Crocs - if we offered Mumsnetters a discount, do we need adult sizes?

So we are hoping to get a Crocs discount partner on board and we've found one who will do up to size 3 (ie kids). Apparently, they tell us, there's no point doing adult ones because no women will be seen dead in them... we'd be much better off with flip flops. Can this be true - will you be buying yourself a pair of Fushia Cayman's this year?
(I speak as someone who wears little else all summer but I fear I'm not exactly with it)

Nooo, I want them too! Best ever footwear for clearing the garden of poo. (The dog's, not the child's.)

cheesesarnie · 04/03/2009 20:08

[vomit]

my dc wear then but adults in crocs is just wrong.

oregonianabroad · 04/03/2009 20:26

I don't get why people hav e such an issue with comfortable footwear????

I WANT A DISCOUNT. AND I HAVE BIG FEET.

wotulookinat · 04/03/2009 20:28

It makes me laugh when people get all super-against things. I unashamedly love Crocs and Big Brother - both things that people love hate. I hate Ugg boots, but lots of people love them. I don't like them ,so I don't have any. That's the end of it for me. I wouldn't try to change the opinion of someone who liked them.

tigerdriver · 04/03/2009 21:16

was just looking at my lime green ones and thinking that I might need a new pair and keep the old ones for gardening.

I love them, they look revolting but are so comfortable and useful etc etc

WingsTHEangel · 04/03/2009 21:52

Well my ds is 9yrs and already has size 4 feet so he wouldn't be able to get discount. They are great for when we are camping.

Mumsnut · 04/03/2009 22:10

I heart my crocs but would still betray them with a new pair.

Pawslikepaddington · 04/03/2009 23:11

I want a fit flop discount instead!!!!

LynetteScavo · 05/03/2009 16:28

Oh yes we do! Please, please can we have a Fit Flop dicount?

Nontoxic · 05/03/2009 16:32

I don't see how anyone can make a choice between crocs and Fitflops - they're both equally hideous imo.

finecheese · 06/03/2009 09:54

Crocs on adults are revolting - there is no excuse for wearing them

Annner · 07/03/2009 16:24

Oh, blimey, yes. Need them totally for campsites. Particularly the showers, when poor ickle me can't wear thonged flip flops

Shhhh · 20/03/2009 21:10

Im another crocs lover .
Each to their own BUT justine a mn discount would be muchly appreciated .

sammysam · 31/03/2009 10:31

Please please please-when is this discount likely to happen? Need to get some for dd and maybe some for me asap

SamJamsmum · 31/03/2009 10:34

I love crocs.
They are tons of new styles which are an improvement on the original.

Not sure this retailer really 'gets' their product.

AnnieLobeseder · 31/03/2009 10:39

Only if they do all the cool ones like the Celeste canvas, the prima etc, not just the bog-standard ugly Caymans.

I only wear Crocs, but don't like Caymans at all!!

sammysam · 03/04/2009 09:46

Any news?

squilly · 19/04/2009 21:25

How much are crocs normally?

ihavenewsockson · 19/04/2009 21:41

YES!

SlightlyMadStirrup · 19/04/2009 21:43

£15 in SportsDirect for adults and £10 for kids ATM.

Lots of colours and sizes - but I think teh colour size combos are a little bit limiting.
