Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

@Bubblemachiene thank you! I’ve been worrying about symptoms going however last few days have been feeling nauseous so I’m grateful for that! How did you calculate how many weeks you are?

Mummytobe2023 · 21/03/2023 08:51

Hi @Travellingislife I just wanted to say that you’re not alone in how you feel. I woke up today and don’t ‘feel’ pregnant anymore either compared to the last few weeks but my HR (also a Fitbit geek!) is still 10bpm more than it was one month ago. I’m not sure if you’re into meditation but I used it when TTC and there are some good anti-anxiety first trimester ones on YouTube if you can find 30 minutes to try and chill out that might help. I’m going to try and spend some time doing that today. Xx

FlyingHighFlyingLow · 21/03/2023 08:57

Woke up this morning feeling horrific, nearly thrown up twice and my head feels like its been stuffed with cotton wool and getting rather dizzy! I'm only 4+3, I thought this shit wasn't supposed to kick in for another couple of weeks? Am I just unwell or could the morning sickness be starting rather early?

Bubblemachiene · 21/03/2023 09:02

@TMI2000 I go by the flo app and I put the mc down as a period , I know its not completely accurate but il know for sure on dating scan but I had a scan at 5+2 and they agreed it looked about right for dates..I think it was a mmc I had.

HayleyD93 · 21/03/2023 09:22

@TMI2000 I used bounty app to get my date, I put in LMP and it gives estimated due date. Can also do it on Premom app but I haven't added pregnancy to that yet as after my chemical in December it wiped all my previous data and had to wait to start all over again.

TMI2000 · 21/03/2023 10:13

@Bubblemachiene @HayleyD93 thank you! My confusion was because I hadn’t had AF since a previous mc in early feb. Going from the first day of that as the period on Flo and NHS Website I would be 6+4 which is really exciting! Xxx

Skyla01 · 21/03/2023 10:18

@FlyingHighFlyingLow I think some people are unlucky and can be ill from really early on. But symptoms can vary so hopefully you'll be feeling better soon.

Mldn · 21/03/2023 10:50

My boobs fee back to normal today after being so sore the entire time. So of course I’m panicking! Isn’t this such an unenjoyable period of time. Still feeling slightly dizzy & HR hovering in the 70/80s, so imagine absolutely nothing to worry about. But it’s just such a trivial time!

Travellingislife · 21/03/2023 11:34

@Mummytobe2023 thank you! I’ve been neglecting my breathing / meditation exercises but have just done one and they do help a lot with anxiety.
I’ve read that rhr can drop around week 6-7 as the body gets used to being pregnant, then starts to rise again and when many miscarriages happen around those weeks as well people might try and find a link which is just coincidental? Some women also see a drop around week 8-9 when the placenta takes over.
I’ve got a scan in a week and can’t wait for that, the waiting game is so stressful.

MooseWL · 21/03/2023 12:54

I had my booking in date today and got my NHS scan for 21st April- exciting!
My midwife is lovely too which is good as I really didn't like my community midwife last time.🤣

SnookyPook · 21/03/2023 13:10

@MooseWL aw that is exciting! Great to have a date to work towards! 😁 Good you like your midwife too!

vix_85 · 21/03/2023 13:16

This group is so reassuring in terms of everyone is different with how pregnancy symptons present. I have had test of 1 of 2 HCG this morning, with the second booked for Thurs. Just praying this really is our time for a much wanted rainbow baby 🌈🌈🌈🌈. I am so nervous about the results and worried about what happens next, if this attempt with the progesterone doesn't work.

I have had random mini nausea moments but mainly constantly needed the bathroom and very sore boobs. I know this can be exacerbated by progesterone though regardless of any increase in HCG.

My mind is officially a fog and just wishing these weeks away! Anyone else?!

Journey2022 · 21/03/2023 14:13

Hi All, I have finally got my BFP this weekend after 3 years of TTC (and 5 rounds of stims!) its been a long journey!

I am due 26th November, currently 4 weeks 2 days. I really am an anxious mess and so worried something is going to go wrong as its taken me so long to just get to this stage!!

Im scared to get too hopeful! does anyone else feel the same?

LMW84 · 21/03/2023 14:22

@Journey2022 Massive congratulations on your BFP!🥰
I am feeling quite anxious myself at the moment as well - it sort of comes and goes; one day I feel quite zen about the whole thing and the next I really don’t. I’ve wanted to get pregnant for years and it’s finally happened, and I hadn’t quite anticipated how nerve wracking the first trimester was going to be 🤣 My boobs don’t hurt as much today, and I don’t feel as exhausted as I normally do, so I am feeling quite anxious today. But I have an early scan booked for next week to hopefully try and put my mind at rest ☺️

38andtrying · 21/03/2023 14:33

Off for an early scan at 4pm, my test is a bit lighter this morning and my symptoms don't feel as strong. I am 6w+2 today, I'm praying it's good news and I'm being dramatic. My last pregnancy stopped progressing around the same time so I'm really nervous and feel like I'm going to have a panic attack.

LotzW · 21/03/2023 14:34

@38andtrying Not much longer to distract yourself. Hoping it's good news for you xx

Journey2022 · 21/03/2023 14:35

@medicmumma this is me!! I kept getting anxiety this weekend and ordering more tests Ive done 5-6 of every brand I must be at about 20ish tests now! I also find me and my husband talking about it saying 'Well if it happens' im so anxious something is going to happen or its not where it needs to be. I feel I am dulling his excitement by being so anxious! I am waiting on second bloods to check my hcg is where it needs to be (at 4+1day my hcg was at 251) I go back tomorrow for more bloods then ideally a scan later this week/early next week. I am being monitored as I have been taking letrozole, and had spotting last week, and im highly anxious! Not sure if my fertility journey has made me worse with anxiety as I know it took me 3 years just to get 1 positive cycle!

Journey2022 · 21/03/2023 14:38

@LMW84 oh its taken you years also? was you doing fertility medication or ivf? big congratulations to you too! I really think the long fertility journey has made me more anxious as I dont believe anything will ever be straight forward for me.

@38andtrying have you had bloods done to check your HCG? honestly a test being lighter may just be that you was less dehydrated try not to worry, it must be hard when you have been through MC before. Keep us updated!

38andtrying · 21/03/2023 14:41

No hcg taken, I think the loss of symptoms is what Haa spooked me more than anything, I'm praying to all the Gods

LMW84 · 21/03/2023 14:44

@Journey2022 No, I did conceive naturally, but I’m 39 and very nervous. Various reasons why it’s taken so long for me to get pregnant, but I also feel like I’m ruining it for my OH by being so worried about it. I keep having words with myself to stop being so negative and just enjoy the moment - I can’t change what will happen, but it’s easier said than done isn’t it. It sounds like you’re being nicely monitored by the doctors though, so I have everything crossed for you ☺️

MooseWL · 21/03/2023 14:51

@38andtrying Good luck with your scan let us know how it goes!
We're going to need a new thread soon I'll create one and link it...

Pip1402 · 21/03/2023 14:51

I have everything crossed for you @38andtrying Try to focus on your breathing if you're feeling panicky. Symptoms can come and go so hopefully that's all this is. Best of luck with your scan.

Sb86 · 21/03/2023 15:06

All the best with your scan @38andtrying ❤️

TMI2000 · 21/03/2023 15:20

@38andtrying Good luck with your scan!
I had the exact same this past weekend that my lines were fainter and my symptoms diminishing however they are back with a vengeance now and stronger lines! Fingers are crossed for you xx
