and please tell dhs/dps not to wear shorts that let testicles fall out at the side. It makes me gag seeing a veiny ball like that.

Esmummy · 03/06/2006 14:48

cept at the gym, that's the only place I wear mine

KommandantColditz · 03/06/2006 14:51

well, please don't wear linen then, because it makes you look like you use napkin rings on a daily basis.

BadHair · 03/06/2006 14:52

Is this for in town or for going out for an afternoon walk? I wouldn't be caught dead in cut-offs and trainers in a built-up area, but happily wade about in them when we're out for a walk.

JonesTheSteam · 03/06/2006 14:52

I only wear cut-off joggers, trainers and trainer-socks when I'm actually jogging - is that ok?

(And I might wear them when I ride my bike next week on holiday.)

Esmummy · 03/06/2006 14:53

Oh excercising purposes are completely fine imho.

LadyCodofCOdford · 03/06/2006 14:53

"Urgh, scab, you've got virgin socks!"

JonesTheSteam · 03/06/2006 14:54

virgin socks?

KommandantColditz · 03/06/2006 14:55

With you on the strappy tops. I don't mind anyone's ankles, but if you really need a bra, you really need capped sleeves.

mousiemousie · 03/06/2006 14:55

I love wearing my trainer socks and trainers all the time - 'cept in the summer when I'm wearing my flip flops!!!!! Smile

KommandantColditz · 03/06/2006 14:57

Those long white socks. I used to get the piss ripped because mum thought I looked adorable in them when I was twelve, and everyone else had plain black ankle socks. I don't know why 'virgin' was such an insult though, we were 12, we were all virgins!

LadyCodofCOdford · 03/06/2006 14:58

oh yes
12 too old to wear them i think.

trianer socks are dum
they show

How often do you gerra load of 'veiny ball' then?

LadyCodofCOdford · 03/06/2006 15:01

not as often as you
arf

OP posts:
KommandantColditz · 03/06/2006 15:01

I thought the point of trainer socks was to let your ankles get tanned and stop your trainers getting smelly? So doesn't really matter if they show, because they are to stop you getting a tan line or smelly trainers.

moondog · 03/06/2006 15:01

Dh has had to buy extra long shorts for gym sessions in Turkey for fear of offending with glimpse of inner thigh, let alone ball (veiny or otherwise)
There is a vile man at my gym who delights in doing stretching and thrusting exercises near me in very small shorts every time I go.
