For those who have actually watched his videos etc. Could you actually be with someone like that?

OP posts:
TheoTheopolis23 · 08/06/2023 09:21

equality has absolutely corroded and destroyed families and relationships.

Equality has allowed women and children to escape relationships & homes with abusive men - who make up a significant percentage of men.

If there's a parallel universe where men are not like that - go there. Unfortunately we're all trapped on t

TheoTheopolis23 · 08/06/2023 09:22

... on this dimension - reality.

He had sex trafficked women

Have you been following his case? There has been no evidence against him and all rape charges have been dropped. Regardless of your views on an individual if you, like many others on this thread, want to throw around accusations like that then I think you should at least do a small amount of research.

And what?

Most men who've raped woman have not been prosecuted for it, successfully or at all.

He has relayed extremely disturbing views of and violent behaviour towards women.

TheoTheopolis23 · 08/06/2023 09:25

And you still haven't answered why he'd let an "act" impact his life to such an extent.

Whao! I'm not an expert on Andrew Tate, but how many rape charges have been made against him?

TheoTheopolis23 · 08/06/2023 09:28

Yeah when someone is being accused of rape and sex trafficking; you have to wonder wtaf they've been doing.

Most men don't end up in cop shops defending themselves against rape and sex trafficking allegations.

I don’t think many of the people in the comments have actually watched any of his videos or read any of what he has to say.
i wouldn’t date someone like him because he seems very ‘high maintenance’ however his basic consensus is about teaching men to be
strong, work hard, keep fit, and to be providers to the women in their lives. He also believes in traditional homes with women nurturing and caring for the family and men being the protectors. He believes women shouldn’t have to worry about anything and that it’s their jobs to be the happy feminine element in the relationship and that the man should take on all the stress and worry.
I personally don’t see how his ideas about life are wrong and I do think equality has absolutely corroded and destroyed families and relationships.
I also think people don’t get how social media works, if he has said anything shocking it’s usually just tongue in cheek meant to shock so as to gain attention so people listen to what other things he has to say.

I've seen short clips of him and a documentary where he would allow the women to speak or be on camera.
Equality means men and women can be strong, work hard, keep fit and provide for themselves (and others if needed) why on earth would that be a bad thing...?

His "traditional" ways just seem to be about control and power, even if we ignore all the other stuff, that is not a healthy relationship model

BittenontheBum · 08/06/2023 09:42

He is just a noise I can choose to ignore.
I don't think he is a good role model for anyone.
I have to hope the judicial system will prevail on the right side regarding sex trafficking and rape allegations.
I remember being told by my DM as a child 'if you ignore him he will get bored and leave you alone ' when my DB was annoying me.
I wonder if we ignored him if he'd disappear up his own arse?
Sadly I doubt it, he has a large following of mainly young impressionable teens/young men.
Even Warren Jeffs still runs shit from prison.....

What’s neurodivergent? What is your line of work? I agree I think he has picked up behaviours from his father and obviously practicing them in his own life. Do you think this can be set off from adult relationships, or much earlier from childhood? Do you think there is any getting through to them

Why bother? There will be loads of men out there who think AT is a misogynistic arse. Go find one of them.

This is going to be harsh, but woman who want to "save" damaged men are deluding themselves.

Good lord... can't believe I've just read this! And yes, I have seen his posts and watched some content.

You know.... the Hand Maids Tale also thought women should have the role of familial care, be 'feminine' and let the men get on with the work and 'stress'. And all the women in that book/TV series seemed really chuffed with their lot didn't they!

The point of equality here is that it should not be a man's choice to tell women what they want or what their role should be. Some women do opt to be SAHM's in the more caring role and the men go off to work. Other women opt for the total opposite and become the main earner whilst their husband chooses to be SAHD. Its not anyone else's choice but the women in question.

And frankly, I'd rather have my 'non-macho' DH, with his sense of humour, dad-bod and (typically considered) feminine job (primary teacher) instead of some pumped up steroid-addicted Andrew Tate fanatic that reeks of toxic masculinity. I know which man I'd rather have as a role model to my sons.

I'm just pointing out that you can't even provide explanations for totally obvious questions re you "it's all an act theory".

Hence it looks like total BS.

If you post BS on here, people will question and rebut it.

Who do you think you are - that that wouldn't be the case

I'm guessing you'd also like an intact jaw bone - and not have had it "accidentally" broken by your husband.

Och these poor MMA gym bunnies - just don't know their own strength.

He does actually say in some of his videos all countries are corrupt but he would rather do corrupt things in a country (Romania) where you can pay authorities and get away with it, he says in the US or UK you need to be a billionaire to do that, so I can only assume whats happened there

OP posts:
TheHandmaiden · 08/06/2023 10:18

Tate is broken person and so too are the men who listen to him. Why do you want a damaged man? He's only going to hurt you because he lacks any self restraint and doesn't have any regard or respect for a woman.

monsteramunch · 08/06/2023 10:36

Just pasting this as I think it bears repeating OP...

I remember your other threads. And now he's a Tate fan, zero surprise there. Colour me shocked.

I'm not sure how many more giant red flags your sexist, misogynist, drug taking, neglectful dog owner arsehole of a boyfriend needs to wave in your face before you end this abysmal relationship and get away from him?

Stalkedbyzombies · 08/06/2023 10:42

His brain seems to work at AI speed and generate speech very fast in long sentences which makes what he says sound credible even if it isn't.

Namechange666 · 08/06/2023 10:44

Tooearlyor · 07/06/2023 20:53

From watching him I think he perhaps has some kind of MH difficulty or some kind of personality disorder alongside possible neurodivergence. He has a very distinct way of speaking and other mannerisms that I’ve seen before in my line of work. At some point something or someone has sparked this off and he’s quite deluded I think and probably has a lot of enablers surrounding him

Neurodiverse is not a cause of being abusive.

Namechange666 · 08/06/2023 10:45

He's a vile disgusting man who has poisoned a lot of young minds and then they wonder why no woman wants to go near them.

JorisBonson · 08/06/2023 10:50

Namechange666 · 08/06/2023 10:44

Neurodiverse is not a cause of being abusive.

Agreed. I'm ND and this is quite offensive.

BunnyBettChetwynnd · 08/06/2023 10:53

If someone like him sat next to me on a bus I'd get up and sit somewhere else.

I grew up surrounded by misogynist, aggressive men all of whom were trouble, in trouble, caused trouble and have come to nothing at best and grief at worst in their lives. ALL the women around them were hand rags and treated worse than dirt Animals were to be used or tormented (for laughs) and women were just another animal.

The sense of entitlement was sickening. The underlying inadequacy apparent.

Just the look and sound of him makes my flesh crawl because I recognise those vile men in him.
