Weird comment moment on vaginas

This wasn't a relationship, just a potential physical thing that actually fizzled out before it happened, but the guy in question said he wanted to see my vagina* to check how it looked become some vaginas "look like they've been run over". Anyway, attraction went away on his part (I didn't show him!), but this comment stood out to me. He said a few other questionable things, too.

Just wondering if anyone's come across someone who seemed to have standards for vaginas like that before? Is it a porn influence? 🤔

I do remember reading about a woman who went to bed with a man who discovered she had pubic hair and said he couldn't possibly, because he preferred 'a clean plate' 🤢.

It wasn't the vagina aspect that worried me so much as the fact that I have some pretty bad stretch marks on my abdomen that I've had since a teenager; I always have to wait for the right moment to tell a man I have them and guage if he will be OK with it. The whole vagina inspection cast doubt on that!

That’s really saddening and I’m glad you blocked him. I dated 100+ men so connected and messaged with hundreds more. No one ever asked me this or indeed to send pics. And funnily enough the only man who sent me a lewd message was my own GP who connected with me on an app (he didn’t realise I was one of his patients 🤦‍♀️) (this was 2014-2019).

As has been said, that programme Naked Attraction has a lot to answer for. As if critiquing someone's 'bits' is ever going to be a positive first step in a relationship. No I've definitely had this. I have had comments and assumptions based on having 'big lips'. Some men are actually disgusting, it's more annoying that I assumed these were the decent guys. The fact that they were then confused why I didn't want to go any further or see them again went right over their heads. Mine is not pretty. Lots going on down there and a poorly healed episiotomy means none of it is symmetrical! I refer to it as a badly packed kebab, but if any man did the same I’d be mortified and he’d never go near it again.

DP loves getting down there and has never been anything other than enthusiastic about it, so I generously let him get on with it.
