Revenge body anyone?

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 17:24

So basically I experienced missed miscarriage, got cheated on, emotionally abused and dumped by my ex three months ago. I felt destroyed , literally broken for the first month but now I am starting to feel stronger (thanks to the supportive people on mumsnet who commented on my threads) . Trouble is I’ve been comfort eating since the break up and have put on 3 stone. 😱
I am always usually in good shape and have competed before.

Anyways long story short I’m goIng to start training again from Monday, with the aim to get my six pack back! I thought it would be nice if maybe others wanted to achieve a revenge body then I could help you with diet/ training and we can all support each other and get in shape for the festive season (Christmas party dresses ahoy) . I am not going to charge anyone for this obviously (before anyone starts to think of this as a plug for Personal training , I don’t do it for a living ). 😬

@JemmimaJ it’s not so much revenge on him, but to know that I can get through all that crap and bounce back, hopefully looking even better if that makes sense ? ☺️
That’s the revenge , coming back stronger and more formidable than ever xx

JemmimaJ · 19/09/2018 20:42

Thanks for explaining. Good for you then as your doing it for you.

Zofloramummy · 19/09/2018 20:47

Ok so I’m early forties, 5ft 6 and 11 Stone. 2 years ago I was a size 8. I just bought size 14 trousers for work 😱.

I’m in, I need accountability and I need a community!!

socialistmamma · 19/09/2018 20:51

I'm in too please 👍 Sick of all my trousers being too tight/not fitting at all after recent weight gain 😐 I'm 66kg, want to get down to around 60kg

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 20:59

@Newhouse76 yes a twenty minute run will defo do the job ☺️ Xx

@Zofloramummy welcome Smile yes the accountability of posting when you’ve completed a workout will really help I think 😬 xx

@socialistmamma aw 6kg, you’ll get rid of that in no time at all lovely xx

Also post break up :/ and a belly apron. Can anything be done about it? I look fairly svelte in clothes but the overhang is messing with my confidence unfortunately.

socialistmamma · 19/09/2018 21:04

@FuckItPassMeTheWine hope so 😁 x

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 21:12

@Smellyoulateralligator hello , sorry to hear about your break up Flowers . The pouch your refer to is just excess fat. It’ll come off with fasted cardio , sensible diet and if you have time to do some weights to then that will help to tighten and tone. I’ll be putting up my work outs on here. Tomorrow I’ll post what the work out routine is for next week. If you can do it all then great but if not then maybe try incorporating some of it . Something is better than nothing at all isn’t it ☺️Xx

I'm in OP, thanks for posting. Have put on 4 stone in 5 years and probably lost some muscle. 3-4 dress sizes bigger. On my own with a small child and unable to leave the house to go to the gym etc like I used to. Good luck and will be following x

Bodabing · 19/09/2018 21:28

Me! Revenge body not the point so much but his emotional affair was 10 years younger and a gym bunny. Though he didn't fully go there and has never been about the bod I want to rock up to the work Xmas do and tell her to fuck off. Even if I dump him later (possible, just have kids so making sure I make the right choice), I want to be strong and feel good.

TastelesslyDone · 19/09/2018 21:29

Man shamelessly placemarking. That picture of you from before is, quite frankly, ridiculous - in a good way.

I started running last year and have lost around two stone which is what... 12-13 kg or something. Currently 12st 9lb-ish, aiming to see 11-something on the scales by the end of the year, so 4 kilos off will do for me. All I’ll be doing is running, fuck limiting my diet and beer.

Good luck ladies.

Smurfybubbles · 19/09/2018 21:36

Place marking would love to join in! Mine is revenge on pregnancy which ruined my body but ready to start getting back to me now! I've about a stone and a half to loose but will be happy with anything as my weight has plateaued at 9st 12lbs Angry diet has mainly been addressed its exercise I need now to shift the rest.

4 years ago I was the same weight and shifted 2 stone of it through boot and and diet so I know I can do it!

Playmobilpeacock · 19/09/2018 21:37

I would like to join too.

I have weight to lose and I'm seriously unfit. DH has an exercise bike so I'm going to try that before eating.

Great idea, thank you!

legocardsagain · 19/09/2018 21:39

@FuckItPassMeTheWine

Woah this thread grew quickly!!

I have chronic pain and dodgy joints that dislocate easily. I'm hypermobile in all joints. I have quite bad fatigue as well. That affects motivation as well as my physical ability.

I can do 5 mins of cardio. I can do sit ups. I'm not sure what else I can try at home. I need to shed weight and build muscle all over.

Very interested to try exercise before breakfast. My problem is I take medication with breakfast (in bed!). If I had a shake to take medication with, would that miss the point of exercise before eating?

Also, looking at your My Fitness Pal - you have the largest proportion of calories at breakfast and fewest at tea time. And no snacks. Is this deliberate?

I'm ready to do this! Grrrr!!

lrh3891 · 19/09/2018 21:39

Yes yes yes I am in.

My ex just started seeing someone a decade younger than me. I am sure she is thin and gorgeous and full of the youthful energy I now very sorely lack! I am 2 years post-pregnancy with a raging sugar addiction, what feels like a lifetime of sleep deprivation and have aged approximately 62 years in the last 2. I have also gained almost a stone, which I am having trouble shifting.

So. Let's go!!

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 21:47

@whereisthatpenguinfrom hiya , I’ll post some alternatives to gym usage as much as possible ☺️Xx

@Bodabing oh my god imagine rocking up with abs of steel, the ow would be sick 😂 xx

@TastelesslyDone aw thanks so much flor your support and the running sounds like it’s working for you xx

FuckItPassMeTheWine · 19/09/2018 21:55

@Smurfybubbles you defo can do it! Xx
@Playmobilpeacock you’re so welcome Smile xx

@Playmobilpeacock don’t let this affect when you take your medication. That’s the priority lovely. Just do the cardio after breakfast and try to build the stamina up ☺️.
And yes I eat more in the morning as I have more time then to burn it off throughout the day, so glad you’re wanting to make some positive changes . I’ll have a think about a routine that is low impact on joints and post It over the weekend . You can adapt it as you see fit, you may use some of the ideas Smile xx

@lrh3891 welcome lovely , sorry to hear about your break up I’m sure you can do much better 💛. Revenge body it is ! 😬 xx

Great thread

DangerMouse17 · 19/09/2018 22:04

I would love to join you too! Split up with dp/fiance 6yrs ago after having my d's and I've let myself go. Everything is work and d's, so determined to find me again and revenge body would be awesome! I'm really excited about starting Grin

Sharkwithknees · 19/09/2018 22:09

Ooooh, im in!!

Applesandoranges1 · 19/09/2018 22:11

I just started my own program last week so will join you all too. Currently really unfit (used to be a runner but can barely run 1k at the moment) and I have 14lb to lose. I've become very lazy and stuck in a rut of eating well but snacking between meals and 🍷🍷🍷🍷
Go ladies!!

LuluBellaBlue · 19/09/2018 22:12

Loving this and would love to join!

Lookatyourwatchnow · 19/09/2018 22:19

OP your figure in that picture is AMAZING and also, I would love to join in with this. I would like to lose a stone but more importantly be toned. Just need to stop eating so many potatoes!
