Following on from Week 1, \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=2350&threadid=149556&stamp=060306150312\here}, welcome to week 2 of WWW's ten years younger plan. The rules:

Be as happy as possible. The odd night of booze and chocolate is fine
It's not a diet, it's trying to eat healthily and well
Lots of water
Some exercise, walking is fine
Use sunscreen
Take your make up off before bed
Get enough sleep, aim to be in bed by 10, 10.30 every night

Good Luck to You.

Oooh, I have to tell you - I had an extremely pricey facial yesterday, combined with a massage and a foot massage. And organic stuff on my face. It was a delayed birthday present from a most lovely friend, and it was utterly fabulous. I suspect I would look more youthfully energised had I not spent the rest of the weekend stuffing myself on food and wine - I can feel vast amounts of meat sitting unappealingly in my digestive tract, like a python or something - but it was pretty damn blissful at the time.

ScummyMummy · 12/03/2006 20:41

How lovely mi.:)

bad, bad weekend ... feel like I've undone 2 weeks of being good and all because I've been feeling down. Will try harder this week again

Blackduck · 13/03/2006 08:19

My weekend just contained way too much bread - dp not very well, so didn't bother cooking really. On the plus side, it contained very little wine (one glass sat, one sun - and on both occasions I wondered why I bothered - Moodog - you are right dp not drinking, don't really want it...).
Bags undermy eyes seem less prominent, and I do feel better....
Feet - well, said it before, nothing short of a miracle would improve my feet!

suzywong · 13/03/2006 08:28

I dropped a kilo over the weekend

Virtuous day, another bike ride this evening then out to dinner at a woman who is famous state-wide for her cooking and her husband for his wine cellar.

winnie get yourself some very good quality chocolate and have a square when you need a lift

Good morning everyone. Right, I'm ON THE WAGON again (unless job etc).

Started the day with a 5.30am waking beeby with poo up her back, followed by a row with dh about who did the baby and who got the poo off our bedroom wall Shock - we ignored her for a while hoping she'd play quietly so we deserved it really; followed by mega stroppy 8yo screaming at me that he had homework he hadn't done and of which I have absolutely no knowledge, followed by a phone call from an agency at 8.30am to invite me to another job interview, followed by frantic phone calls between me, teacher and then ds to establish that actually, there is NO homework outstanding and he was throwing a strop totally inappropriately. Ds said 'xxx's mum doesn't tell him off like you tell me off and I said - eeek - 'Well, THAT'S WHY xx IS such a little shit' Oh dear. I then had to tell him when I called to give the good you-have-no-outstanding-homework and your teacher doesn't know what you're on about news that he MUST NOT tell x what I said since it will hurt his feelings and get me into trouble. So he almost certainly will tell x! Oh well, let's home we're moving hey?! :) And it's ONLY 9am! Hey, it can only get better. Repent here and then let's all move onto a brand new shiny week 3 thread, which I'll start in a minute.
