Ads covering whole page.

I've attached a picture.
The advert comes up, covers the whole page and you have to click off the page to remove it.
I've had to go off this page three times to write this.
The adverts like the coop one that cover most of the page are annoying but this advert makes the site unusable.

Happening for me too. Going to give up now as can't be bothered loading each thread 3 times.

I've had this a couple of times today.

It's almost non-stop at the moment, I've just had it 3 times in 2 minutes. I can't for the life of me understand how this has been allowed to happen ALL DAY. MN must have had loads of screenshots and recordings to show what's happening on various platforms - but still nothing?

I have it too. Android phone. Browser is Chrome.

It is infuriating and makes the site totally unusable. I have to close everything down and go back in in order to make it readable again. Then it happens again pretty soon afterwards.

Come on MNHQ. Get this sorted.

Still happening this evening @mumsnet on chrome browser on android mobile. Cannot read any threads :-( taken three attempts to get to the bottom of this one / closing / reopening to post this.

It's been like this all day for me too. I use android chrome and will not be using the app instead.

Surely they know which ad is the culprit now? Can't they just take it down rather than have it ruin the site? (Obviously I have no idea how these things work!)

Its taken 4 attempts to post this!

It's now on every thread I go on.

And I have just had it three times whilst trying to read to the bottom of a thread.

So far so good whilst posting this though.

Just had it happen three times in a row as soon as the screen refreshed it was back.

I have now resorted to refreshing the page and waiting for a few seconds before scrolling because for the past 10 minutes I have been trying to read the last two posts on a page only to have the ad take over repeatedly up to four times or the video ad appear on the top of the page which requires me to close it.

It is now impossible to get to the bottom of a page on threads.

I have now had five blank screen ad take overs in a row just at the top of the screen. But after then getting through that, by the time I get half way scrolling back down, the ad comes again. I tested it for you MNHQ and so far I am up to six attempts to get to the bottom of the page. I am stopping now though. It is showing signs of persistence.

The ad threads.

The massive ads in the feed.

The banner ads.

And now this actually stopping you from functioning.

Its like a cheap local ads site or something.
