason.
