The new loreal advert for hairspray got me thinking about my school days when Insette was the hairspray of choice. Hair never moved for weeks and you could practically snap it off. Vidal Sassoon that smelled like apples. Constant Carol that only did foundation in orange, oranger and orangist. Care to add yours

I loved heather shimmer, kiwi lip balm and Body Shop Rose Musk perfume oil. I slept with my hair in those bendy foam things to get curled and used face masks that you could peel off and look at the blackheads you pulled out.
