He stormed out after a while.

I'm really shaken and I don't know what to do.

He was made redudant and is really stressed. I'm working as many hours as I can to make everything okay but he won't apply for jobs. I was looking online for him but and trying to get him interested and he just flipped.

I'm too ashamed to call up a friend and my parent's phone is engaged.

Please talk to me.

Leave, now. Then think about what to do.

Bumdrop · 09/05/2012 13:19

Get out. call police.

Icelollycraving · 09/05/2012 13:20

Omg. Pack a bag & get to your parents ASAP.
Are you physically hurt?

mistressploppy · 09/05/2012 13:20

God, you poor thing. Please try to call a friend. Keep trying your parents.

Are you on your own or with DC?

LadyWithEDS · 09/05/2012 13:20

My god. You need to get out. Please.

Petsinmypudenda · 09/05/2012 13:21

Pack and go to your parents

whattodoo · 09/05/2012 13:21

Police. No question. Are you alone, do you have children with you? If so, get out now.

Icelollycraving · 09/05/2012 13:22

Can you drive? Money for a cab? Please leave before he returns.

Icelollycraving · 09/05/2012 13:22

In fact,don't even pack,just go.

theincredibequeenofwands · 09/05/2012 13:22

I have one child, he's still at school.

I have nowhere to go. Parents are miles away. Can't leave.

Don't think I'm hurt. Feel panicy and sick.

I'm too ashamed to tell a friend.

please don't feel shame for his behaviour

and what everyone else said

TwinkleTwinklyStars · 09/05/2012 13:23

[hugs]

I agree with the previous posters, you need to leave.
Go to your parents and think things through there.
That kind of behavior is never acceptable, there are no excused.

I hope you are okay.

gregssausageroll · 09/05/2012 13:23

I have to agree. You need to leave. Are you ok? Keep with us. If you can take passports etc with you.

hopenglory · 09/05/2012 13:24

There's nothing to be ashamed about. He did this, not you.

If you won't / can't leave, call the police

LadyWithEDS · 09/05/2012 13:24

walk out the door one leg after the other.

Phone police when you are out, pick child up after police.

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 09/05/2012 13:24

Call the police. NOTHING of which to be ashamed. If she is a real friend, she will help.

jammydodger1 · 09/05/2012 13:24

Dont be ashamed, tell a friend and get out please

valiumredhead · 09/05/2012 13:24

I'd call the police so they are there when he returns. Don't feel ashamed.

Northernlurker · 09/05/2012 13:25

Why should you be ashamed? You've just been attacked. This is NOT your fault.

Pick up your bag with your purse and your phone, go to the school, get your child and then go to a friend or to your parents. You need to do this now.

Everything else can be sorted out. For now you just need to be safe.

Open the door and go. For today that will be enough.

Bumdrop · 09/05/2012 13:25

why can u not leave ????
you can't sit there waiting for him to come back and pick up where he left off or pretend nothing happened.
You can't challenge him, he's flipped.
Go to th eschool, tell them something very unexpected as come up, family emergency, and keep driving til you get to parents ......

ChasedByBees · 09/05/2012 13:25

Please call the police - he should leave. You can't stay in an environment where he might do this again. So sorry this happened but you don't have to feel any shame, you've done nothing wrong.

mrsalwaysawake · 09/05/2012 13:25

Just leave. You can go and pick up your child later, but leave the house now.
