@HRP1990 Hopefully theyโ€™ll be fine with it and all the news will be good anyway!

MudandMoet · 30/01/2024 15:35

@californiacooper what the actual?? That's amazing, so nice to read your positive outcome. Forget the previous scan and focus on this positive lovely day! Congratulations, again! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

MrsM89 · 30/01/2024 16:26

Anyone getting strong ovary pain? I've had a scan so I'm not worried about eptopic but today my right side is so painful. Feels like cyst pain. Xx

Babno3 · 30/01/2024 16:39

Hi everyone I hope you donโ€™t mind me joining, Iโ€™m 6+2 weeks today and lots of symptoms the most noticeable severe fatigue, bloating, hunger nausea lol I took this photo this morning and definitely feel like Iโ€™m getting a wee bump. This is my third so I think every body part knows how to stretch at this stage lol congrats to you all and sending lots of love and positivity for our pregnancy journeys ๐Ÿ’— ๐Ÿ‘ถ

Xur · 30/01/2024 16:48

@MrsM89 yeah I occasionally get them. The most was at the beginning (week 5), now I get them now and then. For me itโ€™s as-well the right side.
@Babno3 welcome to the always stressed overthinkers hotline๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘‹

Babno3 · 30/01/2024 16:58

@Xur well I guess Iโ€™ve joined the right group, biggest overthinker right here ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿคฃ

HRP1990 · 30/01/2024 17:02

Just had my booking appointment! It was fairly long and tedious, but nice to talk about being pregnant out loud lol. I didnโ€™t realise for second babies, you donโ€™t see the midwife again until 16 weeks? So other than my scan, my next appointment isnt until April 17th - seems forever away being only 7 weeks now!

Bakerbean · 30/01/2024 17:18

@MrsM89 Iโ€™ve been getting general cramping on and off the whole way through so far, but the discomfort changes location regularly and sometimes doesnโ€™t hurt at all. Today it feels more right sided, but as it moves around and is never truly painful, Iโ€™m hoping itโ€™s all just normal stretching and pressure etc!

Bakerbean · 30/01/2024 17:24

Welcome @Babno3 ๐Ÿ˜ and that definitely looks like a cute little bump already! As a plus size lady, Iโ€™m dreading how long itโ€™s going to take for me to look pregnant rather than just overweight. I have already got 2 new stretch marks very low down on my tummy, so I can tell I am growing (anyone else?!). I have stupidly elastic skin and am prone to keloid scarring, so Iโ€™m going to be absolutely covered in stretch marks by the end, but I donโ€™t care! - Iโ€™m going to embrace it โค๏ธ

Are there any other plus sized ladies in here who have been pregnant before & can tell me roughly how many weeks you were when you started to show? Iโ€™m a UK size 16-18 and carry a lot of weight around my tummy ๐Ÿ˜ž

VT6 · 30/01/2024 17:45

@HRP1990 its the same for me and its my first

californiacooper · 30/01/2024 17:49

Oh my goodness thank you so much everyone for your wishes, I am overwhelmed... โค๏ธ
So glad to be back in this group at least for now... I genuinely now can't quite believe it.
I am 5 weeks, so super early. Probably earlier than I thought. They are scanning me again to check for progress. She did say I have a "heart shaped uterus" which although it sounds cute I suspect may have some kind of issues... anyone heard of that before??

Fawklight · 30/01/2024 18:28

@californiacooper

Yes you have a bicornuate uterus. Mama doctor Jones on YouTube has talked about them before. Can't remember what video though. But it is interesting.

cd24x · 30/01/2024 18:31

@Bakerbean I'm plus size (around a size 18) and I didn't feel like I had a proper visible bump with my first until around 16ish weeks. First photo is me at 18 weeks. 2nd photo is 36 weeks just for comparison, in case you're worried you'll never look properly pregnant - for some reason this was a worry of mine first time round!

@cd24x ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน thank you so much for sharing those - you look amazing & that gives me so much hope for weeks to come. It really has been a big worry of mine, itโ€™s played on my mind a lot. Thank you ๐Ÿฅฐ

Bakerbean · 30/01/2024 18:43

Iโ€™m conscious that weโ€™ve nearly reached the 1000 limit again already ๐Ÿซฃ. Would anyone please be happy to create our part 3 chat for us when we come to the end of this thread? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป Iโ€™m crap with these things otherwise I would offer!

MudandMoet · 30/01/2024 18:45

@californiacooper welcome to the club, I have a bicornuate uterus (heart shaped) my baby is sat in the right horn and the sonographer said not to worry as it'll push right across to the left without issues.

MudandMoet · 30/01/2024 18:48

@HoneyandSunshine @emmatcc1 do either of you want to do the honours again with a new thread pretty please?? Xxx

Is your second scan tomorrow @emmatcc1 ? If so, good luck sweetie xx

cd24x · 30/01/2024 18:49

New thread here: www.mumsnet.com/talk/pregnancy/4997069-due-september-2024-part-3

Hope you don't mind me starting a new one!

Starlight11111 · 30/01/2024 18:52

@cd24x thanks for sharing your gorgeous bump photos! Like @Bakerbean I have had the same concern as I am plus size with weight on my middle already. As long as baby is healthy that's all that matters is what I keep reminding myself! Xx

Caroline2023 · 30/01/2024 18:55

@VT6 @Bakerbean @HRP1990 @MadsAngel joining you this weekend with a scan! Mine is Saturday when I will be 6w4d, feeling really nervous about it ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

@Decaffe i also havenโ€™t had consistent nausea, just odd bits. My gag reflex is however a lot worse and has been since just before my positive test! Iโ€™m mainly just exhausted and hungry. I have heard that at 7 weeks often more symptoms creep in, so we my be hit next week!

Bakerbean · 30/01/2024 19:20

@Nic17 itโ€™s nice to know Iโ€™m not alone, itโ€™s hard not to put extra pressure and criticism on myself at the moment, but I am doing everything I can to look after myself and little bean and I have to remind myself that that is all I can do! Like you say, as long as baby is healthy ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผโค๏ธ

emmatcc1 · 30/01/2024 20:08

@MudandMoet Yes second scan is tomorrow first thing in the morning. Honestly Iโ€™m having mixed feelings with what the outcome will be. If it goes bad I hope the second time will not take to conceive as long as this one did.

MudandMoet · 30/01/2024 20:23

@emmatcc1 hopefully all is well and you have a positive scan tomorrow- let us know. Do you have any symptoms? Xx

Xur · 30/01/2024 21:23

@emmatcc1 who knows Emma, you might pull a California cooper! Which is a newly discovered rotary shrodingers cat when you are pregnant and not pregnant at the same time, depending on who looks at the scan ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
