Hi,

I wonder if any other ladies out there might be able to advise.... I am currently going through the menopause, went onto HRT and as often happens during the menopause, my sex drive went off a cliff! And has been very low for the past few years....

Except... about two months ago I had an erotic dream and it triggered something and suddenly the urge came back so strongly! Honestly I am like a horny teenager, it's so weird and confusing! My husband got used to me never really being interested anymore, now he can't keep up lol :D

Sooo... I am looking for a vibrator. I do have a rampant rabbit that I have had for years but tbh it's way too noisy (don't want the whole house to know what I am up to every time!) and also where I used to find it really effective, I now find my body must have changed, maybe I am more sensitive and the settings are never quite right, either too intense or not enough.

I have heard about a toy called the womaniser which I hear is a game changer but it's quite expensive, don't necessarily want to splurge that much if it doesn't suit me... just looking for some viewpoints and thoughts really, what has worked for other people? Hola chicas!! Just a quick update - I have revised my opinion of the mini-wand I got from Lovehoney - I was a bit underwhelmed initially but actually it is very nice to use and I had some very yummy solo fun today with the wand as a warm-up and then the Peachy mini rabbit for the grand finale haha! However, the wand would've definitely got me all the way but I felt like something penetrative.

I saw that the website Hello Nancy has some really good discounts atm, I absolutely love my lemon so I am tempted but the question is, is there any point getting another clit suction toy?If you have one that does the job so well, is there any reason to get a different one??

ive never owned a mini wand but do have the doxy and it’s very different to all my other vibes. I really love the very deep earthy rumbles (but it’s another noisy one!)

I think the trouble I have is the better the toy, the quicker it’s all over 😂

I had a look at the Doxy, looks good! The mini-wand I have is just an LH branded one and it is also quite noisy as is the mini-rabbit - I had the house to myself yesterday so decided to break them out 😁

The only drawback on the wand I have is that I bought it in black and it's really hard to see the control buttons, especially if you are are the middle of playing! If you want to switch it up or down it's a bit sort of, where the hell is the button, do I need to get my glasses on? 🤓 kind of thing 😂 Should have bought a different colour.

Know what you mean re the suction toy, I think if the one you have does it for you maybe you don't need another? Also re toys being too good, yes, it's nice when it takes a bit longer so that you have time to enjoy the build-up. I used to come way too quickly sometimes, I could be done in minutes whereas these days I don't know why but it seems to take longer.

This is probably waaay tmi but I often use the vibe on my nipples for a while first as it allows me to feel aroused without tipping me over the edge 😂

Well I have to say, after being a bit on the fence at first, I really like mine now. It's got a flexible head and if I use plenty of lube and circle it around my clit, it feels delicious and gets me off very nicely! But it's the only one I've had and I don't know which kind is best. I got the mini one because the bigger one was apparently noisy and heavy, according to reviewers who said their arms got tired holding it!

There are also mains-operated ones -- mine's rechargeable. I remember a while back there was a lot of buzz (pun intended - tee hee 🤭) about the Hitachi magic wand which I think is mains-operated so super-powerful, but wouldn't trailing wires be annoying? Not to mention it'd be noisy!

Yes the doxy wand is the original one and I think being plugged in gives it extra power that maybe batteries can’t. As with all these things it’s an expensive gamble if it doesn’t do more than your mini wand for you though!

You might like it though.... but the problem is as you said, @Gymbunny2025 - it's an expensive gamble if it's not for you. You see I thought you could only squirt through g-spot stimulation. I wonder if I was stimulating my g-spot somehow from the outside?
