"Let me know the wonder of all of you"
Love that song Flyme and i do prefer the Barry Manilow version.
I will tell you a funny story about when my sister who was a medical researcher went to south Africa with her work and called home to ask my parents if she could invite a friend home who was going to visit Edinburgh. Of course my parents agreed then she told them she was a Zulu. We were all waiting anxious to meet this girl Touili her name was. Well after the dinner and she had a few drams of my dads Malts she was singing away and i put on Paul Simons Graceland and asked her to show me some zulu dancing. My family did not know where to look but she was up for it. What a laugh then my gran stunned everyone by asking her if she knew any songs from show Boat. We soon stopped laughing but she found it funny anyway. So yes i like varied music.

basl · 01/06/2010 22:56

Flyme have you seen my new pushchair and guess who's liner is on it??

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/06/2010 22:59

Is it Lucy from Snunkie?

Thank you basl I did indeed admire the pics of your latest pushchair. I want pics when you get the new hood too.

basl · 01/06/2010 23:01

So when you are all settled in your new home you really should get your liner business up and running. Shame to waste your talents.

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 23:16

dunoon. I was just sooooo confused and had thought I reallt had lost the plot as could not see any link to cat scratching thingies. Sorry wasbeing nosy

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/06/2010 23:47

basl · 01/06/2010 23:50

I'm sure the bjcm will take a carrycot. Even the Bjcmicro should. Email Bj or check their official website. Afaik the only accessory that won't fit all models is the jump seat, which requires a solid footplate to work.
I'm up too early. Ds almost 2 just moved into his own room (from being next to my bed) and woke up lonely. Couldn't settle him so early breakfast n
Tv for now.
My bee + might arrive today! hope so.

5inthebed · 02/06/2010 07:47

My favourite song HMG

Dunoon, I have a mahoosive cat tree, got it for free off a friend. Cat still scratches my settee though as well as that . I love a good troll thread, which one was it? Was it the honeytrap one?

Kids had me up really early as well .

basl · 02/06/2010 09:25

Morning, Glad to see i am not the only one who sings.
HMG it is a black city classic with the silver wheels. It is narrower than the black wheels one i had so fits. Now i have a slight problem and not a massive one but it's bugging me.

When i ordered this i was told they had one left in stock. When it arrived it came in the elite box and heavily taped up. Now i know i asked for the lady to check the wheels so i expected that. The wheels seemed slightly dirty more so than brand new. Do you if you bought a pushchair that the wheels had been scrubbed but still had a little dirt on. It also had a few scratches on the part where the front wheel attaches and the wheels have a few scratches on the decorative parts. Now i am wondering if this is a return or ex display. It is immaculate in every other way just annoying me slightly that i paid full wack. There was also no instructions which was a bit odd. Am i being a bit picky also the hood came attatched to the stroller which does not normally happen. What do we think??

carrielou2007 · 02/06/2010 09:25

Morning, lol at cat tree we do have diverse conversations

Taking ds to get weighed in a min the chunky monster

Nice bit of Take That mmmm, much prefer them now I even like Gary Barlow, seems such a nice chap.

carrielou2007 · 02/06/2010 09:27

Hmm, one of the things I love about new buggies is the brand spanking new smelling tyres even ex-display should have fabbi wheels basl?? I would defo ring to discuss if it were me??

basl · 02/06/2010 09:34

Glad to hear your ds is doing well Carrie Yes i have spoken to them but they say it has never left the box. Not convinced but still good enough i suppose. Just think i have been diddled a bit.

horsemadgal · 02/06/2010 10:05

Sounds odd basl, should def have instructions attached even if ex-display.
And must have left the box if in wrong box!

basl · 02/06/2010 10:14

Mmm that's what i thought HMG i just have seen too many brand new pushchairs to spot these things. When i went to attatch the front wheel the plastic bit was kind of scrapped a bit like the wheel had been on then off. Still not a great problem just i don't like to be diddled iykwm.

What pushchair do you have these days?

horsemadgal · 02/06/2010 10:57

basl, using Bee for everyday, BOB for snow/country/etc and MacLaren in car.
Got a couple I need to sell though.

basl · 02/06/2010 11:08

oh are you not keeping you dakar then??? I thought you had that lovely black one?

horsemadgal · 02/06/2010 11:18

Yes it had to go back as the lock jammed when folded gah! It was lovely too.
Lady said it was ok when she got it back, very odd!
