Hey ladies 👋🏼 Bad news my end, woken up this morning and just 'don't feel right' 😔 I'm 5 weeks 4 days.... have had some light bleeding (blood was bright red) then it stopped but have on and off cramps now 😭 curled up on the sofa with a hot water bottle... feel so sad and heartbroken that this is going to end badly! Have got to wait till tomorrow to be seen by my local EPU as they don't scan on the weekends 😮‍💨 Please send your prayers 🙏🏼

Has anything similar happened to anyone else and they've been ok!? 😞❤️‍🩹

tulipsunday · 14/01/2024 13:08

@SunshineAndRainbows6 sorry this is happening. Hopefully there is a reason for the bleeding. Will keep everything crossed for you xx

I’m so sorry you are going through this @SunshineAndRainbows6 .

I don’t want to give false hope because you will know your body - all I will say is that I think once you have had a miscarriage you are programmed to always think the worst with every symptom. I’ve written this pregnancy off so many times and despite 5 positive scans I still can’t quite believe there will be a baby at the end of it.

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 14/01/2024 15:11

@tulipsunday @Hoping4amiracle Thank you ladies 🙏🏼 Hoping for a miracle this end ✨ The bleeding and cramps have stopped now, I've just got a little brownish blood when I wipe, nothing on the pad 🤷🏻‍♀️ Will see what the doctors and scan say tomorrow.... I feel physically sick of having to go there.... as I know it will be the same unit and scanning room as where they told us we had lost our baby in October 😮‍💨 Just keep crying 😭 Life isn't fair 😞🌈

tulipsunday · 15/01/2024 07:24

@SunshineAndRainbows6 hope the bleeding has continued to stop. Sending you all the luck for today.

@SunshineAndRainbows6 hope the bleeding has continued to stop. Sending you all the luck for today.

@tulipsunday Morning 👋🏼 So it turned out to be a light bleed, wiped a couple times and the blood had stopped and then turned to brown last night and didn't go on the pad 🤔 Have had no more cramps and woken up the same, no more bleeding or anything 🙏🏼 Plus I got my 2-3 weeks on a CB, which I was still getting 1-2 on Thursday 🤷🏻‍♀️ So that must mean my hormones have gone up a little 🤔

I'm so confused and stressed out about it all, I dunno what's going on... I'm a ball of nerves just waiting for this phone call 😞 I said to my partner that apart from my sore boobs I still just don't 'feel pregnant' 😭 I was being sick by this point with both my other pregnancy's, including the MMC and my lines were darker and I had a 3+ CB by now 🤷🏻‍♀️ So who knows, only time will tell I guess 😔 I will keep you all posted!

I hope everyone else is doing ok 👍🏼
How are you @tulipsunday 🥰🌈

Hello all. I’m a 18+4 after 2 miscarriages last year. I’ve spent the last 4 months a nervous wreck, awaiting what feels like the inevitable. Just when I feel myself starting to enjoy being pregnant something happens, or doesn’t happen, that sends me spinning down a wormhole of “what if” and “maybe” and “here we go again”.

My 12 week scan was a blessing, and everything was fine, but the wait between then and the 20 weeks scan is driving me crazy! I feel unsupported by my midwife and the nhs through this, despite them knowing my history, they just keep telling me everything is normal but that doesn’t help the feeling of dread.

Wishing all mumma’s growing their rainbow babies the best!

Cinai · 15/01/2024 15:03

I just found out that I’m pregnant again after a misscarriage two months ago. I should be happy, but I’m really struggling…it’s like my body suddenly remembers all the recent pain, and I’m not sure how to cope with this pregnancy. I somehow wish now that I’d given it more time, but I’m 40 and time was not on our side, so we decided to try again straight away.

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 15/01/2024 17:22

Hey all 👋🏼 Unfortunately not the news we wanted to hear 😞 After our MMC in October this one is now a bloody eptopic 😭 we are devastated and I feel a bit numb at the moment, but it's just one of those things 😔 Got to have more bloods and another scan Wednesday and then booking in for surgery soon after.... so I will be leaving you girls 🙏🏼

I hope all of you lovely ladies have the healthiest and smoothest pregnancy's ✨🌈💞

