ChloeN · 01/10/2023 13:17

@Nervousbuthopeful my baby girl is 9 weeks too so sounds like we had them around the same time🥰 hope you’re getting on okay!

@tulipsunday is it going quickly?? I feel like my
pregnancy was so slow but maybe because it was my first?

Brokenpancreas94 · 01/10/2023 13:33

Thank you for the tag on the new thread...I'm 23 weeks it's going so slow for me! Xx

Bookwormmumuk · 01/10/2023 13:37

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant. I had my first miscarriage 7 years ago and struggled to get pregnant again after that. I had 2 rounds of IVF one unsuccessful and one successful but unfortunately there was no heartbeat at 9 weeks and I had a miscarriage only just before I fell pregnant naturally with this pregnancy.

I had an early scan and my 12 week scan with this pregnancy and everything was as it should be but I'm so nervous for my 20 week scan incase something has gone wrong or that I'll get bad news again. How do you keep yourselves sane between appointments?

Morv94 · 01/10/2023 14:01

I have just gone through a miscarriage(first time) heartbroken. We do want to try again. With my miscarriage I had very little bleeding so it was very unexpected no pain or cramps. Wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancys ❤️

tulipsunday · 01/10/2023 15:15

@Bookwormmumuk ahh the wait between scans is the worst just tried to keep as busy as possible glad you haven't got too long to wait. 20wks will be such a great milestone - will you be finding out what you are having?

@Nervousbuthopeful aw amazing news congratulations! Hope you and @ChloeN are enjoying your baby girls 💖

@Morv94 so sorry for your loss. How is your recovery going? X

Hey hope you don't mind me joining. I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my Rainbow baba. Had 3 chemicals before this one stuck.

Got a near 18 month old. He's also a Rainbow baba too. Had a MMC and a chemical before he stuck. 🥰

Morv94 · 01/10/2023 15:30

@tulipsunday it's okay. It hits me in waves wierd because I feel guilty for smiling. It's such a hard thing to deal with. I'm sure I will get there and hopefully next time all goes okay I am very scared tho

Nervousbuthopeful · 01/10/2023 15:41

@tulipsunday Only just realised you’d started a new thread—thanks for doing that and for tagging me!

@ChloeN That’s fantastic news—congratulations!!

All the best to everyone who is pregnant or trying ☺️

My2boysaremyworld · 01/10/2023 15:43

@tulipsunday thank you xx

SparkleFly · 01/10/2023 16:10

I'm here 👋 thanks for setting up the new thread.

SparkleFly · 01/10/2023 16:14

@Morv94 I've had 2 missed miscarriages and it's horrible learning what has happened when you just had no idea anything was wrong. I hope you catch again soon and get your baby. We'll be here for you when you do. x

TheBirdintheCave · 01/10/2023 16:22

Ta for the new thread.

Morv94 · 01/10/2023 16:25

@SparkleFly I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I hope you are okay. Yeah I am keeping everything crossed for next time. Such a horrible thing to go through. Thank you very much x

WhiteHorse92 · 01/10/2023 16:47

@tulipsunday thanks for the new thread. For anyone new on here I'm 24+2 weeks with a baby girl after a miscarriage at 5+5. Already have a 2.5 year old son 🙂

Kirstylvsya · 01/10/2023 17:04

Hey can I join? I have a 9 year old and had a MMC in 2016 after getting pregnant with clomid.

Currently 18 weeks pregnant naturally with rainbow baby, have my 20 week scan next week at 19 weeks and I'm terrified, have had many scans threw out this pregnancy but nothing can reassure me.

I feel depressed then guilty for feeling like this. I'm in disbelief that this is even happening and won't settle until baby is in my arms.

Does it get better? When?

SparkleFly · 01/10/2023 18:05

Probably should have said I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and had 2 missed miscarriages either side of a healthy pregnancy 🤷‍♀️ between 7 and 9 weeks.

Just had my booking in appointment today and was told that as I'm 40 and IVF pregnancy I'll be consultant-led so should be getting all the extra scans 😁

Was also told I might be able to get the NIPT test for free due to my age but will call tomorrow to check eligibility. I think with that test they can also tell the sex from the blood test really early (it's done 9-11 weeks).

Got to wait for the date for my 12 week scan now which I think will be last-minute warning due to our trust being a bit crap with sorting things in time and the post being awful!

So hopefully only 2 weeks until the scan, although I'm wondering if I get the NIPT if they'd scan me or anything before doing that as it'll likely be costly for them.

ChloeN · 01/10/2023 18:40

@Kirstylvsya I didn’t feel better at all which is a bit sad! Overall I enjoyed being pregnant but I was constantly obsessing over something! First it was line progression, then scans then baby’s movements. Then I was stressed about something going wrong during Labour. I think it’s really normal to feel that way xx

Kirstylvsya · 01/10/2023 18:47

@ChloeN I'm not enjoying it at all, it's getting me down. Keep thinking after 12 week scan I'll settle, after I'm past the "bad" time (last MMC) I'll settle, after 20 week scan I'll settle, nothing is helping. I'm praying hard all is week at next scan x

Brokenpancreas94 · 01/10/2023 18:52

@Kirstylvsya firstly congratulations! I had a missed miscarriage a year ago and am pregnant with my second child, I'm 23 weeks now, and honestly I'm still a nervous wreck! I'm type 1 diabetic so high risk anyway, but this pregnancy has been a rollercoaster, so many things wrong with me, luckily not baby! Although, have our 3rd attempt at a fetal echo on Tuesday as the last two times the consultant couldn't tell if his heart was okay, because he wasn't behaving!
I don't think I will be able to relax until he is here in my arms! Xx
