MN TOWERS - WHAT was wrong with the old layout???

What prompted this change?

dh just changed my screen res (but I DIDN'T Want it changed, wah, wah!) but now text is ok but half a post takes up most of the page. I'm using IE. Other sites, i.e. Google were the same size as before in another window, so it is mn that's changed.

Dragon - did you see the Captain Black/ Clangers video?- I posted it just as you went off for your littl 'break', but I thought you'd like it.

It's hurting my head and my eyes.

Headings should be in larger font and bold. That's really basic stuff. Ican hardly pick out the thread headings any more.

Use font size and bold! For crying out loud.

I have IE7 and firefox - it does actually lokk better in IE7 - maybe that's what it was designed for (tho' I was always taught to try out a website in as many browsers as possible)

I was also taught to spell look properly

The line around the blue posters name section is too noticable - the previous double thin edge line was easier on the eyes.

Hooray, we have our pale grey lines back- thanks MN Towers. I think we've just about resumed normal service now

It's much better than it was pelvic! Stick with it, you will get used to it. I can't tell the difference now tbh.

don?t like the "holly" green type and font is too small and eye-hurty.
Give me my mumsnet back (in stroppy toddlery whiny voice emoticon!)
I am too tired and don?t have enough energy to spend time negotiating new layouts and naviagations. I like mumsnet the way it used to be because I didn?t have to think!!
