btw, i bought white and navy full length linen trousers from next, to wear around town.

i think a size 14 is about average isnt it. maybe even a 16. i think you can get away with most things as a size 14. im a 10 sometimes 12 and there are some things i would never wear. eg. thoses really really low jeans with a short top that you see women wearing with a roll of belly hanging over the top of the jeans. why? why? im sure some people dont have mirrors.

I liked cropped trousers. I like my DP in cropped drawstring trousers even though he says they remind him of hobbits (cue "I feel the urge to go on a long long journey"). I just do. And I'm a shortarse of nearly 43 and I DON'T CARE.

yes, tons of people are overweight and they are unhealthy because of it, not a good thing..even if they're a sizeable (excuse the pun!) minority. Btw, I'm not saying someone's necessarily overweight if size 16+ but there's often an obvious correlation.
