Hi all! 😊
I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!
I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!
Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

@HannahLouD hey lovely! Been on a couple of the other threads with you! So glad you got your BFP! My due date is around 31st October so pretty close to yours!

Hi @HannahLouD I’m similar to you in that I tested (twice) yesterday and both positives. Ran the dates through the NHS calculator and we got the 2 November also.
Agree very early days but excited, nervous, all of the above and more. Still doesn’t feel real, and I don’t think it will until I have a scan done at around 8 weeks.

@HannahLouD so far I'm feeling weirdly relaxed! With my first I was quite anxious and checked a link to a miscarriage rate predictor thing for weeks! I think I'm still in a bit of shock/disbelief that it's happened though so maybe I'll get more anxious when it feels more real! Last time I also didn't tell anyone (other than DH) until after the 12wk scan, whereas we've already told our mothers and my sister this time! Partly cos I think I may need more help with having a toddler and not being in lockdown this time round! I just feel like I want to try and enjoy it though and embrace the positives. My sister had a few losses and she said to me that if it's going to happen it happens whether you feel excited or worried so you might as well try and enjoy the ride...

🙋🏻♀️ Hello! Yaaaas congrats everybody! This will be baby #2 (pregnancy #3) for me 🌈 Due on 2nd November.
Feeling quite content and excited at the moment, although it's just hit me that it might be tricky to control a toddler while trying to look after a newborn 😂 My daughter will have just turned 2 by the time this one arrives so probably well into the terrible twos! 🙈
My husband and I work with his parents (family business making cheese!) so we told them straight away with our daughter so we could start planning my maternity cover. Glad i did because i had awful morning sickness and had to have crackers in my pockets at all times and i think they would've noticed 😂.
My parents live overseas and they're visiting in August for a month - i'm tempted to not say anything and surprise them with a bump at the airport but I don't think i could keep a secret like that from them for that long!
When i fell pregnant in October we were forced to tell our families about it as my MIL was planning a holiday at the same time that baby was due and was really pressuring everybody to commit to the dates so she could book it. I didn't want to say anything at the time as something didn't feel right about the pregnancy. Wish we hadn't because it ended in a mmc! Although it was nice to have the support i think it made me feel worse because i was trying really hard to hide how upset i was and i also didn't want to let them down and not go to work (even though all i wanted to do was rest).
So that's put me off saying anything this time for a little while 😅 - I think my husband will want to tell his parents soon though. We lost our one at 8 weeks just before Xmas (which is when it usually happens, if it's going to). So if i'm feeling a bit wobbly about waiting for the 12 week scan maybe i'll think about an early one first to check everything is ok.
Anyway! Feeling much more confident about this pregnancy already ✨ my period isnt due until Friday, going to test tomorrow with a frer to see if the line has gotten darker. If it's anything like my daughter the line will be almost or just as dark as the control line 🤞🏻
I've made a November Babies FB group for anybody who wants to join it! I feel like stuff gets lost in threads on here sometimes and it's nice to share bump pics each week etc!

Looking forward to sharing this with you gals anyway 💖
