The one thing I really don't like is I can't see where I've been now, because the text doesn't change colour. I used to be able to check that there were no new posts in favourite topic areas, as well as check which threads I'd read on active convos.

Well this makes my new year's resolution not to spend so much time on Mumsnet MUCH easier to keep.

People automatically whinge about change. It's fine, what's the problem with you all.

It's too cluttered and small. I have good eyesight but I even I struggled to read it. And the highlighted bits aren't highlighted enough, they are just a shade paler than the normal blue colour - they are meant to be in bold! As in "highlighted".

The overall look is just messy. Sure I could get used to it, but it's offputting. I think for newbies it would be very confusing.

As an aside, I honestly thought the site had been broken this morning, I don't know if it's different in IE but in Firefox it just looks ... unfinished. The text is weird, all scrunched up and just sort of plonked on the page - especially in threads your on. It honestly looked to me like the style sheet had been broken.

Now I realise, it was a redesign and it was MEANT to be like that, silly me.
