Crocs - if we offered Mumsnetters a discount, do we need adult sizes?

So we are hoping to get a Crocs discount partner on board and we've found one who will do up to size 3 (ie kids). Apparently, they tell us, there's no point doing adult ones because no women will be seen dead in them... we'd be much better off with flip flops. Can this be true - will you be buying yourself a pair of Fushia Cayman's this year?
(I speak as someone who wears little else all summer but I fear I'm not exactly with it)

I have a pair of crocs, which are in use all year round.in the summer great for the beach, now its winter there just at the side of the door for walking round the garden and going to the bin in, i do have one problem every time i go to put them on there never there,my husband has them on.So this year i will be needing 4 new pairs of adult crocs as my kids are aged 11 and 12 and will be needing size 6 and 8 adult sizes

Rhubarb · 04/03/2009 14:43

I've been looking at this thread title for ages wondering what it was about. Today I finally gave in.

I feel quite deflated now!

VoodooTheOriginal · 04/03/2009 14:43

what did you think it was about?

Rhubarb · 04/03/2009 14:44

I dunno really, I was confused by the whole titley thing. It doesn't take much!

LittleMissFickle · 04/03/2009 14:45

VoodooTheOriginal · 04/03/2009 14:55

VoodooTheOriginal · 04/03/2009 14:56

are they really wide? is that why so comfy?

Rhubarb · 04/03/2009 14:57

Alligators are bigger so they would be wider.

LackaDAISYcal · 04/03/2009 14:57

sniggers at actual crocodile

I thougth they were horrible, but having seen how light and comfy my DS's are, I'm kind of half tempted myself.....only for the beach and the garden you understand!

VoodooTheOriginal · 04/03/2009 15:01

actually - - --I thought the primas would be ok round the supermarket...with a pair of 3/4 jeans (ducks the fashionistas)

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 04/03/2009 15:37

I do use them a lot in the summer so yes please.

AnotherworriedMother · 04/03/2009 16:43

.

MmeLindt · 04/03/2009 16:57

I bought Primas and they were much smaller than the Caymanns. I was actually between sizes so could not get them to fit me at all.

The Cleos are great as they don't actually look like Crocs, just strappy sandals.

I also have the Celeste, they are a great alternative to sneakers.

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/03/2009 17:02

Can you not get a discount with Russell & Bromley or Kurt Geiger instead?

Crocs, fgs.
