I seem to stick to same thing

L- slice of granary toast (HEB) with left over humous (1syn) cherry tomatos, red onions and chicken breast. 2 x satsumas for pud
D - roasted veg and mushroom pasta with cheese (HEA)
S - very small Slice of lemon drizzle at MILs house. Couldn’t say no, and glad I didn’t as it was bloody lovely! Syns? Erm, dunno, probably all of them! 🤣

Forgot to post my meals today - I had a day off today so woke up later than usual and skipped breakfast.

L - pasta n sauce (0.5) with cheese (HEA) and a side salad
D - chicken with roast peppers, onions, courgettes and mushrooms with Tesco vegetable rice (1)
S - 2 hifis (HEB), mini twister (2) and mini bag of sweets (2.5)

Ending on just 6 syns today - going to do my best to get rid of last week’s gain!

I did actually do good yesterday although I didn't make a syn free stir fry as I made a teriyaki sauce with brown sugar and cornflour in it lol so i estimate that it was about 3 syns a portion.

I don't think I snacked any extra yesterday so overall ended up on 4 syns.

Gonna be an off plan weekend as me and OH have a date night at a Mexican restaurant on Saturday after our scan 👶🏼 and then it's DSS birthday on Sunday and were having pizza and going bowling 🤷🏼‍♀️

Today :

B -
coffee a+1
toast b with cheese spread a

L - soup 2.5

D -
Chilli with rice and salad (maybe a with some cheese)

@Bl0ndi3 that must be such a relief about your job! good to have a bit of security at least for the time being

@Blondeshavemorefun it was a thorntons sticky toffee cake, bought it in asda and it was really delicious - super moist!

L - vegetable soup and a few crackers (4.5 syns)

T - wrap pizza made with a ww wrap, chorizo slices, ham and some sweet chilli sauce (HEA, HEB, 3 syns) and a few SW chips

S - apple and some cheese (HEA)

think I might also have another stab at the weetabix cake this afternoon, bought some mixed fruit and think if I use that and extra mixed spice it could be like a proper fruit cake? will report back! Cake

Does anyone cook the diet coke chicken?
I'm a bit bored of my normal chicken recipes and saw this in the magazine that's just arrived. Can't make my mind up if it sounds appealing or absolutely disgusting Blush.
If you've tried it, would you recommend, and does it actually taste of coke?

yes i've made it @MrsAvocet i really like it! it doesn't taste of coke, it's kind of sweet and tangy it reminds me of a levi roots sauce jar i used to rate pre-diet. aw i fancy that now, will need to pop it on next weeks meal plan!

happy friday! 0.5lbs on for me this week but considering last time i was on annual leave i gained 5lbs i will take it and run!! especially since i had several drinks at the weekend and again on tuesday for DMs birthday as well as cake, curry, too many sneaky rows of the big cadbury bar in the fridge 🤭

B - a ghost shaped crumpet with butter (6 syns to match my age apparently 😂)

L - might have to pick up a meal deal as won't be at home

T - a wine tasting and charcuterie board 🥴 i dread to think the syns so this is going to be my treat then i'll be good through the weekend!!

I've maintained this week but had a bit of a non scales victory. I bought a new bra today. 34C. Only a few months ago I was just about squeezed into a 36DD.
Thanks for the feedback on the diet coke chicken by the way. I will give it a go next week i think!

sounds like it's not the best week on the scales for any of us!

well done on the NSV @MrsAvocet, i had one too! had to move a ring from my ring finger to middle finger as it was about falling off! if i'd tried that at the start of the year it would've got stuck on my knuckle and had to be cut off for sure

I had a horrific day yesterday I am dreading weighing myself ever again or for at least a month!

However today has been good so far:

B - coffee 1+a
L - stir fry leftovers 2.5
D - I'm craving a cheese toastie so I might make one with my B and A choices and be a happy pregnant lady haha maybe have it with some sw chips and salad.

Going to meal plan next week because this week has been a HORROR.

@Blondeshavemorefun I need to learn to give myself a break when I fall spectacularly off the wagon atm but after years of dieting and having body image and weight issues I'm struggling.

I see my midwife on Tuesday so I'm going to mention it to her as I need to find a way to accept that I'm going to put weight on and not get so upset and anxious about it.

I've had two days where I've eaten really good meals all day and then come the evening when OH is on nights and I've just thought about food and caved and eaten so much junk! Like so so much!

I've decided that this weekend was always going to be a write off with date night tonight and then DSS birthday 🍕 🎂 so I'm going to enjoy that and not worry, and then I'm gonna sit and do a meal plan for next week and see how I go and just try and relax. I'm just really scared of putting on excessive weight and I know that any weight i am gaining right now is me and not baby as I'm so early. Hoping it gets easier in second trimester and beyond when I know the weight is actually baby haha because that's the weight I wanna gain!

Sorry for the long rant I've just been really struggling with my own head this week as my nauseas started kicking in and cravings and stuff and it's made sticking to plan hard.

@Bl0ndi3 that sounds tough, try not to worry about it too much, we all have days/weeks where we want to eat everything in sight and that must be amplified when you're pregnant! meal plans always help me stay on track with having everything sorted and there's no stress of "oh god what am i having for tea?!" then i can't be bothered and just have rubbish

weighed myself after last night cheese and wine fest and have gained 2lbs lol

L - bacon, egg and chorizo cheesy potato bake (1 syn for a tiny bit of chorizo plus HEA)

T - kfc fakeaway 😋 going to do a fillet tower burger with a wholemeal roll (HEB), birdseye chicken burger (4 syns), cheese (HEA) spicy mayo (1) and a hash brown (1.5) with SW chips, mayflower southern gravy (2) and onion rings (6)

S - weetabix cake with a wee bit of butter (4 syns) made it with mixed fruit like i planned and can confirm it's great

takes me to 19.5 syns for the day which is fine as i tend to be below 10 during the week and it's better than the 31 syns just for the burger if i got a real KFC 😱 although i do really want one 😂
