Crocs - if we offered Mumsnetters a discount, do we need adult sizes?

So we are hoping to get a Crocs discount partner on board and we've found one who will do up to size 3 (ie kids). Apparently, they tell us, there's no point doing adult ones because no women will be seen dead in them... we'd be much better off with flip flops. Can this be true - will you be buying yourself a pair of Fushia Cayman's this year?
(I speak as someone who wears little else all summer but I fear I'm not exactly with it)

I have tonnes of crocs, but always room for a new pair. Nothing else is wide enough for me!

My feet would go on strike if they didn't get to wear crocs in the summer. All other shoes are agony to the poor little things.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 03/03/2009 12:02

I wear them at my allotment and am considered very stylish

But then again, the population is generally over 65

WouldYouCouldYouWithAGoat · 03/03/2009 12:06

v. good for camping or swimming in pebblely rivers but even then you might as well be wearing the cheapo knock offs.

I love my crocs too! I wear them out. DS (2) wears his out too. DH has a pair but has made it clear that his are for garden use only!

uberalice · 03/03/2009 12:23

My crocs are the best indoor shoes I've ever had. I will never buy slippers again. And I've persuaded my DH and the ILs too.

laundrygoblin · 03/03/2009 12:33

I heart Crocs.

Crocs only look good on adults if they have short fat feet and ankles.

mollyroger · 03/03/2009 12:53

for those of us who actually do other things than mince around the high street looking fabulous. Y'know, like walking, boating, swimming, beaches, camping, gardening etc etc etc. YES PLEASE!
Plus my ds has size 5 feet and he loves his crocs.

onepieceofcremeegg · 03/03/2009 12:53

I shall leave this thread now as I don't have anything constructive to say.
