Is it a double with carrycot Misdee that you're looking for? Baby Joggers take carrycots, but not sure if the mini ones do.

misdee · 01/06/2010 18:34

yes, ideally one with a carrycot.

basl · 01/06/2010 18:39

My front porch was built by the owner and it is a non standard size. A bit like Alice in Wonderland. So goodness knows what i would have to do if i needed a double. I suggested extending the door but that was not a popular suggestion. I love baby joggers Misdee.

Oh no maxy will it be scared

misdee · 01/06/2010 18:40

will see if i can borrow a citymini double.

i tried a cityclassic double, but the handle was wider than the wheel base and wouldnt go tyhrough

basl · 01/06/2010 18:43

Well i think the citymini is diff shape handle?

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 18:46

yes, I imagine it will

I tried to watch that on Sunday night, but DS3 was up and wouldn't go to sleep. I enjoy Terry Pratchet series, but can't get into his books. Same as Stephen King.

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 21:04

Same here 5in! DH loves the books of both of them as well but I just can't manage them

Will email you now Bexie.

I have just uploaded loads of pics of some cds if any interest? all either 50p or a £1 plus cheapy post here

I love dancing with the kids and we usually put party music on really loud and dance about my livingroom. I do like your collection.

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 21:18

Evening, ds been a monkey today, not slept since 20 mins at 11.30am...finally after trotting up and down two flights of stairs since 7pm he is asleep

Maxy, I had loads of cd's that I just didn't know what to do with and sold them on magpie.com all for 30-50p each but all gone out my house nice and easy

I watched that postal thing today - most peculiar, quite good but most odd!!

Double buggies, not something I will ever need am quite fancying a nipper now, are they that diff to MB urban?? Not that fussed on it but like to keep a 3 wheeler in the collection for the beach here/running/snow etc.

5inthebed · 01/06/2010 21:38

Good grief Maxy! Gareth Gates, Pop Idol and Busted! If I'd known I'd never have started talking to you .

basl · 01/06/2010 21:40

Carrie, know the feeling my ds has been playing up all day and just managed to get him to sleep now. Something going on he was up all night last night. He has eaten very well today so lets just see if he wakes at 4am shouting breakfast again.

I love the nipper but the nipper did not love my ds. He is now 22mths but tall and was squished in the nipper. Now i know that is not the norm but i do like how compact and light it is and would have been ideal for my doorway but the giant boy did not look comfy. Nicola's children on the other hand are fine so yeah would recommend the nipper. I think the MB are wider and taller seat etc.

Maxy i will try and describe the ones i want . I love that film it is one my h fave films too. We have watched that night after night and never tire of it. The big sister in that film reminds me of mine.

basl · 01/06/2010 21:46

maxy i have replied on your cd thread. Oh and 5in i love Take That but then i love love love the who so explain that one

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 21:49

ha ha 5in - they were all bought when I worked at school. I was a nice teaching assistant you see, always took music in. Not my thing - well Busted are ok for dancing around to with kids Not a Take That fan either I'm afraid......well some of their newer stuff is quite good.

5inthebed · 01/06/2010 21:58

I'm a Take That groupie . Me and my friend went to see them when they came back, and we were 15 again, screaming and singing along to all their songs. Couldn't go to their last concert as was 6 months pregnant.

basl · 01/06/2010 22:08

I love take that there come back song was played at my sisters funeral because she loved it so much. But on a cheery note if we ever do get our meet up organized i would love a hall where mn would organize a night and have a disco. Or a pyjama party playing all our own fave stuff.

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/06/2010 22:26

Evening all.
My DCs have been at grandmas for three days and within two hours of our reunion I was at my wits end. The horror of half term.
My CD collection is not so up to date but does have a high cheese content with the best of Barry Manilow. I do find Take that strangely compelling these days Maybe it's my age.
I like a dance but my era was the 80s. Lots of singing goes on here too. In fact DD3 loves horses and one film in particular about a horse called Spirit. Cue me bursting into 'spirit move me, every time I'm near you,....'which of course could be Barry or Take that.

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 22:28

Is that what you call an up to date cd collection? lol! I quite like Barry Manilow actually. Not to go to a concert or anything but you know. Tis not my whole collection here either before anyone else ribs me - bet you'd all have a dance to half of it given the right medication first

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/06/2010 22:45

Oh yes I'd be up there shaking my booty [or whatever]
5in do you actually have one of those cat scratching things? They are massive. I'm thinking of getting one since we are in rented now and I'm paranoid about the carpets and stair bannisters. Mind you my sofa cover takes the brunt of it already.

maxybrown · 01/06/2010 22:47

dunoo - where did the cat scratching thing come from???
