Jesus these children are driving me mad. i am letting them all sit up on the sofa in their jammies to watch Glee and it's non stop nastiness, squealing [I can't stand the squealing] hitting, fighting and knocking things over.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:45

wow outfit sounds fab basl.

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 19:46

Basl, you should get yourself to Sports Soccer, they had Crocs for £5 for little ones.

I've bought DS3 some Clarkes Doodles with Thomas on them, he loves them!

Yes Basl, I'd like a blue fastfold. I like the improvement on the hood and recline. Not many places have them on display so can't go play with one.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 19:53

dunoon i know the feeling mine are now in bed...thank god!

basl outfit sounds divine i would be awful if i had a little girl

crocs shouldn't rub tbh they last 2 summers in this house and i think they are fab so soft and pliable and just wash them up when dirty good on beach too and for little ones to put on/off by themselves. Love them.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 19:53

oh basl clarks sandals luka has are 7.5g btw

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 19:57

Have just been rofl-ing to this thread about live webchat with sportacus.
I am in the kitchen now and the fiends have the sofa to themselves. Only wish I had some chocolate.

maxybrown · 18/06/2010 20:24

Basl, James has electro crocs and no blisters, he loves them - have a real hard time getting them off him

carrielou2007 · 18/06/2010 20:33

Nicola forgot to say no sheepskin in our TKMaxx but a silver silver cross dazzle I got a tip off for that was lovely but would get filthy!!!!

Basl dd has found crocs so comfortable with or without socks and last year got them for I think 13 delivered and two pairs this year for a fiver a pair - but this has now ended - in sports direct??

Just been dribbling over the pics of sporticus and robbie rotten in 'real life'

basl · 18/06/2010 20:40

Well i must go back and say daniel has had no blisters from the crocs. It was the little grey plimys from next that his dad had on him for a bbq without socks. It was olivia that had blisters. The lady explained that she could wear no bother without socks but they slid up and down a bit and she does have skinny wee feet so i think a wee bit friction with the black crock bit iykwm.

It's my dh birthday today and he is off out to Edinburgh with my friends partner to watch the England game. Not seen him hardly at all today but we had a lovely morning. Don't want to put you off your nibbles but he had a bath with the kids at 7am this morning as a wee treat. He normally gets shower to his self and just goes to work. He dressed them and made us brekkie because he knew he was getting a good night/day out 5.30 Olivia wrapped him a wee pressie she nicked from her grandad. It was a envelope opener thingy and she thought it was a sword. She celotaped it so much but my dh was so delighted. My card was two very old people and the old man was looking at what looked like a computer and he says "this internet is great" and the very old lady says "it's a bloody microwave" not hillarious but i wrote that i hope this will be us and he was so chuffed and i think agreed with me.

5inthebackofthenet · 18/06/2010 20:53

What colour Dazzle was it Carrie? I've always wanted to try one.

Me and DS1 watching Gremlins. DH at my mams watching football.

nicolamumof3 · 18/06/2010 21:31

basl thats brought a tear to my eye. things sound much more harmonious in your household atm, more relaxed?

im trying to create a photo book of our holiday atm.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 21:52

Robbie Rotten who would have known?!
Anywho I got one pair of crocs off ebay last year and one pair from a charity shop. Still going strong and no blisters.
DP at his brother's watching the football.

basl · 18/06/2010 22:14

ok so my daughter has abnormal feet well nothing new in this house Daniel has crocs too and no blisters. Maybe his fit better.

Flyme i am going to visit you and go on a charity shop trail how many bargains can you find. Me and my sister went for a trip to St Andrews [very pawsh] specifically to look at the charity shops thinking that prince William went to the uni here so there must be some upper crust stuff and it was so disappointing. One lady told us the charity shop was dying and they sell all their good stuff to ebay sellers

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/06/2010 22:17

charity shops are fickle and i am sure would never produce on demand.
i think i find the bargains as i haunt them these days. excuse no caps but the cat is on my knee and i have hold the laptopin one hand.

basl · 18/06/2010 22:23

Nicola i love photo books. I have so many pics on the computer and i used to do this faithfully after every holiday and weekend away etc and got very lazy now. Yes very nice think to keep.

