Can't scroll past some adverts

I'm on an android phone using chrome, on some threads I will reach an advert and then cannot scroll past it!

If I remember rightly, I saw a thread saying the same thing l, so I didn't post as I assumed it would be fixed, it still seems to be happening though!

Argh I get this too! It's so annoying, I just give up when it happens, it's always on a good thread I'm invested in though v.annoying though

So it's happened to me four times in the space of ten minutes. Is there some kind of force field around MNHQ which means it doesn't do this for you?

When you say you’re testing in the virtual MN office. Are you testing on actual mobiles or trying to replicate this using dev tools of some sort?

We're testing on mobiles to try to replicate the issue.

And thanks to those posting the click strings - it'll help us to track the ads down and hopefully get things resolved.

Any suggestions as to my ad box error?
There’s an ad box covering content but no advert Visible- just a grey box. Buts covering a third of my screen.
I’ll post a pic of your latest post Michael mumsnet. And hopefully you’ll see that part of your post disappears under the ad box.

I don't think it is any individual ad. I think it is a structural systemic issue in the way Mumsnet displays ads.

We think it's solved now. If you clear cookies (to stop ad requests that have already been approved over the last few days) and try again, then the 'can't scroll past some adverts' issue should be fixed.

To clarify I am using an iPad so not android. Impossible to get past holiday adverts. Covers the screen as soon as I touch post. Jet 2holidays comes up. It even did it on this earlier on so had to post to site stuff three times.
