Which Vibrator?

Hi,

I wonder if any other ladies out there might be able to advise.... I am currently going through the menopause, went onto HRT and as often happens during the menopause, my sex drive went off a cliff! And has been very low for the past few years....

Except... about two months ago I had an erotic dream and it triggered something and suddenly the urge came back so strongly! Honestly I am like a horny teenager, it's so weird and confusing! My husband got used to me never really being interested anymore, now he can't keep up lol :D

Sooo... I am looking for a vibrator. I do have a rampant rabbit that I have had for years but tbh it's way too noisy (don't want the whole house to know what I am up to every time!) and also where I used to find it really effective, I now find my body must have changed, maybe I am more sensitive and the settings are never quite right, either too intense or not enough.

I actually bought two new products - a bullet vibe from the website She Spot called The Whisperer and a love egg from LH. Haven't received them yet though!

Road tested the Bellesa AirThrust. This is the thrusting and suction rabbit vibrator. It has over 5 insertable inches, to stimulate the g-spot with a natural thrusting motion & a clitoral suction attachment. 5 thrusting, rotating & vibrating speeds. And 5 suction speeds.

Verdict - it’s good! The clit suction is not as strong as the lemon. But in conjunction with the thrusting, rotating & vibrating it works. As I’ve said before, I like clit / vag stimulation. So this is very good for that. Plus at over 5 inches of thrusting, rotating ‘ vibrating, it feels good!

I’ll try the Thumper next!

It was great. It uses suction on the clit which I love and gives me very powerful orgasms (but also way too quickly). I felt I didn’t really have a chance to find out what the internal bit can do to me! I found it a bit of a faff holding onto it to stay in place too. It was also quite noisy. Also I couldn’t get the inside bit onto the right spots that send me wild which I find much easier with a standard g spot vibe. That might be practice though!

But overall I’m excited to keep trying it out, and I definitely had a stronger orgasm than with my suction rose.

Ah, no worries, thanks 😊 I have never managed to orgasm purely through g-spot stimulation - always need clitoral stimulation as well. Maybe it's just the way I am made or maybe I just haven't met the right toy?! If the latter is the case, I would like to change that - hee hee 😄

Can you adjust the intensity of the clit sucker so you don’t come so quickly? I love a good strong clit sucker, but you don’t want it so strong that, as you say, you don’t have time to enjoy / appreciate the internal stimulation!

Thumper was surprisingly good for a freebie! It didn’t really thump though. Which, on reflection, is probably a good thing! It says it ‘thumps’ & vibrates. It does vibrate, but it taps more than thumps. It has an internal bit & a clit stim bit. I liked it, and it worked very quickly! One (minor) criticism, I’d have preferred the internal bit to be a bit bigger! Ha.

I think for me the size and shape means I can press it directly onto the spot that feels very different to the rest (during sex) and it’s a slower way for me to orgasm when I’m alone which I like!

I've always found G spot vibrators painful. Nothing replicates a finger or 2 in a hooked position.

Yes @Menomaman that’s EXACTLY my experience too. With previous partners it sometimes felt nice/different. But with DH (I’m not sure if it’s his size/shape or because of my sexual attraction to him) but he was able to get me there with G spot orgasms. And once I started I never stopped! So weird isn’t it. As you say lying on my back with my legs over his shoulders. Sometimes I have to shift a bit so he’s hitting that spot. Then when he is I just orgasm and orgasm it’s wonderful!! That's so interesting to hear! I only ever really had this feeling with the one other partner I mentioned and my husband - no-one else so maybe it is to do with the way you fit together. I have also definitely felt it with certain vibrators incl. the mini rabbit I just bought but again it's a bit hit and miss and definitely need clit stimulation as well.