5inthebackofthenet · 19/06/2010 08:12

Morning everyone.

Dunoon, there is a charity shop in the posh village near me, and I am so tmpted to go there. Someone I know once bought a Bugaboo frog for £50 from there, practically brand new. I just can't bring myself to drive there, still finding my legs after my crash.

Basl, how are you this morning? Sounds positive what your H said yesterday.

Its miserable and cloudy here today. Hope it doesn't rain as we're meant to be taking boys to the Hoppings tomorrow. Not sur if it comes near anyone else, but it is a massive travelling fun fair, biggest in Europe. So much fun, but not in the rain.

basl · 19/06/2010 08:24

Awwww 5in that sounds great. I love a good fun fair. Don't go on anything but i do love to watch the kids.

Well Dh did not return home from The big Smoke [edinburgh} but neither did i on my night out. He is staying with my friend that i stayed with. She just sent me a message telling me he and her partner are both snoring their heads of in her sitting room. She had a flat with the kitchen and sitting room all one and she is desperate for a cuppa. I just told her to get in there and start crashing and banging hee hee

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2010 09:43

Basl i expect its nice for your dh to have had a break too we all need it eh? Even with hangover bet he comes home pleased to see you all?

Anyone for a boden change bag? www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/23305064 fab bag i just don't really need change bags anymore and i have my babymel i just hung onto it for hols as looks fab with yellow volo.

basl · 19/06/2010 10:41

ooooooh love that bag nicola does go nice with yellow that blue colour. Please don't get me into bags too lol

The sun is scortching here today and we are off to my sisters for a pool party. hope you all have a great day!!!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2010 10:53

Drizzle expected here and we are off to the school fete soon.
DP got home very early, well 9.00 am, from his brothers. Not asked but I expect he is fed up about the football.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2010 13:06

its fffrreeeeezing here. And i am so fed up with grizzling, screaming, shouting kids. They are driving me nuts. Went to retro sweet shop, park then few shops its all i want i want i want from Tate. Then luka had major strop that i wouldn't let him push nipper down busy high st. on a saturday

Am just totally drained by these kids and the relentless non stop of it all this week.

I need to sell quest, maybe volo and loads of bits and pieces too.

Plus my sheepskin liner came whilst i was out so have to wait to monday now grrrrr.

5inthebackofthenet · 19/06/2010 13:55

I am so happy I could cry! We have been awarded top priority on the council housing list, so hopefully be moving to a house very shortly! Within three months if the letter reads true. I just want to burst into tears. No more being stuck indoors in the summer

Although if typicalbritish weather, we will be anyway

GeekOfTheWeek · 19/06/2010 15:17

Lovely news 5in

maxy & diva, manchester sounds good. Let me know when you are going. We could go for some lunch maybe?

I need to tell you all about last nights shameful antics We had lots of friends round for a bbq and the football. Dh was cooking and i was quaffing red wine and socialising. Got absolutely legless and passed out at ten past 7

To make it worse, my mum and grandparents turned up at half 8 just as i was spewing all over the en suite. I am mortified.

On a positive note I got a second wind, had a coffee and then did dancing competitions on the wii til midnight!

Have got the most severe form of wine flu today. I think it may be terminal.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2010 15:55

lol geek you do make me smile. Especially when these boys are driving me up the flaming wall. I find it so hard at the w/end on my own with them.

5in thats great news really pleased fo ryou!

maxybrown · 19/06/2010 16:14

Geek

5in that's fabulous news, we lived in a flat and it can be sooooo miserable in the summer - regardless of the weather it will be that you have the option to go outside in your garden should you wish to besides - you can always chuck the boys out no matter what - like I did with James hee hee. Really pleased for you.
