Revenge body anyone?

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 17:24

So basically I experienced missed miscarriage, got cheated on, emotionally abused and dumped by my ex three months ago. I felt destroyed , literally broken for the first month but now I am starting to feel stronger (thanks to the supportive people on mumsnet who commented on my threads) . Trouble is I’ve been comfort eating since the break up and have put on 3 stone. 😱
I am always usually in good shape and have competed before.

Anyways long story short I’m goIng to start training again from Monday, with the aim to get my six pack back! I thought it would be nice if maybe others wanted to achieve a revenge body then I could help you with diet/ training and we can all support each other and get in shape for the festive season (Christmas party dresses ahoy) . I am not going to charge anyone for this obviously (before anyone starts to think of this as a plug for Personal training , I don’t do it for a living ). 😬

Meeeeee

Need to lose a stone and half

Bellendejour · 19/09/2018 17:37

I don’t have revenge in mind but am currently all I can eating my way through a half board holiday and could def do with some healthy eating/fitness motivation!

Glad you have found a good, positive goal after all you’ve been through. Muscle memory will kick in pretty quickly I bet.

Well done OP Smile

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 17:43

Okay so from Monday I’ll be doing :

20 mins fasted cardio on my exercise bike in the morning before I have breakfast. This helps to burn fat quicker as your body can’t use the food as fuel and therefore goes directly to your fat source 😬.
If you don’t have an exercise bike , then maybe walk the dog for twenty or use the steps in your house as an aerobic step and do for 20 mins ☺️

After work I’ll be doing arm work out which I’ll post later this evening.

In terms of diet I usually stick to 1500 Calories a day but if anyone wants specific help on macros then shout. I use My fitness Pal to count my calories , it’s a fab app and free.

I've put on 3 stone since being made redundant for the 5th time in 5 years. I really need to shift this. Please help me.

legocardsagain · 19/09/2018 18:00

Should have said, I'm disabled. Physical activity is something I really struggle with.

I need to attempt to lose this weight with diet and v v v gentle exercise 5 min max, but could probably do 4 x 5 mins per day.

Nolagerformethanks · 19/09/2018 18:00

Love this! although won't be joining in as 24 weeks pregnant! Go for it ladies I'm sure you will all look and feel AMAZING! 💪

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 18:29

@legocardsagain sorry to hear about you being made redundant! That’s a real shame Flowers I’m sure things will start to look up for you soon!

Can you expand on your disability please and maybe I can come up with some workable suggestions? Xx

I am trying to get rid of pregnancy weight! This time last year I was 53kg, now I’m 70 and can’t get below it!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭 I was promised breastfeeding would help

Storm4star · 19/09/2018 18:38

I need to lose at least 2 stone! So I'd also like to join in! I have a wardrobe of clothes that don't fit me anymore.

scotgal2017 · 19/09/2018 18:39

used to be really into fitness, doing weights, Zumba, body combat etc etc. Put some weight back on and then lost 8kg after STBXH left last year during summer. Have put back on and have been eating junk etc, so count me in!!!

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 18:41

@crispysausagerolls I’m 76kg and need to get to about 60kg so we have a similar amount to lose 😬.

Want to get involved starting Monday ? 20 mins fasted cardio in the morning ☺️ 1500 calorie diet and maybe some light weight work if you can fit it in ?

I’ll be posting my workout routine so if anyone wants to follow it they can😬 xx

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 18:44

Okay ladies I’m so loving the enthusiasm 💛. I’ll be posting my planned workouts so if anyone wants to follow them then feel free. You can then bookmark the post to make it easy to find 😬.

I’ll also post when I’ve completed the workout to help me be more accountable , feel free to do that too! It would be great to see everyone’s updates Smile

Great pic from before.

Why don't you post your diet to help for those following? (i.e. I'm guessing you're a protein girl?)

Sounds like you do weights, what are your splits?

Sorry if that sounds like an inquistion. I'm interested. :)

Iamclearlyamug · 19/09/2018 18:50

meeeee!! I want to lose a stone in 7 weeks, I try to stick to 1500 calories a day on MFP (easier said than done! 🙈🙈)

I can't do 20 minutes of fast cardio first thing in the morning though - I already leave home at 6.40 for work and have a 6 year old to get ready for school, plus I live in a flat so no stairs! I work a very physical job though - would it be better to do some of my work before breakfast? would that achieve the fat burning thing you talked about?

CaMePlaitPas · 19/09/2018 18:53

me!! I've had back to back pregnancies and I'm a mess

DrFoxtrot · 19/09/2018 18:56

Me too please! I need to lose about 9lb if possible. I'm doing the 7 day Boombod this week in an attempt to kickstart the loss Blush.

I'm still a size 10-12 but my clothes are tight and I've split two dresses. I'll be damned if I'm buying a whole new wardrobe so I need the weight off.

DrFoxtrot · 19/09/2018 18:58

There are also things coming up where I'm going to run into two exes and I want to look spanking. Mainly for myself and my poor clothes but it can't hurt for them to see me looking great Smile

anunseemlylovefordustin · 19/09/2018 19:06

Me! I used to do Crossfit, played roller derby, did weights etc but now I have 2 stone to lose after a marriage breakup - I'm a comfort eater and have needed the comfort! Count me in :)

I'm assuming if I can't manage 20 minutes faster cardio initially, then whatever I can manage will have some benefit at least, while I build up my stamina :)

Bosabosa · 19/09/2018 19:07

Oh yes please thank you!
Not exercised for a while and it would be great if I could lose 5 kgs.
Starting Monday works after a wedding and holiday this week!
Thanks OP, seeing your workouts would be great and will follow them (hopefully!)

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 19:11

@Iamclearlyamug yes defo ! if you have a physical job , maybe work for 30 mins and then have your breaky ☺️ Defo get my fitness pal to help track your calories and drink lots of water to help fill you up. Xx

@TheEmmaDilemma yes I’m a protein girl 😂 in terms of splits I tend to focus on one muscle group each day . I’ll be posting my routine up . I’ll also be posting my diet on the average day , I’ll be putting it up this evening ☺️ Xx
