Jesus! Just had the longest message from a 'fire fighter and part time rugby player' asking me to consider meeting him. Married! Enclosed a pic for my attention. Let's just say I hope I never have a fire that needs putting out Hmm

Thanks girls, really useful thoughts. I was cool about it but my fellow internet dating mate just gave me a stern talking to and reality check - but then that is her job.
I'm going for it, but maybe at my house not his as I have firends more locally. I will let you know how it goes Wink

Gah. Still nothing at all going on here. Chatting on and off to a nice bloke on okc but he doesn't seem in any hurry to ask me out Hmm I might cave in and ask him sometime but I can hold out for now Wink

Given the total absence of any contacts from my profile on OKC (except of course the visits by the wonderful women on this thread + lurkers) I've changed my profile pic to see if it elicits any response!

They'll probably delete the pic, but anything's worth a shot! :-)

Zany, rude pics of me are rude/offputting rather than rude/alluring.

I put that pic on my FB wall and one of my female friends said "RIP bear" and one of my male friends offered to drop his strides for me, but he is of Greek extraction. ;-)

Daily mail readers would be a bit of a non starter for me I'm afraid. :) Unfortuantely, the four luffley men i've earmarked haven't been online for around three weeks or so. In my mind this means they've met someone lovely and have abandonned internet dating.

juust got a message from a guy on smooch - 'this might be a somewhat unconventional chat up line, but would you like a ride in my tardis? apparently we're very good friends at some stage.'. ( I may have casually mentioned my doctor who obsession) he's not bad looking at all, but a bit of a player - I get the suspision he would fuck anything - although that might just be my confidence issues.

maybe I just need a shag. hmmm.

Report
Snapespeare · 12/10/2011 15:13

my spelling and grammar is atrocious. suspect a shag won't sort that out.

Report
PoppaRob · 12/10/2011 15:15

snapes, can you spot the disconnect in saying "a bit of a player - I get the suspision he would fuck anything" followed by "maybe I just need a shag"?

You can't have it both ways, although I guess you can but that leaves you just needing a shag.

I liked Guardian Soulmates, but all the men were in London or oxford... bit far for me :(
