I like it maxy. I love that song too one of my favs. I am off to take Olivia to nursery in the rain so i will be soaked. Lets see how many looks i get with my new pushchair

5inthebed · 01/06/2010 12:24

You're definitely on the ball today Maxy!

Basl, isn't it half term there? Mine are off until next Tuesday!

I've just washed the covers on the mac, as DS3 had somehow managed to rub chocolate all over them . Going to swap it for my friends apple one . Picked up a raincover off ebay, brand new, not maclaren one, but looks so similar you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Fab!

Rainy and miserable here today

basl · 01/06/2010 12:34

No 5in it was bank holiday yesterday but nursery still on. Next week they have a holiday but not half term here.

We are all so tired in this house today after daniel decided he wanted breakfast at 4am. He ate two weetabix and a huge glass of milk and said more please mummy. He is getting really lazy at eating dinner now and i think i should give him supper so he does not wake hungry he was like something from the wild screaming breakfast!!!! We are all just chilling out but off out to brave the elements and i am still sweating away here as it is very muggy.

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 12:42

Scotland have diff hols don't they?

Half term here and Matthew home so nice

IN middle of phographing all of my clothes to sell, trying to be ruthless and not doing very well

GeekOfTheWeek · 01/06/2010 16:02

Half term here too.

Fed up of them all ready

GeekOfTheWeek · 01/06/2010 16:04

Think I need a new pushchair with all terrain tyres. Are there any lightweight ones out there? Had a urban detour, was nice but too big and heavy to get in and out of the boot.

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 16:06

nipper is probably your best bet geek if you want light. Baby joggers are fab and easy to push but heavy to lift. nipper is very light for what it is.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 01/06/2010 16:20

Definitely a nipper Geek. BJ are good, really light to push, but a nightmare to lift in and out of the car.

Meant to be going to the beach on Thursday, weather better be nice!

misdee · 01/06/2010 16:22

can anyone answer my MB question please

GeekOfTheWeek · 01/06/2010 16:32

Which nipper? Have seen out and about and nipper 360. Are they the same thing?

misdee, not well up on mb.

roastedfox · 01/06/2010 16:33

ooo maxy you putting them on tonight?

misdee · 01/06/2010 16:37

ah thanks. have found out it should be 75cm wide. so am going to remeasure my front door and hope it fits through. as dont want to be folding it up everytime i want to come in the house.

misdee · 01/06/2010 16:39

bugger, door opening is 72cm

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 16:48

yes - you can get nipper 360 new and then they did fixed wheel which you can't buy new anymore. Oh and they do nipper sport fixed wheel new still - has bigger back wheels! Still quite light - had one of those too

Misdee is that right? makes it wider than the baby jogger elite and thought that was one of the widest? my door is 78 sorry....

yes roasted hopefully!

OP posts:
roastedfox · 01/06/2010 16:54

i'll keep my eyes peeled then

BexieID · 01/06/2010 17:10

I've got clothes to photograph too and really can't be bothered, lol. Theres a baby charity shop here, so might just drop it all off there. Fill the Graco up and leave that to. My bit for charity.

After buying wraps for Erin, I think they do make here sore, so won't be using re-usables for sure. Took me long enough to find the Motherease ones last time.

5inthebed · 01/06/2010 17:23

Geek, get the 360 as swivel wheel.

Bexie you still want first dibs on micralite if I decide to sell?

Kids driving me mad! I've got loads to list on Ebay tonight, after I take photos. Kids running riot and constantly on the want

BexieID · 01/06/2010 17:26

How much and what colour? Is it the newer style FF?

5inthebed · 01/06/2010 17:45

It's the newer style in red. Probably looking for £90 posted for it if I decide to sell.

basl · 01/06/2010 17:52

Misdee, I know about doors being too narrow mine is 65cm wide and a pinta. I know the new MB are 63cm but the old ones are bigger than the Elite i believe. I feel your pain

Maxy you have mail!!

Geek the nipper 360 is lovely and light.

Bexie i have stuff lying here since goodness knows how long and i think i may charity as well.

BexieID · 01/06/2010 18:07

5in, i'll pass sorry as don't want to pay anymore than £60 posted for FF as would rather spend extra and get a Superlite, iykwim.

I actually sold my Micralite in bits on ebay. £13 for r/c, £15 for rear wheels and £12 for rear axle/brake and still have handlebar, front wheels, hood, headhugger and strap pads!

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 18:10

I knew the door expert would be here soon hee hee. It's funny isn't it - before all of your trouble basl i would never have given that a second though, now I consider it a lot!! Even though I don't have door issues - though elite does not fit through my parents door.

You have mail back!

Bexie di you have any luck with the second terry thingy? was that today did you say? gosh i can't even remember last night these days

OP posts:
5inthebed · 01/06/2010 18:17

No problem Bexie. I wouldn't mind trying a superlite. Never realised they reclined further than FF.

Well done on selling the parts.

misdee · 01/06/2010 18:21

the door at my old place was massive. but this door is a standard size but bwecause of the wall behind it doesnt open fully.

i really would prefer a side by side double, not a tandem. but looks like it would have to be a tandem. i have an MB terrain double coming tomorrow and am going to try and squeeze it through the front door. because i really want to keep it, and not kieep buying and selling.

basl · 01/06/2010 18:30

oh i know misdee. My front door has been such a saga for me and everyone on here. I think it is famous.
