Following on from Week 1, \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=2350&threadid=149556&stamp=060306150312\here}, welcome to week 2 of WWW's ten years younger plan. The rules:

Be as happy as possible. The odd night of booze and chocolate is fine
It's not a diet, it's trying to eat healthily and well
Lots of water
Some exercise, walking is fine
Use sunscreen
Take your make up off before bed
Get enough sleep, aim to be in bed by 10, 10.30 every night

Good Luck to You.

Still wanna know what you mean by deep mositurising....

ScummyMummy · 09/03/2006 22:19

Ok- not a bad day. Not too much coffee and ate well but not excessively. Lots of moving about. Will grease feet in bed and top up water intake.

Sunscreen (it arrived yesterday too- Liz Earle must deliver all her stuff on the same day!)is making me anxious though- does it go under or over moisturiser or is it an alternative to moisturiser?

Callmemadam · 09/03/2006 22:19

Still think I eat too much: muesli, biscotti with cappucino Blush, tuna and green beans with little couscous and cappucino + water, 3 dried figs, slice homemade banana cake Blush Blush, salmon fishcakes and salad. Quite a lot more water. NO BOOZE again!! Out to dinner tomorrow, though.

One Feeling Happy, was abducted by aliens and imprisoned in Jigsaw for large part of the morning and only released when I had bought stuff Grin and then spent enormous amount on clinique makeup after smoothtalking sales girl promised to rebuild my face............. I am seriously up for Botox, anyone else want to come too?

ScummyMummy · 09/03/2006 22:19

Sounds like everyone is doing brilliantly.:)

ScummyMummy · 09/03/2006 22:21

Botox is a bit scary for me. My fil has his eye twitch treated by it and swears it is magic though.

moonshine · 09/03/2006 22:31

Food and drink are a washout with me this week and I admit defeat. I shall regroup on Sunday and try and get back into my groove.

On the positive side I've always drank a lot of water and, since I've been wearing makeup, I have always taken it off before bed no matter how drunk or tired I have been .

I'm not bothered about my crow's feet but would love to see if some Botox in my scowl lines (the ones at the top of your nose/start of your eyebrows) would make a big difference.

I shall also aim to get my hair cut next week as anything has got to be better than the thing on top of my head atm. Dh always says a good cut makes me look younger (and he is not the type to usually give compliments).

Many have been unusually quiet tonight. Either they are in bed getting a good night's sleep or out on the razzle (or maybe they just have a proper RL Smile)

moondog · 09/03/2006 22:34

Scummy, that wasn't strictly a cosmetic issue though was it?

I atteneed the gym today.Honestly it is really fun with an iPod. Only bummer is that a) I can't wail along b) There is a middle aged bloke there who spends an inordinate amount of time doing groin stretches in a tiny pair of shorts.

I am remmebering the maxim my sisters and I came up with years ago which is.....if you have the faintest inkling that something pervy is going on,it undoubtedly is.

Muesli banana yoghurt
Beef salad wholemeal roll and orange
Greek salad and quinoa
Mango
Raspberries
Blueberries

You girls just have to stop buying wine.
Then you can't drink it.
I like Rose's Lime cordial with ice and sparkling mineral water
Also Angostura Bitters and mineral water

yoyo · 09/03/2006 23:34

Well I've had wine! In my gym we have a husband and wife duo where the DH gives her instructions on how many reps she should do. He bought her a boob job instead of an engagement ring - romance eh?

So lime cordial tomorrow then; I can't wait.

WickedViperWitch · 09/03/2006 23:36

I'm shockingly bad. I drank \link{http://www.artlebedev.com/posters/champagne/champagne-800x600.jpg\this} and ate \link{http://web.mit.edu/paksmit/www/pictures/tg04/images/biryani!.jpg\this} and watched \link{http://www.battlestargalactica.com/\this} and also ate \link{http://www.taquitos.net/dbimages13/Wotsits-Cheesy.jpg\these} Shock and \link{http://ethicaladdictions.com/images/misc/divine%20chocolate.jpg\this, dark version}. Right, am knackered, must go to bed now, Ovenu coming tomorrow, hope I still manage my day time kip! Apologies for all the links but hey, you can look if you're bored tomorrow or if it's a slow work/mn day or something!

suzywong · 10/03/2006 01:57

WVW, I doubt your credentials as leader of this thread to be quite frank.

Cheesy Wotsits indeed!

suzywong · 10/03/2006 02:02

but, then, on considering the evidence it is patently clear that Moondog is just milking it and trying to be Head Girl.

Roses lime cordial and sparkling water. HA!

moondog · 10/03/2006 08:15

I am trying to provide inspiration!!

Good day foodwise.
Exercise - walking...
did remember to do feet....

trix1 · 10/03/2006 10:16

Good morning, went to bed early last night 10.00pm but woke at 2.30am and did nto get back to sleep til after 4.00pm.

How long does it take for the Liz Earle products to arrive? I ordered them on the phone yesterday.

trix1 · 10/03/2006 10:16

Meant to say til after 4am.

moonshine · 10/03/2006 11:44

Shock at WVW - now I know where I'm going wrong - I've got in with the 'naughty' gang who are leading me astray Wink.

Moondog - you are indeed an inspiration but must at the lime cordial. But how the hell do you find time to go to the gym so often? Are all your kids at school? Do you go when they're all in bed as well?

And as for a nap in the daytime...together with the champagne and dark choc, you are Decadence personified WVW Grin

moondog · 10/03/2006 14:15

Moonshine,I'm not in f/t employment at present as my dh is abroad and we spend a lot of time with him.
Do some freelance work though and my 5 year old is in school and my 20 mth old in nursery two days a week,so go on those days and find someone to mind him once a week which makes X3 visits a week.

Have zero other life though-the gym is it Grin

'Call Me' Blondie
Load this on your iPods now-v v good for running and |Stairmaster. Excellent pounding beat that will drive you on.

suzywong · 10/03/2006 14:23

and then queue up One Way Or Another, MD

moondog · 10/03/2006 14:24

Oh yeah..there's a thought.
Am about to (get this!!!) jog to school to meet dd.
Grin

suzywong · 10/03/2006 14:26

make sure your tits are strapped down then

moondog · 10/03/2006 14:27

I do need a new hydraulic sysyem..this is true.

puddle · 10/03/2006 14:29

Moondog is right about wine. Just don't have it in the house.

I have had a bad couple of days. Mostly down to ds's birthday being yesterday so lots of cake in the house and dough balls with garlic butter - yum. Had two glasses of wine last night too - felt I deserved it after supervising very excited 6 year old and friends through extremely noisy birthday tea. Did manage to talk DP ut of ordering a takeaway last night and we had salad nicoise instead.

soyabean · 10/03/2006 14:31

oh dear I have been really hopeless at this, v little change from my usual routine...Beer last night (the only way to get through school quiz night) and then our team came third and we won chocolates...
Zero exercise apart from some walking which hardly counts I feel. I used to swim twice a week but havent for months. Will try this w/e and then try to do all the other things too. Well done everyone else, you soundlike you are really making an effort!
