Following on from Week 1, \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=2350&threadid=149556&stamp=060306150312\here}, welcome to week 2 of WWW's ten years younger plan. The rules:

Be as happy as possible. The odd night of booze and chocolate is fine
It's not a diet, it's trying to eat healthily and well
Lots of water
Some exercise, walking is fine
Use sunscreen
Take your make up off before bed
Get enough sleep, aim to be in bed by 10, 10.30 every night

Good Luck to You.

Oh dear, not doing too well. Must try harder.
Fruit and veg is fine, and I am really working hard at the water. Food, well, I do eat pretty well but havent managed to refuse the extras, like yesterday ata conference at work so ther is coffee and biscuits and they are just sitting there. ..No will power at all.
Have just had chees sandwiches and fruit juice for lunch, green tea and cornflakes for breakfast so thats OK. Exercise, just the usual 30-40 mins a day of walking, so I think I need to do more.
Alcohol at weekend only, and under 2 glasses wine, but am going out tonight, which is a bit early in the week to start.
Have been putting vaseline on feet with socks at night and that really does seem to work.

winnie · 08/03/2006 12:39

Last night wasn't so good. Went a bit mad eating sundried tomatoes Blush... seems odd but felt out of control. Which isn't good. I

Managed to socialise without having alcohol which surprised me. So that was good.

Everything else is going well although I am still waiting for my latest Liz Earle order. (They are obviously much more speedy when one phones and order than when one orders online.)
Still feeling motivated. Started the day doing toning exercises. Did 300 and felt very pleased with myself!

moonshine · 08/03/2006 12:53

Had 2 glasses of wine last night which wasn't terrible but I had promised myself I wouldn't drink until Friday.

Today has been crap - woke up to discover our rat invader is still studiously ignoring the poison but stealing ds's soft ball and hoarding it under the cooker Shock. A car also smashed into me as I approached a roundabout - his foot slipped, so he said! Thank God ds seems ok but I now have a blinding headache and just want to eat chocolate!

soyabean · 08/03/2006 12:55

Which Liz Earle product is it that you are all using? from a website? Thanks

suzywong · 08/03/2006 12:56

eat chocolate moonshine, just make sure it's Green and Blacks

Yuck about the rodent, what a sick little ratty freak

BudaBabe · 08/03/2006 12:57

Have slipped I'm afraid.

Drinking - but not water! Even left make-up on lst night.

Just eaten half a pack of choc digestives throught he course of the morning. And am out for a girl's night tonight, corporate drink's do and dinner tomorrow night and a leaving party on Saturday.

Have done no exercise.

Been on here most of day.

AAARGH!!!!!!!!!

suzywong · 08/03/2006 12:58

BudaBabe · 08/03/2006 13:00

suzywong · 08/03/2006 13:01

No

enemas and self flagellation

moonshine · 08/03/2006 13:04

BudaBabe · 08/03/2006 13:04

Batters, I too have spent a small fortune on it but do love it and do use it. Very often I've bought products use them a few times not noticed any improvements or my skin has reacted badly and they've sat on my shelves for months on eand gathering dust.

I managed 2 days without coffee but caved in today after walking past a church coffee morning on the school run. The aroma sent me dashing straight back home for a strong nescafe. Still, no alcolhol since saturday so that's a long time for me. It is bloody hard to neck 2 litres of water, especially as I nearly pee myself when I drink alot. Still, I am drinking some water which is a definate improvement.

Another step to looking younger is whiter teeth so I have been using a sonic toothbrush and bolishing wiht pearl drops hollywood smile (yuk name) since the New Year and I have to say my teeth gleam now.

WideWebWitch · 08/03/2006 17:04

I'm not worthy to be running this thread, I've been terrible, drank lots of wine again last night, have eaten toast and 2 pieces of bread and marmalade today and a smoothie and some water. I had a bath and a sleep at lunchtime though so I think that'll up my Being Happy quotient. We have pork tonight, will eat lots of veg. So \link{http://www.oneposter.com/UserData/Poster/Poster_5664.jpg\here's a badge for all us fallen women}

Callmemadam · 08/03/2006 17:42

'alone'at night when wearing your vaseline and sox? Just a thought, we could be starting a new pirates thread here for 'Grease' fans!

Mazzystar · 08/03/2006 17:48

i think i need to start over again tomorrow.

granarybeck · 08/03/2006 18:45

www, toast and smoothie doesn't sound that bad! thanks so much for starting this thread, its given me a focus to do stuff i've needed to do for ages.

its those times when dh suggests wine, and usually i think 'oh, why not?' but now i've given myself rules i've a reason to 'try' and say no. am only feeling virtuous that i've made it to wednesday from sun with no wine! Could kill for a nice glass with dinner though!

WideWebWitch · 08/03/2006 18:48

Can I ask for 2 packets of Wotsits to be taken into consideration too?

OP posts:
granarybeck · 08/03/2006 18:59
