Thank you, checking in! I am 4w2d today, with a due date of 23rd September. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

Welcome guys ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿฉท @Xur @Decaffe @cd24x

Hope youโ€™re all good ๐Ÿฉท

Thanks for setting this up! Iโ€™m just place marking! Having a wobble today - I found out yesterday ๐Ÿ™ˆ I only have cheapie tests left after going a tad crazy on the clear blue and FRER yesterday. Took a test this morning and again tonight and neither are strong. Tonightโ€™s potentially looks negative (possible line eyes). Scared I am having a chemical (after cancelling my surgery next month).

Mncrmum · 17/01/2024 21:07

4+5 today, estimated September 20th. Baby #3, found out yesterday, totally unexpected. Really unsure how to feel about this and feel guilty for feeling this way. dDs are 2.5 & nearly 5 .. have been out of baby zone for a while and being thrown back into it is quite overwhelming. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

MrsB2019x · 17/01/2024 21:27

Place marking! Thanks for setting up the new thread ๐Ÿฉท

HoneyandSunshine · 17/01/2024 21:56

@tierneytarny Did you find out yesterday as in, very very new pregnancy or just happened to find out recently? I definitely donโ€™t recommend CB weeks, I feel like those things just cause more anxiety than good ๐Ÿ˜ซ hope youโ€™re okay though? ๐Ÿงก

@Mncrmum 3rd here too! Eldest about to turn 4 next weekโ€ฆ youngest 2. In the trenches of toddlerhood ๐Ÿ‘€ I think weโ€™re mad. We have days where I look at the chaos and big emotions around me and I genuinely think โ€œshit, a third? Can we manage?โ€ so, I hope that helps you feel less alone. Itโ€™s ok to feel bewildered and question whether youโ€™re doing the right thing. Iโ€™m literally right beside you, feeling the same. Excited but very scared. Feeling guilty for feeling that way. Feel free to offload here โค๏ธ

@MrsB2019x Hey!! Good to see a familiar name ๐Ÿ˜

I canโ€™t believe how quickly we filled the other thread. By the time our babies are born there will be like 30 parts.

MudandMoet · 17/01/2024 22:11

Hey!! Place marking too ๐Ÿ’•

tierneytarny · 17/01/2024 22:24

I literally tested positive yesterday- my FRER and digital and my CB weeks all showed as positive but my mom med cheapies have either only shown a line after the timeframe or have shown no line at all.

Very much planned and wanted baby number 3 but we stopped trying when my surgery date came through. I had an appt yesterday afternoon (promoted my testing as thought there was a small chance) so rang the hospital and they cancelled everything immediately for my surgery.

Suddenly feel a bit foolish. I know the more reliable brands say pregnant but worried that the mom med tests arenโ€™t.

HolyMoly24 · 17/01/2024 22:26

Just checking into part two ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm getting so excited now, but worried I'm getting ahead of myself

Starlight11111 · 17/01/2024 22:34

Checking in to this new thread! Think that might be a record for how fast we got to 1K ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿฅฐ

ForeverHopeful67 · 17/01/2024 22:58

@TTCSoManyQuestions88 in response to the other thread, that's awful. Im so sorry you're not supported at work! But do somewhat understand as im a senior manager at my company so there's only a certain level of "flexibility" I can have!
I hope you get some relief soon!
Some people swear my travel sickness bands - worth a try?!

Has everyone booked they're "booking in / first appointment" with the midwife yet? Going by my last period I'll be 9 weeks on Sunday and I've still heard nothing from the maternity ward ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Fik88 · 17/01/2024 22:59

Checking in to this thread aswel.
Its also my 3rd but my kids are older 11 and 8

ForeverHopeful67 · 17/01/2024 23:02

@MrsB2019x I'm also in the same position! Have a close family members birthday the first weekend of February, and they want to do something the Friday and Saturday! I just don't know how I'm going to make excuses for both nights as I'm usually a drinker so they wouldn't definitely suss if I went and didn't drink! But equally I feel awful saying no to both nights!

Owww can we be 12 weeks already so this gets easier haha!

doitjustice95 · 17/01/2024 23:08

Hi @ForeverHopeful67

My GP advised me that the booking appointment is usually at the 7/8 weeks mark and itโ€™s booked in for early Feb.

Iโ€™m not sure how it works in your locality but I was asked to self refer to the antenatal team online and chased them to ensure I had an appointment booked in.

doitjustice95 · 17/01/2024 23:17

Hi @TTCSoManyQuestions88

Iโ€™m an accountant at one of the Big4 and itโ€™s currently our busy season so can most definitely relate to the struggle, I really hope you start to feel better and have an easier time ahead.

Iโ€™m not wanting to alert anyone at work as Iโ€™m currently at 5/6 weeks and I just feel asking for support now may not be a good look. Iโ€™m waiting to get to 12 weeks hopefully and see what can be done then.

Wibbles64 · 17/01/2024 23:18

Hello, joining the party at 6w6d

After a mmc last year it's been a stressful few weeks, with lots of spotting and cramping, but we were super happy to see a heartbeat at our scan yesterday. Just seems forever to wait until 2nd Feb for booking in.

After 1 day of worrying slightly less, have now got horrible diarrhea after a week of constipation and so much wind the cats leave the room. Hope everyone else is having a better day!

Starlight11111 · 17/01/2024 23:46

Hi everyone! I am so so happy for all of you reaching milestones and having scans, your reassurance and positivity is catching! Welcome to newbies joining us too!

1 week today until my scan ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐ŸŒˆ

Totally relate to those who need excuses not to drink. I've already had some bits go into my diary for February that I don't know how to handle. January being "dry" is something I do every year - phew. I'm also going on a hen do at 10 weeks, wish me luck ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿซ

Megan004 · 17/01/2024 23:46

Just been catching up! Congrats to all just joined, lots of us here due for September how lovely ๐Ÿ’•

TTCSoManyQuestions88 · 18/01/2024 00:47

When are you telling your own parents/close family? I'm finding it really hard keeping it a secret, mostly because of the nausea and how much it's affecting me I guess. My GP said to tell no one until 12 weeks but...even if something bad happens, do I want to keep this a secret?

Labyrinth86 · 18/01/2024 00:59

@TTCSoManyQuestions88 I've already told my parents, siblings, and parents in law. I'm only 3+4 but I was supposed to have a medical procedure yesterday and opted out. I don't like lying so I was honest. Tbf though I told them before 8 weeks with my first pregnancy and my second and I'm glad I did because my second was a molar pregnancy and I needed the support. I've been on the receiving end of the news 'family member had a miscarriage' before I'd been told they were pregnant and it hit different - like I went from not knowing she was pregnant to her not being pregnant again all in one sentence. Personal preference of course, there are arguments for not telling people early on. However, I don't think the GP should be sticking their oar in. Personally this 'don't tell people until 12 weeks' thing gets on my nerves. Miscarriages are common and we shouldn't be made to feel like we have to keep our pregnancies secret because we may lose the baby and we need to keep that our little secret too. Just my opinion of course.

Starlight11111 · 18/01/2024 01:15

@TTCSoManyQuestions88 you don't have to listen to that GP ๐Ÿ’•

As @Labyrinth86 points out, think about if you'd tell them if something did go wrong. I didn't get a chance to tell my mum I was pregnant before I miscarried in June at 5.5 weeks, so she got the "I was pregnant and now I'm not" emotional rollercoaster from me after, which was hard on us both to be honest.

Totally personal decision xxxxx

ForeverHopeful67 · 18/01/2024 01:53

Is anyone else still getting cramping at 6/7/8 weeks? It's stressing me out ๐Ÿ˜…