Brokenpancreas94 · 15/01/2024 18:39

So sorry @SunshineAndRainbows6 😞 xxx

Brokenpancreas94 · 15/01/2024 18:43

How are you doing @tulipsunday @WhiteHorse92 are either of you overdue yet? I think tulip you are? If I remember correctly!
We were finally discharged Saturday night around 9pm what an absolute nightmare!
My hormones are all over the place and I'm crying alot!! Things were going okay, well they still are, just partner is being a bit of an ass!
Hope you're all doing okay xx

AprilShwrs · 15/01/2024 18:54

@SunshineAndRainbows6 So very sorry to hear this. Sending you love and healing vibes. 😔

tulipsunday · 15/01/2024 21:13

@SunshineAndRainbows6 so sorry for your update. Take care of yourself 💖

@Brokenpancreas94 yep 41 wks+1 now. Obviously no rush to enter this world!Induction provisionally booked for Friday so hoping he will come before then. First step would be the insertion of dilapan rods which help to soften the cervix. Don't like the idea of the next steps - waters being broken, drip etc. but need to try and keep anxiety in check 😬 thinking of you and little one glad you are ok

@WolfMother326 Re: progesterone I didn’t have any spotting while taking it, I did have one bleed at 12+4 but that was a heamatoma and unrelated to Cyclogest. When I finished at 16 weeks I didn’t have any spotting either. Yes the age thing it might be, not sure, when I had my first miscarriage the (male) consultant told me it was probably “old eggs” and I found that very insensitive, I was 36 at the time. I think my 3 last miscarriages which were all 7-9 weeks maybe I didn’t have enough progesterone to sustain the pregnancy since this time it seems to have been different. I still get nervous every time something happens or I feel pain but going through the milestones I’m feeling more and more optimistic.

WhiteHorse92 · 16/01/2024 18:12

Little update: Gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this morning at 39+4 🥰. Very different to my first baby, this time they came very quickly, 3 hours from first contraction to being born! Lucky she wasn't born in the car as got stuck in rush hour traffic 🙉. Was fully dilated when I got there and she was out in a few pushes! No tears or stitches either, still in shock at how different this labour was to my first. Back home now enjoying the baby snuggles 🥰 xx

sweetpotato29 · 16/01/2024 20:24

Wow back home already! What a whirlwind of a day @WhiteHorse92 congratulations on your little bundle of joy 💞💞

tulipsunday · 16/01/2024 21:03

@WhiteHorse92 amazing news! Congratulations. Three hours wow 🤩 God that car journey must have been stressful! Enjoy the newborn snuggles and hope you get some rest.

Hoping mine will be here before I am scheduled to go in to hospital on Friday. Some mucus plug lost this morning. Lower back pain and stomach tightenings off and on throughout day so think body is starting to prepare 🤞

TheBirdintheCave · 16/01/2024 22:00

@WhiteHorse92 Congratulations :) I'm so glad it went well!

I'm very scared this one will come quicker than their brother now that we live 40 mins from the hospital 😅

WhiteHorse92 · 16/01/2024 22:46

Thank you 😊

@tulipsunday I went to bed with a fever on Sunday night then felt unwell all day Monday, had loads of diarrhoea throughout the night last night and threw up once as well as horrific stomach cramps and tightening feelings at the top of my bump. Thought I had a sickness bug but now wondering if it was all a pre-labour thing as the moment contractions started all my symptoms just disappeared and I've felt fine all day 😅

tulipsunday · 17/01/2024 09:46

@WhiteHorse92 oh god that sounds horrible. I have heard that sickness/diarrhoea can happen. Least the actual active labour part was good!

Brokenpancreas94 · 17/01/2024 17:18

@tulipsunday fingers crossed he makes an appearance before Friday!!

Congratulations @WhiteHorse92 very quick for you!! I had the same symptoms, I started to lose mucus plug 2 days before I had my section and then from then onwards I couldn't keep any food down, which was horrible I felt like crap, but as soon as I'd had him and was back onto the ward my appetite came right back!! Xx

Hoping4amiracle · 19/01/2024 15:33

@SunshineAndRainbows6 so sorry you and your partner are going through this now. Take care xoxo

Hoping4amiracle · 19/01/2024 15:40

@WhiteHorse92 congratulations - that sounds like a whirlwind delivery but glad you and baby are well. Enjoy the baby cuddles xx

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 20/01/2024 09:21

@Hoping4amiracle Thank you 🙏🏼 I ended up having emergency surgery Thursday evening as my tube ruptured and I had internal bleeding in my pelvis and abdomen 😔 Very sore and emotional but we will get our rainbow one day 🌈

All the best to everyone else 🙏🏼💞
