Ah makes me feel better then

That takes me back all the weaning. Did it by the book with Olivia and made everything from scratch and just as the book said. Poor Daniel did not get the same. However he is a very good eater and sits at the table on a proper chair like the rest of us. He hates all form of chips, potatoes anything made with potatoes just like his sister. When i think of the hundreds of sippy cups i got for Olivia it was terrible as Daniel drinks out of an open cup and never bother with sippy cup.

BexieID · 02/06/2010 23:36

Don't talk to me about cups . Think we tried every kind going with Tom. Think Tom is about 36lb.

maxybrown · 02/06/2010 23:40

Oh I hate sippy cups now too, James used a cup very early on. I take a sippy cup if we go out for the day but that's it now really, hate the blasted things.

I came in this morning to find him making a cup of tea - he had the hot water from the kettle and milk but he couldn't reach the storage container with the tea bags in!!!

OP posts:
basl · 02/06/2010 23:41

Well i know you said don't but i will just a wee bit. We gave daniel a straw and he did very well. Then just the normal tt ones and then he just picked my glass and drank out of it so there you go. How old is Tom now bexie???

basl · 02/06/2010 23:44

at James making a cuppa. does he prefer a cuppa tea to coffee then.

BexieID · 02/06/2010 23:47

Tom was 4 in April.

I'm sure we've caught Tom trying to make a cup of tea before. At least they remember to boil the kettle first. Theres been a couple of times in the last month where i've just poured cold water into my tea cup .

maxybrown · 02/06/2010 23:55

I know Basl, he does like a cup of tea these days! Right off to bed, head killing me nighty night all x

basl · 03/06/2010 12:28

Result look at this

Marie,

After some investigation, a member of our sales team has remembered that
they once assembled this pram to show a customer. It seems that once it was
taken back to our warehouse to be re-packed, it has been packaged into the
incorrect box without the instructions. This is the only way this error
could have occurred. I can re-assure you that this pram has not been out on
display and is not a return.

I can order you some instructions which I will send onto you a.s.a.p. and as
way of apology we will refund you £30.00

GeekOfTheWeek · 03/06/2010 12:56

Great news basl Enough for your liner?

Nice here again today, off to the park after lunch.

Out for an italian tonight with the girls from baby group. Am so excited for a wine!

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2010 13:05

Oh good basl, result!
I have been into town and got two bedside lamps cheap in argos for me and DP and then one expensive clamp on bedside lamp for DD1 for her loft bed.
lovely here. Yet more washing out and the clean dry stuff not put away.
We will head to the park later.

basl · 03/06/2010 13:07

Hi geek, yes snunkie here we come. It was Italian i was out for at the weekend and it was delicious. I am giving up alcohol to try and help with my losing weight. I drink wine like juice and end up so drunk. Shame i cant in moderation but i gave up for a long time before and still enjoyed myself. Just the temptation for a glass of wine is sooooo hard i love it. My mum offers wine like you would someone a coffee. Even the girl that comes to do her nails loves she gets offered wine first.

We are off out to get Olivia and Daniel some outfits for a birthday party on Saturday. Both growing so much and new clothes needed.

Enjoy your night Geek and enjoy the wine [green]

basl · 03/06/2010 13:07

i meant

horsemadgal · 03/06/2010 13:15

Yay good result basl.

basl · 03/06/2010 13:18

flyme, how is the new place. Have you been house doctoring it. Have you had to buy a lot of new things for it? Do you feel a bit more settled now?

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2010 13:27

Feeling pretty settled basl but most doctoring has ground to a halt really as we now need to organise an ikea trip for bookshelves and a tv unit.
The children's rooms are all set up now, bathroom needs a towel rack and a little storage unit of some kind, Kitchen is 99% there, living room needs a chair or small sofa and the tv thing and the bookshelves, dining room bit is just a wilderness of boxes, oh and our old washing machine! Garden lovely.
I must make a massive list. Actually writing all that down has helped clarify some of it.
Anyone ordered online from ikea?

basl · 03/06/2010 13:48

No sorry the one here is in Edinburgh so not too far and if ever we have needed the seats go down in our car. Just read back all my questions there and i bet you felt like the thumb screws were about to come out and the torch light in your face. Sorry about that just wondering how you were getting on. Has happened all so quick for you.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2010 13:59

I get so jealous of my mum getting the bus to ikea. I would be eating meatballs with lingon berry sauce all the time

basl · 03/06/2010 14:02

Mmmmmm i love that too. Always a good excuse to go to ikea. Oh Flyme you always manage to get me hungry for a bit cake or something and now i can thing about nothing other than those meatballs and the dried out chips. Luv them.

Multimummy · 03/06/2010 15:32

Well done basl!

Just popped online after registering my new buggy - at bugaboo - the bee plus arrived.

I did not enjoy assembling the canopy thankfully it only has to be done the once (unless I buy another colour!)...

It looks fab - I wasn't sure - until I sat DS in it - but it looks HUGE - I extended the seat to the max - masses of growing room - makes a nice place for a nap.

It probably won't fit in our zafira boot (with all 7 seats in use) but might fit in the footwell of the front seat (while I'm sat there)...

Have tucked it away in Ds's room - beside his wardrobe - very neat to store..... just aswell as have not got around to mentioning this purchase to dh!

Off to list more stuff on ebay...(thinking of impending bill).

Think it's first test drive tomorrow will be the train and a trip around Ikea - treat for the kids (lunch in the cafe there is civilised and cheap).

5inthebed · 03/06/2010 17:23

Afternoon ladies. I've been to the beach all day today. Lovely and gorgeous here today.

Maxy, just weighed DS3 and he is 28lbs , and only 18 months!

Basl, nice result on pram. Glad they admitted what they'd done and you weren't going mad
