Just in case as posted on old thread-

Hi ladies

Didn't post for yesterday as I had some bad news that I'm at risk of redundancy so wasn't in the best head space for dieting but here's what I had anyway:

B - coffee (a+1)

Brunch - quorn sausage and egg butty with brown sauce on 50/50 bread (I know it's not hexb but who cares hahaha) (2.5 for sausages and 1 for sauce)

D - cheesy pasta with broccoli and green beans (a+3) with salad and a garlic bread slice (5.5)

S - sweets (5)
Total = 18 syns and the wrong bread lol

All in all not actually that bad and I did 50 lengths 🏊‍♀️

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/09/2020 12:45

@Bl0ndi3 sorry about redundant. Bad timing :(

I feel the hb can be tweaked. It’s for the fibre to make sure we have enough

I have friends who eat a slice of white bread every day and lose weight

The Cals are the same and the fibre .2 diff

Just saying

@Blondeshavemorefun haha yeah I'm not too strict about my hexb normally I'd have had a wholemeal whole but they're so small it didn't feel like enough and I was upset and stressed so a big fat butty was called for 😂

Yes it's really bad timing but out of my control now just gotta wait it out! 😞

Bl0ndi3 · 24/09/2020 15:54

Wholeness roll 🙄

Bl0ndi3 · 24/09/2020 15:54

Wholemeal roll 🙄🙄😞😂

troppibambini · 24/09/2020 17:06

Blondi I'm sorry to hear about that it sounds very stressful Thanks
Thanks for the new thread blondes.

L- bacon, beans, egg and 1 piece of crustless bread (2)
2 hifi
A banana
2 plums
An orange
D- stew and pickled cabbage

GiGi18 · 24/09/2020 21:51

I'm going to join in to help keep me on track! Joined 5 weeks ago and lost 9lbs so far but had a maintain last week and again today

B - Two boiled eggs and an apple
L - Homemade tomato and sweet potato soup with my healthy extra A cheddar
D - Wrap (Healthy extra B with quorn southern fried bites (6 syns) light Caesar dressing (0.5), lettuce, and SW chips

Snacks
Satsuma
Fibre birthday cake bar (3.5 syns)
1/3 of a croissant (5 syns)
Half a punnet of cotton candy grapes 😍
Two coffees (second healthy A)

Hoping to have a better week this week, weekends are my downfall but I'm determined to get a loss next week so going to stick to my syns all weekend.

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/09/2020 21:55

Welcome @GiGi18

I’m hoping for a lb tomorow. Slow and steady apart from when I eat out lots

JingleAndTonic · 25/09/2020 07:46

Morning! Thanks for the new thread @Blondeshavemorefun

@Bl0ndi3 oh no hopefully you can hold on at work! I don't bother much with choosing exactly the HEB options, if I have white bread it's not the end of the world

welcome @GiGi18

I maintained this week which is fine after two takeaways and all the wine last weekend but this week I really would like to lose, I want to get another stone off by the end of the year so need to kick myself into it!

L - egg mayo roll (HEB and 1/2 syn) with some quavers (4.5 syns)

T - lemon mozzarella and sage ravioli which involves quite a bit of butter (HEA and 5 syns ish) maybe also a slice of garlic bread (7 syns)

Wee bit over on the syns but a Friday treat often doesn't hurt as long as I don't go wild!

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/09/2020 11:32

Lb off for me :)

OP posts:
JingleAndTonic · 25/09/2020 12:10

yay well done @Blondeshavemorefun!

Might need to add 3.5 syns to my snacking, I'm wanting to try the weetabix cake from the recipes on the app and I couldn't possibly make it and not try it Grin

JingleAndTonic · 25/09/2020 16:08

yes can confirm the weetabix cake is good, extra nice with butter slathered on Wink

troppibambini · 25/09/2020 16:31

Well done blondesSmile
Sounds good jingle!!

L-stew and red cabbage
2 plums
A banana
D-spaghetti and meatballs
2 hifis

I use the Aldi skinny meatballs which are half a syn each they are very nice if anyone likes meatballs!

GiGi18 · 25/09/2020 22:35

Well done blondes!

Managed a Friday on plan today

B: melon and an apple, two coffees (Hexa)
L: baked potato, cheese (hexa) and salad
D: beef mayflower curry (4 syns) and egg fried rice, lots of veg in the curry

Snacked on a satsuma and carrot plus two HiFis for my hexb

Also had a mini Prosecco for 7 syns and my favourite on plan dessert of a meringue nest (2.5) with a coconut and vanilla yoghurt (1) with strawberries.

14.5 syns used.

Weetabix cake sounds good, need to try that!

Have a good weekend all!

JingleAndTonic · 26/09/2020 12:11

weekend on plan has gone swimmingly..

b - slice of weetabix cake and butter and coco pops with banana 🥴 (10.5 syns and HEA)

l - bacon and hash brown roll with tomato sauce (HEB and 3 syns)

t - chicken gyros with chips, greek flatbread, hummus and tzatziki (11.5 syns)

the flatbread is really high in syns, could have done a wholemeal pitta and been HEB but used that at lunch - never mind! 24 syns isn't the absolute worst for a saturday 🍷

claireymrsd · 26/09/2020 12:36

Joining in for the first time!

Yesterday I ate

B - fruit (melon, raspberries, mango, blueberries) with muller light (0.5 syns) - was saving my hexb for lunch

L - heinz minestrone soup (1 syn) with pizza toast - 3 slices of kingsmill no crust bread for hexb, with tomato purée, red onion and cheddar hexa

S - half a fibre one lemon bar (2 syns) more of a nibble than a snack !

D - homemade beef stew made in the slow cooker with Heinz oxtail soup (2.5 syns for the can), potatoes, swede, leeks & carrots plus gravy granules added in at the end to thicken it a bit (1.5 syns) so split between 4 portions = 1 syn each

S - milkybar dessert pot (5 syns) with chopped strawberries and also a Freddo caramel (5 syns)

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2020 17:18

Awful day today no idea why. I'm writing it off and starting again tomorrow I've literally grazed on crap all day and had beans and sausage on white toast for teaConfused

troppibambini · 26/09/2020 18:57

And yes blondes the burgers are good too I like the skinny sausages too but I seem to remember you weren't too keen...

troppibambini · 26/09/2020 18:58

Hello @claireymrsd Smile

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2020 19:18

@troppibambini sorry for bad day

Tho beans abs bread is ok. See my previous post. It’s the same Cals and .2 difference so if hasn’t had your b count it as that

So only sausages

Abs yes the skinny ones rank but like their chicken ones that are 1 syn

Had 3 tonight for tea

OP posts:
claireymrsd · 26/09/2020 19:28

thank you for the welcome!

B - branflakes (b), muller light (0.5) and melon

L - leftover stew (1) with peas

S - went for a walk at the beach and treated myself to an ice cream (got back to target weight treat!)

D - Richmond meat free sausages (1.5 each) - didn't really like them! bacon, beans and mushrooms

Probably shouldn't have any more syns today......

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2020 19:39

Try the Aldi chicken ones @claireymrsd. They are lovely
