Crocs - if we offered Mumsnetters a discount, do we need adult sizes?

So we are hoping to get a Crocs discount partner on board and we've found one who will do up to size 3 (ie kids). Apparently, they tell us, there's no point doing adult ones because no women will be seen dead in them... we'd be much better off with flip flops. Can this be true - will you be buying yourself a pair of Fushia Cayman's this year?
(I speak as someone who wears little else all summer but I fear I'm not exactly with it)

SoupDragon · 03/03/2009 11:36

Well, I wouldn't wear them, but my dds both do and dd1 is only eleven but would need a size 4 this year. So I think they should offer larger sizes.

ProfYaffle · 03/03/2009 11:37

Yes, I need new Mary Janes for the summer

4andnotout · 03/03/2009 11:37

I wear crocs all summer and in winter i wear them indoors instead of slippers!

I need a discount!

diedandgonetodevon · 03/03/2009 11:37

OK for kids but a definite no go for me

stealthsquiggle · 03/03/2009 11:37

Can you find someone who does Gumbies as well [hopeful]?

(oh and are you trying to start a fight ?)

PestoMonster · 03/03/2009 11:37

And, I shall be needing a pair for dd2 aswell, so they'd better get some stock in

DanJARMouse · 03/03/2009 11:37

YES YES YES!!!!!

The best invention ever!!!

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 03/03/2009 11:38

Oh yes adult sizes here please.

BandMeeting · 03/03/2009 11:38

Larger sizes for big footed children.

Do they do disney ones btw? Getting sick of importing

TheCrackFox · 03/03/2009 11:38

I think they should offer up to a size 5/6 for all of us with big footed DCs.

I, personally, would rather wear my slippers out than Crocs.

Itsjustafleshwound · 03/03/2009 11:39

Adult sizing - esp for children with big feet ...

laughalot · 03/03/2009 11:42

Crocs for adults dont make me laugh

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 03/03/2009 11:42

I wear crocs.

kalo12 · 03/03/2009 11:43

BennyAndJoon · 03/03/2009 11:43

Yep - adult sizes too

CMOTDibbler · 03/03/2009 11:46

I hate flip flops with a passion. I don't own any crocs currently, but was planning on having a pair this year, having seen how comfortable my arthritic footed parents were in theirs last year.

Just wanted to point out that there are loads of good deals on crocs already, nearly everyone offers free postage, and lots of places are buy 3 pairs get one free.

Shoshe · 03/03/2009 11:50

Yes, have normal ones for dossing round in, and Alice type for going out of the house, they are brill, and this is someone who said when they came out would never be seen dead in them

Bought some in the end for beach holiday, and have never worn anything else since

MmeLindt · 03/03/2009 11:52

yes please, I need a new pair this summer.

Tell them not to be silly, of course adults where Crocs. Their marketing manager needs to go down the high street of a normal town in summer or go to the beach.

MmeLindt · 03/03/2009 11:52

oh, and can we have overseas postage too please.

To Switzerland if that is not too much bother

woodenspoon2 · 03/03/2009 11:53

Will there be the kids' boots and the mammoths too? Please?
