Cannot believe I am doing this. Never did I think I would get to this point, where I would be making actual moves.

Told work, manager was lovely.
Sorted out a a few nights stay at a friend's.
Hoping to pack essentials when he goes to work.

I am shivering and shaking as I write this.
Please help me get through this

Listen, even if you don't get to pack all the essentials remember that the main 'essentials' to get out are you and DC. The rest can be dealt with later.

I always say this so just in case....if there are loved ones you haven't spoken to or feel you can't speak to because he has alienated you from them, or them from you, please reach out. Chances are they have been praying for you to call and tell them you're getting out. You may have to hear a bit of 'we told you so' but it will be well worth it to have them back in your life.
